Not only was this THE BEST job I've had done by a landscaping company, they went above & BEYOND to make my yard & gardens absolutely GORGEOUS!
The whole team from the office staff, to the crew workers, to the owner were friendly, efficient & turned my yard into a beautiful, serene area my family and I LOVE being in now!
The integrity of this company is hands down top notch! NEVER any hidden fees, in fact it was less than I expected, yet turned out better than I hoped!

Its been a pleasure working with Matt and his crew. I met with Matt to go over my needs and he was very quick and thorough in making a plan and getting back with me. His pricing is very competitive to those landscaping companies in my area and the finished product on my landscape design is beautiful! His crew is very nice and left things very neat. I have also started using him for lawn maintenance and will be using him this winter for plowing as well. Can't say enough good things!

Google wouldn't let me write a new review, only update the old. This is 8/21/20, had A Keener Landscape and Design do some work for me the third time, this time building a stone stairway down a steep hill and landscaping with new beds around those stairs and the back of my house. Again, very happy with the results. 3 for 3 times a satisfied customer. We're getting lots of compliments on how it looks. I'll also say that Mat's crew was very polite and professional, and Matt followed through on everything he said he'd do. I've recommended the company several times and will continue to do so!
This is from several years ago, first time we worked with A Keener: Matt and crew did a finish grade, built flower beds, and did a seed and staw new lawn installation at my newly constructed home. They did a great job. I did exactly what Matt said in terms of watering and the lawn came in really well. Lots of people have remarked on how good it looked for a new lawn.

We had gotten several estimates for the job and the price was all about the same, but Matt's proposal was more for the money. They followed up and made sure things were growing after the job-something no one else was going to do.

We're looking forward to working with them again when we finish the landscaping this spring. Highly recommend this company!

I had A Keener Landscaping and Design out to look at a French drain that needed repair as well as a new gate for the fence. I have been calling since a week after the gentleman came for any type of update on pricing which was now 3 weeks ago. I am still calling them trying to get the estimate for these projects. I did talk to their rep Sandy a week ago and she was supposed to see where this process was. Apparently its nowhere because I still do not have any information. No call back still and nothing from them in my email. I am literally begging for them to send me something to be able to hire them and give them my money. Something is very wrong with that. As a business, it seems like A Keener Landscaping and Design does not need business from us because they lack any type of follow up or communication to people that are looking to hire a "professional". Do yourself a favor and skip calling this one.

We first used Hometown Landscaping last year and it was a pleasure to work with Zac. We asked to be contacted this year for some additional work we wanted done. True to his word, we were contacted as requested. While we were unable to have all the work done, we did have him come back to touch up his previous work. We plan to have him come back next year and hopefully have the additional work done at this time.

Hometown Landscaping does a great job! Zac is very dependable and professional. My husband and I can no longer handle the yard work and it's a pleasure to look out our window and see a manicured lawn. He will be plowing our driveway as well this winter. We are very pleased with his work. We highly recommend his services.

Got behind on the yard due to life events and asked if they could do a one time cut and bag. Zac was so nice and said yes and they came out literally 15 minutes after accepting the estimate and did an absolutely amazing job. I highly recommend and will reach out to them first for any future needs! Thanks again!

Needed some landscaping for my mom's house they were very accommodating they actually ordered stuff that they didn't have in to make sure it was ready for the install they were very courteous professional and did a wonderful job unfortunately it's winter so I can't really show what it looks like because the flowers are all dead right now and the trees lost their leaves but would highly suggest them

If I could have chose 0 stars I would have. Don’t waste your time with this company. Took forever to get an appointment for a quote on a 20k job. Said they would have it by X date. No response. Called a day later and left message. 3 business days later and no response again. Called and finally talked to a person and said they were busy and call back later. Can’t believe they get any business at all with the poor response and customer service. Don’t waste your time!

Tony and Dawn are the best! Knowledgeable, professional and very personable. They removed dying pine trees and made a beautiul island filled with healthy plants and shrubs. Our yard was cleaner after they left than it was when they the project.

We stopped for mums, and had a great chat with the husband/wife team running the operation. Beautiful flowers and plants, fair pricing, great service. They’ve always been closed when we’ve stopped before. What a great surprise to learn that this place will now be open more convenient hours! We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent customer service! The employees at Candyapple are very friendly and helpful. My husband and I made a silly mistake and purchased the wrong type of tree. Without any questions, Candyapple said we could bring it back and swap it out for what we really wanted. We will definitely be purchasing through them moving forward!

Before you buy any shrubs or flowers, you need to check this place out. Why? 1. They have plants you won’t find anywhere else, really unique items. 2. Their flowers and shrubs are huge and healthy. 3. They are compact. You don’t have to do a lot of walking to see everything they have. 4. They are knowledgeable and helpful. Nice people who loaded our car for us. 5. They don’t just sell hanging baskets, they combine a variety of flowers where the colors are complementary, and some hang down the sides. So, check them out. Their variety is amazing!
