Michael was fantastic! He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns, and explained everything in a way I could understand ! He had a rough day as his truck broke down, and he apologized for not getting here sooner, yet he was still very pleasant, and courteous even after sitting in a hot truck for 2 1/2 hours! I really appreciated his information, his help and advice. He is a great Representative for tru green!

ZERO stars! I had a lawn tech (Ben T) show up to do a service on my lawn and I was in my backyard. It was raining so I assumed when I saw him on my ring camera that he would reschedule. Instead he went across my lawn (less than 30 seconds) and then stuck a notification on my lawn saying it was serviced, emailed me a notification that my entire lawn was serviced and drove off!!! The work receipt even claims he used 13 pounds of fertilizer on 4300 square feet of lawn. We have been a long time customer of TruGreen and I am disappointed in the dishonesty of one of their employees. I will be taking my business elsewhere.

My wife hired TruGreen to take care of our crabgrass. The salesman said they would come out in a few days and put down a pre-emergent. TRUGREEN DID NOT SHOW UP! They came out a month or so later, too late to lay down the pre-emergent, and skipped that step. She complained several times wanting to cancel the contract (since they didn't deliver as promised) and get our money back, instead they came out and used a GRASS KILLER on the lawn. I now have large sections of dead lawn. WE WILL NEVER HIRE THEM AGAIN.

Our yard has been a constant frustration since moving into our home in Saratoga. The dirty lake water and the mountain behind our home continues to cause multiple weeds in our yard. We added a $2000 filter and tried to fertilize on our own without any success. Finally at wits end I hired Truegreen. I won’t say the weeds are 100% gone but they are about 95% and the grass is healthier and softer.

After having a contract with Trugreen since the wintertime, it is now July 23, 2021 and our lawn has never had more weeds. Trugreen has not been out to perform service since the first week of June. Half our yard is full of clover weeds. DO NOT USE TRUGREEN

Awful awful awful I signed up for yard and mosquito treatment and my yard has never looked so bad. I have 6 dead spots and the mosquitos are worse than ever. When i called they said I should've called to set up a re treatment, no yall should use quality product so I don't have to call to tell you that my yard looks awful. Biggest waste of money

The name should be more like tru YELLOW, not only can they not get rid of a few weeds but will actually turn your grass from green to yellow. We gave them 3 months to make the lawn look better but actually don’t think this location has competent lawn experts. We had them come out And access the lawn several times but with every one of the applications it lawn got more weeds. Tech was super nice and knowledgeable , very respectful of the property , moved all furniture that was in the way and put it back. Finished the service in a timely manner and was very profesional

Their service seems okay so far. They spam you via text and email soliciting feedback and comments, so here I am to say I have better things to do than engage in multiple duplicate methods of providing and managing messages that I am now inclined to ignore and delete.
One of their competitors just came by seeking my business just after they provided their pest service, and pointed out multiple wasp and spider nests in my windows that were missed. To their credit they have rescheduled a return visit.
I tried communicating this last problem via their chat service in their app. The app terminated my session while I was typing in my problem immediately after noting that I was still typing my comment in.

So far things are great but this is only my second treatment with this company. I do feel there are to many surveys to fill out!

Ian knocked on our door when he came. He quickly went to work. He left a sign when he was finished. Ian is a good worker. Brad was in the Army for 20 years. We have never received a discount. Is it possible to receive a military discount. We would appreciate knowing when the next service will be done

My Lawn has never looked better. I like true Green- Reading all the other reviews wow I don’t get any of that… My lawn looks fantastic. They’re always kind polite courteous. They do what I ask.- Great, great great !!!

It looks like a good job! But we will have to let the lawn tell the story that's not going to happen right now! They did just what I ask and put a little more seed in the bald spots and did a fair clean up

I am only rating this a one star because I can't give them zero stars... This company is a JOKE. My husband called them in March after getting a flyer in the mail advertising 50% off of their normal prices if you call that month. We needed some help with our lawn (too many weeds, it was growing too thin, we wondered if we had bugs?), so we thought it would be a good idea. When my husband called, he was told that they would come out once a month for the next six months to apply certain chemicals and fertilizer to the lawn to help it grown more healthily. This sounded great! The downside... 50% of the regular price was $392.62!!! That was crazy! We paid it, hoping for the best, but we have had no great results to show for it. I am attaching a picture of my lawn in August (so four months into this process). Note the lack of grass (dead grass) and the weeds/flowers in my lawn.

A couple other things... They never came on their own. In order to get them to come monthly, we had to instigate the visit EVERY TIME. And they have no customer service phone number, so you have to wait to chat with them within the app, and there were multiple times where their office closed while we were in the queue to chat with someone, so we were dropped from the queue and had to start again another day.

The first time they came out, we wanted to talk to them about their plans, what they were going to do, etc., so we wanted to be home when they came. They never called to arrange a time, so when they showed up, I saw them outside and went outside to chat with them. When I went outside, the worker was fertilizing my lawn with one hand, while smoking a cigarette with the other. When he saw me coming, he threw his cigarette ON MY LAWN, and stomped on it to put it out. I'm sure that definitely helped my lawn's health.

Bottom line- they came out six times, once each month, which I had to initiate, with really no change from what my yard looked like last summer. Really all they did was fertilize for me each month for nearly $400. SAVE YOURSELF $400 AND GO TO IFA AND BUY YOUR OWN FERTILIZER!

I hired Trugreen early last year to treat my lawn for weeds. After the first two treatments everything went well. They would provide updates about what they did and after a week or so the weeds went away.

After that though, I would get charged for the normal service but the updates on the treatment stopped coming and the weeds came back with a vengeance. It legitimately seemed like they never actually came but continued to charge for my subscription. I finally cut my loses and decided to cancel. Since they only let you cancel over the phone I would call and the call would get suspiciously dropped before I could ever connect to someone after following the prompt to cancel.

Once I got ahold of someone they were polite and helpful and I cancelled my account on 8/8. Trugreen has called me at least twice a day every day since. It's very annoying. They are acting like a clingy ex-girlfriend who can't just let go.

Have you ever wondered, is trugreen a good company and can take something off my plate with weeds on my lawn care? Well, that's what I thought and was hoping for. I'm here to tell you that they don't. This company is just a giant headache and does not take care of your lawn. I'm pretty sure they just come out and stick the sign in your yard and leave. Getting them to come back out to try again, don't even waste your time. I definitely would not use this company ever again, even if they paid me to use them. My entire lawn looks like these two pictures.🤦‍♂️

I prepaid for a full year of TruGreen lawn services, and after all that time, my lawn looks no better than when I was maintaining it myself. It’s still yellow, full of weeds, and has grub issues that should have been addressed. While TruGreen was consistent in notifying me when a technician was scheduled, the actual service visits felt rushed and ineffective. Overall, I’m very disappointed and cannot recommend TruGreen based on my experience.

Hired them to take care of our lawn while my husband was undergoing cancer treatment. The lawn was just getting worse and worse each month so we finally waited and watched during the visit, which they’d always do very early in the morning, and caught the guy sitting in his car doing nothing for 20 min during the time he was supposed to be treating the lawn. Turns out they’d treated our lawn once or twice and were just sitting in their cars, then marking the visit complete, all the other times. Thankfully a manager refunded us, but because they destroyed our lawn (reseeded with crab grass, caused weed growth, and let the rest die) it’s never been the same since. It’s been a pain to deal with. I wish I never would’ve hired TruGreen and truly feel scammed.

Adam the manager was great. Communicated and followed up in timely. Manner I had problems in the past with true green and was planning on canceling my service until Adam got involved.

They billed my credit card for a full year in advance. I don’t know anyone who gets paid a year in advance. Do you ? rather than the single treatment. I didn’t agree to that. On the upper part, Ian was a great guy very friendly. Very told me what he was gonna do and got right to work.

I don’t know what has happened but this company has changed. I have been billed for services that have not been provided. I specifically signed up for grub and weed control. My lawn is full of weeds and moths. They always send someone out to treat again if I call and complain but I have to walk the yard with them and point out the weeds. They also advertised they will treat crabgrass but when the technician comes he says they don’t have anything that is effective against crabgrass .
