I LOVE Millcreek gardens. I grew up going here with my mother and grandmother so when I wanted to do some planting of my own, I thought of this place first. They have a great selection of plants at fairly reasonable prices. The staff is GREAT. When I was looking for ground cover for my front plant bed, a staff member spent at least 10 minutes with me giving me suggestions on what to buy. Would recommend to anyone who is interested in buying plants.

Very nice family run business, I was told they've been going close to 70 years. I dont know anything about gardening and the worker was extremely helpful in giving me tips on my roses. Tons of locally sourced decorations and plants.

Very beautiful place to go out and walk through, if you're lucky you may see one of the rabbits 🐇

Went to the event 10/25 and waited in like for about 30 mins because they woman at the front couldn’t figure out how to work the Square for payment… completely unorganized. We finally got through and they have trick or treat buckets out so we grabbed one and a ‘fragment’ which is a literal block of wood. Walked up to a stand where a man was playing possibly a pirate (?) and was holding a curtain and gave attitude when I didn’t walk up right in front of him when there was already a crowd formed saying ‘well I guess I’ll just hold this all day’. We walked through for about 5 more mins and picked up 3 more ‘fragments’ until we got to the end where we had to turn in the wood and the bucket…. The whole walk through of the place was probably less than the time we waited for the girl to figure out how to work the Square Payment. Also it’s 12.00 a person on Saturday but they charge tax and a ‘processing fee’ so my total for 2 people was 27.71. My mom paid cash for herself and it was 12.83, she gave them 13.00 and staff put it in their pocket and called it good…. Price was outrageous for what they offer and the staff was rude and condescending. I would not recommend or return here ever.

They had a huge selection. I was thrilled to find coral belles for my Mom. Have some beautiful, what look like, hand painted pots too.

I love the options they have along with the bunny and cat that live there! My only issue is how steep the prices are - I get that it’s a local business but the items are reallly marked up.

Update December 2023: The selection of live "Christmas" trees is astounding. My husband and I had a small space in front of our home that we wanted to transplant a tree after Christmas and we found the perfect plant, and Austrian pine that grows 15 ft high and not too wide. It is gorgeous. It was very hard to choose amongst the pines, Cypress, spruce, weeping, columnar, wide...etc! If only we had room for the majestic Sequoia!

The selection is great but what I like the most is the expertise. I've come in with a basic outline of a problem and have been consistently steered in the right direction with knowledgeable advice. The staff are patient beyond belief, wanting even the most obnoxious customer to have a good experience.

Plants and accessories are organized neatly, and you could spend all morning strolling through the trees, gardens, and house plants, imagining what your own garden could become.

I am at the cash register purchasing two shrubs that were $70 each. That's fine. I am excited about my purchase. THEN I am told I have to spend another $35 on root stimulator and acidic soil if I want the one-year return warranty in case the shrubs die. What BS!!!!
First, it is customary to get a one-year warranty at most gardening centers. Millcreek sells the root stimulator for $17. Ace sells the exact same product for $10. I don't know what the acidic soil cost was. Assuming it is overpriced.
Anyway, from now on I will make the trek to the West Jordan nursery where a warranty does NOT come with stipulations.
    Shame on you, Millcreek Gardens.

I cannot say enough good things about Millcreek Gardens. I took a bus an hour and a half to check out their selection, and met Kathy who was the best thing to happen to me all December. She answered all my questions, chatted with me, and took me around the lot telling me about what they had available. The plants clearly thrive under her care💕When she found I was struggling with money, she offered me a few plants for free, along with a beautiful rooted cutting she successfully propagated. It absolutely made my week, not just the plants but the staff and environment! Millcreek Gardens has everything you could ask for: stuff for gardens, terrariums, aquariums, birds, rare houseplants, exotic plant care, garden plants, absolutely everything. I can’t wait to go back!!

Millcreek Gardens is my favorite nursery. Prices are reasonable. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They have the best selection of plants, both flowers and veggies, in town. I love going there!

Forever such a valued resource for my spring experience. The staff is lovely and so helpful. The support and community feel of this organization has kept me coming back for 35 years. Always fun to shop and learn here.

The plants are overpriced and low quality. The grape bush I bought produced terrible fruit and then died. I had the same experience with the blueberries, goji berries, and others. Even Home Depot has better plants. I have spent hundreds of dollars here and have nothing to show for it. Literally any other place in the valley is better value.

I had seen a sign for $5 Annuals, I was intrigued to go in, look around and see what this nursery had to offer. It was definitely overwhelming in the best way possible, so much to look at, so many amazing plants, I had a budget and an idea of what I wanted my park strip to look like, a worker named Mia helped me conceptualize the vision! I was so grateful, I live in Grantsville and I do not mind the drive. I do think some things are a little overpriced but the variety they offer, it seems fitting. I absolutely love Millcreek Gardens, and I’ll 100% make the recommendation! Thank you!

I visited Millcreek Gardens for the first time yesterday-what a gem! The staff were welcoming to our fur family and very helpful with our specific needs. Despite the checkout line being intimidatingly long, the line moved fast and the staff were upbeat and friendly. The experience was top notch start to finish. Thank you Millcreek Gardens-excited to work on my new garden project!

Alejandri was very professional, got me on the schedule that same afternoon, and was extremely responsive via text. He did an estimate for aeration using Google maps, since I didn’t know how many acres our yard was. They were great. I will use them again for other lawn services!
