Great selection of plants. Some good prices if you shop carefully. We shopped in early spring and on a Saturday so it was packed. We still enjoyed the experience.

If you're in the plants or gardening this is the place you've got to come to. The staff is extremely knowledgeable friendly and helpful. They have about every plant that you could possibly imagine and all the supporting accessories. During the holidays as you can see my pictures they go all out into Christmas. They also have a large assortment of yard products. Such as Mulch and Stone Products. They have a full-service florist on hand for all your needs.

Strange's has been our go-to shop for many years and without disappointment. They always have a great variety of flower and vegetable plants at very reasonable prices. The collection of earthen pots is unique and something that keeps refreshing year over year making it a perfect companion to purchase along with plants when expanding the collection. The plants they sell are healthy to survive the transplanting and new environment but just in case they don't you can return them within 30 days with a receipt (although never ever had to do that yet). Would recommend to anyone to visit them and have a look.

When I went to the hospital today to visit a close friend, I was so very excited to see the beautiful flower delivery from Stranges that I had ordered this week for her! The pink roses were so big and full and fragrant, and the greenery and the vase and the balloon were just PERFECT! She was so excited to get the flowers, and she was so pleased to have everyone comment on just how WONDERFUL they looked! Stranges is my go to for all of my flower deliveries, and I enjoy buying plants and flowers at their fabulous greenhouse several times a month! Special Thanks to Will, Jeanne, Ann, Cindy, Melissa, Angel and all of the fine folks at Stranges at Short Pump! This review is longggg overdue. I purchased an arrangement for my parent's anniversary in December- the delivery date ended up being a fairly cold day. My parents were 15 minutes from the house when Katie called saying she was almost there to deliver the flowers. Even though my parents told Katie it would be okay to drop them off on the doorstep because they weren't too far from the house, Katie said she would come back the next day instead so the flowers would not be damaged from the weather. She continued to coordinate with my mom for the delivery. The flowers turned out so beautiful.
Strange's has been my go-to for sending flowers to my parents for years now, and this experience solidified why.

I love Strange’s, NOT the pests that came from their tomatoes. I have been gardening for 12+ years and I’ve never had a problem with pests in my garden. I’ve also always grown from seeds or purchased from Lowe’s. The one year I decide to “cheat” and buy from Strange’s is the year I have a god-awful hornworm problem. The plants then suddenly turned yellow and died all at once. I’d never seen anything like it. The flowers did well. And the price was unbeatable. But if you buy vegetables this season, CHECK THEM THOROUGHLY before buying. You just may invite a pest in.

I came to Strange’s initially to find flowers for a birthday. I was delighted to find out that they also sell mylar and latex balloons. Megan was extremely helpful and so kind. She made me feel at ease ordering these balloons on demand. I was also delighted to see that their store had greeting cards as well. It was truly a one stop shop. I was grateful that Megan was patient and able to assist me. I will definitely return for future celebrations!

Always a great experience here, and they are always helpful.

When I asked a staff member where I could find a certain gardening product, she looked it up on her phone and told me where to find it. She did not go and show me where it was though. That would have been helpful since her directions were a bit confusing to me. She was at the cash register and possibly could not have been able to leave her post there.
