This company serviced our accounts without our consent. They had addresses from last season’s treatment and after calling us multiple times asking to spray for weed treatment, we responded by saying NO. They did it anyway and we were unpleasantly surprised with a bill from multiple different properties they sprayed. Nature’s Care Lawn and Tree lacks communication and professionalism.

Don’t even waste your time. Will had me send a deposit and give me the run around for over a month. I contacted him multiple times to set up a start date and he refused to answer. Then got an attitude when I asked for my deposit back. Glad I never moved forward with this company. I would highly recommend taking your business some where else.

Don’t use this lawn company.
This company treated our lawn well, no complaints there.
But we moved out of state in April, I wrote the owner, and called stating we were moving and canceled the service.
I am just now receiving a bill (January) for 3 services done after our move. And that the bill is going to collections.
I keep calling and nobody will respond to me. I don’t know what to do.

This company is very unorganized. I regret using then.

I had a property that I only needed one treatment from them because I had emergency surgery I usually do my own lawn treatment they came a 2nd time without scheduling or anything but when they sent you an invoice for payment it says in the middle of the invoice where the crease is says you automatically get enrolled in reoccurring services I wrote them a letter to cancel and paid even though I shouldn't have for the 2nd treatment because they didnt disclose that I thought it was an honest mistake they didnt come for the rest of the year thankfully. I called the next year JUST for an areation ONLY they told me about $70 over the phone then I get a bill for $640.00 I called it took forever to get a response back and mark said he'd look into it said it was a mistake I only sent the money for the areation but a few months go by and I show up to do my own lawn care at my own rental property and natures lawn sign was in the yard again! NO CALL NO PERMISSION! The last thing I only and ever needed from them was an areation how does that automatically get me signed up for them to come whenever they want and just fertilize? I called every day for like a month left messages with the person whom answered their phone each time and still haven't gotten a call back so I dropped it then July 10th 2024 they fertilized again without concent! Not only did I try to contact them from their website I went to the address listed on the website the surrounding companies have said that they've moved months ago! they did not answer or call back and the address on the website hasn't been updated and the only address on the invoice is a P.O. box DONT NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY DO NOT HAVE THEIR HEAD ON RIGHT OR THEIR STUFF TOGETHER SO UNPROFESSIONAL SCAMMY UNORGANIZED ETC.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. Someone aggressively came into my yard through my gate and serviced us when we never signed up for a recurring service. Their phone number doesn't even work and I am trying to cancel and unwilling to pay for a service that was forced on me. I am contacting the BBB and reporting them since there is no way to get ahold of the company and they keep coming out.

Negative 10 Stars* Oh just wait for the grand finale of this review! I asked them to only come on Monday's especially for the 1st visit so my husband and I could ask our questions and have a consultation. They came on the Friday before instead without a call or text. I came home to papers they left on my door, so I called and asked what services they did on my lawn. The lady I spoke to said they treated my front lawn for weeds. They were only supposed to treat my backyard btw. Later in the day I realize they stuck one of their TruGreen flag things in my backyard. I thought okay great, they treated the backyard. EXCEPT they sprayed while my puppy was back there AND they didn't close the side gate so my dog RAN AWAY! I'm grateful some kids in the neighborhood found her and knew where she lived and put her back in my yard. But I'm very upset with every aspect of their service. 10 out of 10 I do not recommend TruGreen. There response was a poor I'm sorry and tried to convince me to keep my account with them. Yeah, absolutely not.

I paid a lot of money for this service and I'm not impressed. After a really bad weed spring the treatment didn't seem to kill any weeds. I got online a few weeks later to request another treatment (part of their plan) and no one ever showed up on the scheduled day so I ended up buying my own weed spray and doing it myself. A mosquito treatment was scheduled for a certain day but no time. The guy showed up at like 6:30 am. I don't get up that early so he just left. The fertilizer seems to be ok. I won't be using them next year and after this review (3 texts begging for a review, another bummer) I'm not expecting anything good for my future treatments which include a de-thatching and over seeding, which I really need. So truGreen...be careful what you beg for. One text would be plenty but three got you this one star review, zero wasn't an option.

I just have to assume that they did a good job - it seems that everyone that comes to do an application is here less than 5 minutes - I am hoping for the high cost that I am paying - that he did a thorough job. One complaint that I have is that while applying the insect application for trees and shrubs they coated my outside windows - I am thinking that this is going to be difficult to get off my windows. On another note - every year I call and talk to the guys making the application about crab grass in my lawn - I am always assured that what they are applying to the lawn will eliminate the crab grass - it has not made a dent in all the crab grass in my lawn - in areas of my yard I have a lot more crab grass than lawn - I would like to know what you could do the get rid of this noxious weed?

Our lawn had some spots that needed a little help and we had some morning glory start coming up. We decided why not bring in the professionals and really wish we hadn't. We had consistent issues with applications being done at the wrong house, got billed for additional services that they just added on, and I had to call multiple times to get them to cancel my account(the person that finally processed the cancellation was the only helpful person I ever talked to).

After a year of service my lawn looks worse than ever. I should've just spent my own time to do things properly.

Wish I listened to the comments. Every single time they came more weeds would come out. We tested a side where we didn't want them to spray and see the difference of what we did and what their service provided. Our side killed the weeds and never grew back, despite putting fertilizer. Because their whole reasoning is that the fertilizer brings out weeds and that's why they wouldn't die. Idk but it didn't work for us and canceled before they took more money.

The service person was great but I am disappointed in the results of my lawn. I water every other day for 30 minutes per station starting at 7pm (8) stations but it does not appear to green up or grow very much. I had netyer results dou g it myself using 4 step IFA and an extra shot of Nitrogen in Late June. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We purchased a year long contract because we just put in new sod and wanted to keep it weed free. I called numerous times last year to come respray as there was a difference grass of some kind growing. I hired Tru Green beat wanted a grass expert to help me. They did respray but never diagnosed my grass with quack grass had we caught it last year when i first asked them to come back it would not have spread to my whole lawn. Even after calling them back this year, they never said anything. This year our grass was the worst looking lawn in the neighborhood so we needed up buying our own fertilizer to green it up.I am so dissatisfied and sad they let my new lawn be over run with a horrible weed. $350 down the drain.

Ian was great! Came to my door to let me know he was there and was very friendly. He was great letting me know the service he’ll be doing today and was very quick and professional. I’ve loved working with these guys so far.

I had a contract last year with TruGreen, but the chemicals involved troubled me
I did not contract with them for 2025, but they still come out and bill me anyway. I never want to see them on my lawn again! What do I have to do? I can't even fight with them because they sneak in, do part of my lawn, and sneak back out. I feel violated!

The technicians are always nice & do a great job, we appreciate your service

TLDR: Don't sign up unless you want to spent hundreds of dollars to be spammed and gaslit.

I really hope that someone at TruGreen sees this. But if you're considering using their service this is your warning to look elsewhere. I paid for a seasons worth of weed control and grass fertilization and all I got were headaches.
1. once you sign up you get spam calls non stop
2. If the product isn't working they just make up reasons and try to upsell you on other products. They straight up lied to me and said I had aphids in my tree but had no proof and when I called them on it they changed their story.
3. If the product doesn't work they make you chase them to get someone back out to spray but it does absolutely nothing for your lawn.
4. I also feel like I am now seeing weeds that I wasn't seeing before but somehow they introduced.

I gave them a whole season to make this right before I was going to write this but April through October did absolutely nothing except waste almost $500. Do not trust this company and if you hear anyone saying they are considering it tell them to explore their options because this company is absolutely horrible and do nothing for their customers. Never before have I been so disappointed and frustrated with a product.

After my visit today on July 28, I’ve changed my star to reflect five stars. This was changed because of the gentleman they sent out to my home to evaluate my lawn and explain what was going on. The amount of customer service he showed me was enough to keep me as a customer. I believe his name is Adam and if I’m correct, thank you very much, Adam.

This application was a redo application after the previous applications did not cure a spotty lawn and broadleaf weeds. I will have to wait and see how the redo comes out in a week or two. TruGreen was responsive in sending an agent to redo the lawn and weed control.

TruGreen does what they say they will. They kept me updated on where the technician was and the approximate time he would be at my home so I could make sure our rabbit was going to be safe while they sprayed. After finishing they let me know so I could let the rabbit back in her cage and she wouldn’t have any harmful fumes. The product is amazing and within 24 hours the weeds had started to wilt and die.
TruGreen goes above and beyond in todays world honesty is rare and we are glad to find a company who has old fashioned values

I am very pleased with my TruGreen lawn. Rick does a great job and keeps me informed of what my lawn needs to make it even better. We are working on the infested spot in the left center, meanwhile the rest looks great.

Came to my door to inform me he was spraying today even though it had rained and is to continue to rain . I went to lock my gates and South side gate was wide open glad I had gone and checked or my dog would of taken off .He (my dog) not aloud in the front yard for fear he will run away. So far happy with my service.
