I used a corporate lawn service for years, and I was not happy with service or customer care. I found Southern Turf and it was exactly what I was looking for in a company. They take pride in their work. I am 100% happier with the service and customer care given. Not only do they treat your yard but the technician gave some great advice on ways to make the lawn look even better. Now I have the best lawn on the street and all my neighbors are asking who I use for lawn service.

Not too sure of a company that hits our lawn by mistake and is unwilling to provide written details of what was applied to our lawn or even an apology. They called back and seemed to laugh it off as the guys must of hit the wrong house again. Just waiting for lawn to either die or exhibit signs of over-fertilization.

Addition a week later, now seeing fertilizer burn spots in back and side yards with no response.

Andy was absolutely awesome!!! The weeds were already wilting the very next day. He took the time to explain everything.

I have used Fairway for 3 years. I spent thousands of $$ on Zoysia sod over the past 10 years. Last year my lawn was late coming in and I called Fairway thinking their warranty would cover whatever was needed. They charged me to treat what they said was a fungus. If my yard had a fungus it was from their equipment. I cut my own grass and my mower never leaves my yard. My Zoysia finally came in in July. The attached pictures are from today. This is much worse than last year. On top of this I got a bill for $300 of unauthorized treatments. I called to ask them to do something and was told that I need to rake the thatch up from the dead spots and it would come back. I did that 2 weeks ago right after I fired Fairway. Seems to me a warranty should cover something they would do to fix a problem. Also the round dead spot is where a technician spilled some chemicals. The manger said I didn’t have to worry about him anymore. Which leads me to wonder what else he did wrong to make my lawn look this way. We are trying to sell our house and I was counting on my great lawn to be a selling point.

Scott Meyers provided our lawn service 10 November 25. I watched him work from inside my house—he was diligent, attentive, and thorough throughout the entire treatment.

Just as impressive as his work in the yard was his post-treatment report. It’s the most detailed, complete and helpful after-action report I’ve seen from any service company. He clearly outlined his pre-treatment observations (including weed conditions), the actions he took, and the specific chemicals applied. He even reminded me to water the treatment within four days, a step I’ve learned really makes a difference.

I’ve been using Fairway Lawns for about three years now, and my grass looks excellent. Three of my neighbors have noticed the results and started routine service with Fairway as well.

Justin Hardy is amazing! He is so helpful and patient with all our questions. He also always takes time to be personal. We love him!!

Jeremy does a great job to prevent and treat weeds. He customizes the applications for what he sees. Doveweed is our major problem now, and I am hoping he will do a second preemergent, Specticle G, in mid April to suppress it.
