Excellent assortment of many different outdoor plants and seeds. The employees seem to be pretty smart about their plants as well. Too it off and they’re a wonderful community supporter of the local schools!

I'm truly a big fan of this nursery. Everyone is so helpful and the abundance of things to see and purchase are amazing.

5 stars for Linda’s willingness to help me. She circled back to my mom and I, heard me patiently, and—she understood *exactly* what I needed, well beyond my research and knowledge, WHILE making a plan to get me on my way. Was way worth the drive from out of town. What stood out was her learned patience and MEGA passion for gardening.
5 stars for a taller, lean gentleman told me his name but I can’t remember — he heard me say I was gettin dizzy, needed water, brought me a cold bottle and checked back in - not too many times, not too few even tho he walked by 17 times in a short amount of time and could’ve overdone it. So grateful for that kind of customer attention and care! He made me feel at home and had a heart of service. Thankful.
5 stars for good savings comparable to my big city, chain garden stores/nurseries but those have .004 of the heart and on top of it ness Cherry Valley has!
I’d easily give 5 stars if:
👉🏻 the checkout experience wasn’t so awkward
👉🏻 if the selection of vegetables weren’t so picked over but that is on me for waiting so long to get plants! -
I love gardening and decided to take my grand daughters, age 3 and 8, ti the nursery with me to give them an experience. What a great experience it was! From the moment we walked through the gate, a great garden experience awaited us. One of the gardeners offered us a little red Radio Flyer wagon, to which the three year old was happy to climb into. I was asked if there was anything particular we were looking for and I mentioned we want to plant some herbs. He showed us to the herb section and said if we needed anything to let him know. Once we picked out our herbs, the girls enjoyed the garden paths leading to benches amongst the trees, flowers and water features. We then went to check out the little store to which my grand daughters got to pick out a lollipop to enjoy while I continued to shop. They lived that!!! I continued to pull our little wagon, while the girls explored the flowers, trees, and colorful flower pots. The three year old needed to go potty and to my surprise there was a nice, clean porta-potty for women only. What could have been a stressful end to our garden shopping, was actually another part of the overall experience. Thank you Cherry Valley. We will be back soon.

5 years go I purchased the following fruit trees - sour cherry, peach, pomegrenade, apricot, satsuma mandarine, oro blanco grapefruit and black mission fig. Only apricot and pomegrenade are normal tree while all other trees proved to be semi-dwarf or even dwarf variety. I was buying normal trees and specifically asking for them so be aware of that as well of the fact they don't accept returns whatsoever.
Since I could not add a reply to the owner's response I am adding my reply here: pictures are uploaded - you can see and compare peach tree, black mission fig and cherry that I planted 5 years ago with Sumo mandarin tree I planted three years ago (it was about 3 feet tall). Regarding your comment on possible issues with care, I already planted dozens of trees and all of them do well so I am not taking this. These trees bear fruits well and generally they do well, the only problem they are dwarfs or semi-dwarfs and they were sold as normal trees. -
Wonderful place!
Everyone should take a drive here it's amazing. The nursery's in the area are fantastic and the Lavender Festival was great. -

I absolutely LOVE this nursery! They have a huge selection of beautiful healthy plants and the staff there are so friendly and knowledgeable, they told me how to care for my plants as a new plant mom. We came home with two BEAUTIFUL Apple trees, a Fuji and a Dorsett. One of the Apples got knocked off of the Dorsett in transport so I decided to try it even though it wasn’t ripe or even close to being fully grown at all & OMG the flavor this little unripe apple already had was exquisite!!! These are still baby trees and they already taste amazing!! We will definitely be coming back here for all of our plants! 😍

Cherry Valley Nursery is hands down the best nursery in the area! Today I spent two hours just roaming the grounds. Everything is in full bloom. The species and varieties available are diverse and plentiful. They're also extremely healthy! I purchased azaleas, camelias, bedding plants and potting soil. I wish my yard had room for more. All my previous purchases have done extremely well. Everyone at Cherry Valley Nursery is so helpful and courteous, too! It was such an enjoyable morning.

In the past couple years my husband and I have become obsessed with roses, and then we subsequently became obsessed with Cherry Valley Nursery! We have two homes with over 150 rose bushes, which meant MANY trips to this nursery to load up as we decide to enlarge our gardens over and over again. The amount of roses to choose from is staggering, all organized in alphabetical order which makes it easy to swoop in and find the exact one I'm looking for as I did today. There is a gentleman named Christopher that works there and is our Rose Guru; he knows the temperaments and qualities of every rose in the nursery which is very helpful as we decide which roses will be planted in the desert and which will be planted in the mountains. It is just a gorgeous place to walk around on a sunny day, with all the colorful flowers and little vignettes of ponds and decor smiling around you. The prices are very good, and right now they are having a buy 2, get 1 free for all roses!
