4 years later, and I am changing this review. Service is no longer outstanding. It is hard to reach people in office and it is very difficult to talk with someone in person about the lawn. Grass has MANY weeds now. Don't use their mosquito service is you want consistent treatment. I called today about the mosquitoes that are appearing and found out that they missed a month without letting us know.
Looking for a different service.

We can't say enough good things about TruGreen Lawn Care service, in a short period of time, they have transformed our yard from a weed infested mess to a thick green lawn that our family and neighbors really appreciate. The service is outstanding, and they will keep coming back under their free retreat policy for the hard to kill weeds (e.g. wild violets) that nobody else gets. Professional staff as well who are really willing to work with your budget and situation to provide best service they can. We highly recommend this company. (FYI - they also do mosquito treatment which makes a huge difference in actually being able to get outside and enjoy the yard without getting bitten to pieces.)

My weeds are worse since my last treatment. The Technician agreed & said he would heavy up on this treatment. As I've stated on previous service treatments, if TruGreen can't control my weeds, then I will no longer need their services.

Hiring Trugreen has been one of the biggest mistake that we could have made. It has been a poor experience from the start. I have uploaded a few photos with time stamps to show some before and after photos after trugreen treated our yard. After literally killing our grass, we scheduled to have someone come take a look at our yard to fix the damages. I received a text message 3 days later from a tech saying he had another tech take photos of our yard while he was in area, and that the yard would be fine with watering it. Obviously just water this is not going to fix my yard. My wife and I were both home that day and no tech came by our house (let alone if the tech was in the area why wouldn't he just address the issue then?). After that I have had 4 different account manager call me, but not a manager that I requested on the very first phone call. When I ask to be transferred to the local manager they say they have to put in a request, and the manager will reach out to me.

I have never been so disappointed in hiring a company in my life. We just spent thousands of dollars to replace our landscaping in our new home, and now we have to look at that yard every day. I would highly recommend to not use Trugreen if you care the slightest bit about your yard, but if you're looking for your yard to turn into a mud pit, then they're the perfect company for you.

Justin Ferguson did an excellent job on my lawn and flower bed! I will be using them from now on and definitely recommend him and company for anyone that needs any kinds of lawn service!!

Someone from TruGreen just came by, soliciting their services in our neighborhood (signs everywhere for no soliciting posted). The man said “if your husband was taking care of the weeds you wouldn’t have any”. Who do you guys think you are? Next time you’ll be greeted with the police for your illegal soliciting in our neighborhood.

I have been a Trugreen customer for many years. They have always helped make my lawn lush and beautiful. They are very good at what they do. What I appreciate most, is that they take the time to address any concerns that I have. Thanks Trugreen!

Great technician, always pleasant and friendly. He always explains what he is doing and makes sure to advise me on my pets access after treatment.

What’s the saddest part about this is that my nephew-in-law is one of the managers over TruGreen in my area!!! Don’t worry, they don’t give preferential treatment or consideration at all!!! I am beyond disappointed b/c I haven't heard from or seen him since February when I launched a complaint against their sales and service. I complained that TruGreen telemarketing was a nuisance. They called us in upwards of almost 10 times every day. That is until my husband caved into your pushy sales person, who made a bunch of empty promises. TruGreen had treated our lawn for a year, and it still was a wreck. Now, we’re into our second year, and it’s still no different today then it was then; I believe it looks worse! I kind of expected more than a, “Thanks for all the business you gave to me and my company these past few years!”, which we didn’t even get—big surprise!!! 😡 I almost forgot to mention that we are also actually having to pay an extra $75 for mosquito prevention every month which was NOT part of the contract deal. Oh, did I mention how bad our yard still looks after all this time and money we gave to your company? We will no longer be using TruGreen and definitely not recommending you to anyone any longer. Now, y’all, go lie to the world on TV with all your pristine PGA golf courses. All you care about is 💵, you know, that green money keeping your pockets deep!

My yard was a disaster a year ago, barely any grass and all kinds of noxious weeds. After a year of treatments, plus aeration and overseeding, my yard is the nicest on the block and draws compliments from neighbors. The specialist who handles my service is friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.

The team for Southern Pro Outdoors were very punctual, hard working and professional. I will be sure to go back to this team for all my landscaping and lawn care needs. Could not recommend them highly enough.

We have had Tru Green for almost 2 years. They did great at first, then stopped spraing two sides of my fence. I have weeds all over those 2 sections. I called last night to try and get it fixed. I was sent overseas to a call center where I was lied to numerous times when I asked for a supervisor. I was told they cant transfer calls, I was told the same thing when I called today. Then when I told them to cancel my account, they all of a sudden could transfer me to a supervisor. Once i got them I was told it would take 48 hours for someone from the local center to call back. The supervisor told me it was my fault that i didn't get to talk to someone. She also made it out like i was overreacting for not getting what I paid for. I am filing a BBB complaint as well and requesting my money returned. I will also be filing with the attorney generals office for theft from consumers.

I have using Tru Green for over 5 years for my lawn and shrubs. Mostly they have done good work until they don`t. I still have some weeds in my yard and pointed this out to the technicians plus called the office to request some spot treatment multiple times. They told me it would cost extra.
I also have some mole problems and requested a treatment to kills grubs. They told me that would cost extra. Over the last 6 months I have spoken with the technicians and called the office, & left messages for a call back. No response from them. The technicians said those were the most frequent complaints they here from customers. I am beginning to contact other companies for my lawn service. I am giving them a 1 star because that is the lowest I can rate them. The manager needs to be replaced.

Davis Walsh who came to treat my yard today was very friendly and he gave excellent customer service. He rang my doorbell before he started to let me know that he had arrived. When he went into my back yard he opened and closed my gate before he left. I get a lot of compliments from my neighbors about my yard. I am very grateful to Davis and Trugreen for making that happen. I am a very satisfied customer!
