I’m very sad they wouldn’t let me bring my tiny dog into the garden. I will not leave her in the car when it’s over 80 degrees and I've never had a problem before with her in a garden center. This business just lost my business.

Always have such a beautiful and healthy selection to choose from. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.

Extremely expensive for some items , but they do have rare herbs/plants from time to time that can make it worth it.

Terse....too busy too assist. Poor selection of citrus trees each time visited. No comparison to the service you get from say.....Flora Grub in SF.

I am not impressed

SMG is always a fun visit! The nursery is inviting and vast and attended by knowledgeable staff. So lucky to have this treasure nearby!

They are patient with people new to gardening. Very helpful with an amazing variety and choice! It's our favorite place!

This place is crazy expensive. I noticed a 2” succulent was 15.00. Then in another place same succulent was 25.00??? One of the statues was 200.00 I bought at another nursery and it was 100.00

Unique and beautiful nursery. Wander through the lovely grounds and be inspired! Hard to find plants and elegant pots, planters and fountains. Pricey but worth it.

Great place to find a huge selection of plants, flowers, vegetables, fruits, trees, garden art and so much more. Helpful, knowledgeable and friendly staff are a great resource. Lots of seasonal gardening ideas and items.

I've been coming to Sonoma Mission Gardens for many years, and I have always looked forward to the colorful collection of plants, the inviting ploshing of fountains, and the noisy flock of gorgeous fowl on site. I have felt welcomed there by their personable staff and I know I can turn to Dave Fazzio with any questions, however trivial. I'm not a good or devoted gardener, and my purchases at SMG have never been large. Until recently I had no cause to call on their landscaping services. When I did, however, I was very pleased by the professionalism of the staff as well as their personal attention to my needs. They went beyond my expectations, making thoughtful improvements and offering suggestions for the future. Thanks to SMG my home irrigation system is functioning well and my property is ready to handle winter rains. I'm glad I have such a helpful neighbor.

I live in the east bay and i will ALWAYS make a stop here if i head to the wineries. Full of inspiration and knowledgeable staff. An amazing place. Beautiful to see and the birds make it fun. I could hang out all day!

What an amazing place. Variety of plants and service five star. I will be back. You have to visit. Trust me staff knows more about plants and flowers. Gave me great direction and pricing very competitive.

Great selection of plants and they are always happy to help you select a plant. Have bought many a plant and even a fountain here. Check out their various animals….it doubles as a small zoo :)

My friends and I came from Vallejo to shop and ask questions about some of their plants/succulents. We were there for about an hour before we were finally greeted by someone who worked there. Even then her greeting was just part of her job and she kept on going. Finally after being there for about 2 hours or so, the employee who greeted us an hour ago was the only one we have seen this far. When it was time to check out we were amazed to see that there were 4 employees hanging out at the cash register with no customers. My friends and I looked at each other in shock that this is how customer service is in Sonoma. So sad! We would have spent more money if we had someone come help us and answer some of our questions on care of certain plants or where some of the plants we wanted were located.
If you are looking for an amazing nursery with amazing customer service; you should check out Mid City Nursery in American Canyon. They give you the best customer service.

Great place to find all sorts of plants and supplies for plants. Just stopped by for quick look and found all sorts of plant for a vegetable garden. Left with several varieties of tomatoes and a salvia I had never seen before. Larger plants and the rarer one more expensive. Will go back when in the area.

I was warned that the animals here were kept poorly, and still I was shocked. The way the chickens are kept is vile, cruel, and inhumane. They're locked in a tiny coop with nothing to do besides walk in circles and lay down. I was sickened. I would absolutely never buy ANYTHING from this place. There is no excuse for this treatment. I feel extremely bad for the animals here and the employees who are forced to stand by and watch this happen because of the owners. This treatment is absolutely criminal. What a disgusting way to run your business.

Sonoma Mission Gardens employs people that have a true love and knowledge of gardening. Great inventory and atmosphere too!
