Love this place! Staff is friendly and informative. On a nice day, it is so nice to stroll through and look at all the lovely plants. Also, they have a wonderful selection AND stock some unique plants that can’t be found elsewhere locally. They have beautiful indoor plants and potting supplies, as well as the biggest variety of planters that I’ve seen anywhere around. Keep up the good work!

James was very approachable. He was knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I have asked him to help me out with my wife’s plants while she is out of pocket. He has been a blessing.

Evelyn always tries to think of ways to help with my yard problems. Just like a cassia tree she suggested to me. I believe it will help my yard and give me much needed shade and in a short period of time. She is very sweet and knowledgeable.

Very nice nursery. Good selection of small potted plants and flowers. Can't speak to pricing as I didn't do much comparison shopping. Many of the staff currently seem to be inexperienced, but they do their best to help, or call over someone who can.

The plants all appeared healthy and well taken care of. Not a lot of tree selection that I saw.

If you're in the market for plants, I would recommend checking out the place.

Evelyn has consistently been one of the best employees I’ve ever known Louisiana Nursery to have. She is always extremely helpful, very knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond. Not only does she show customers where things are located, she gives plant care information and other recommendations based on the “vision” you have for your landscape. Evelyn is always smiling, brightens your day, and makes shopping at the center that much more rewarding. She is phenomenal! It’s great to see her here in Prairieville for another year!

JessicaRea gave me some great instructions on how to try and get my shrubs to spring back from being depleted from this past summer. Everyone is very nice and help throughout the store. There is a variety of selection and quality products available.

Always love stopping by on my way to an appointment every other Tuesday. James was very nice and thoughtful, helping me pick out a few more plants. Mentioned a particular plant I was looking for and he found it for me right away. We had a really nice discussion on the care of the plant and loved talking to him about our mutual love of plants!

So I use to love this place. So much I decided to work there! After a couple of months my grandfather became terminally ill and it obviously affected my work ethic. That being said, I found it very cruel that they fired someone a day after their grandfathers funeral. After that I continued going there only because they had a first responder discount. I thought heck yes! One business giving ems discounts! I’ll go there. Well, every time I went they never seemed to know that they had it, asked and I got it. Well, today I went, got my usual and went to check out. First, the lady at the register was very rude, she stated how bad that she WAS going to go to the bathroom, I understood the frustration and made sure I had my badge out to make everything quicker. She didn’t even acknowledge it and rang me up. I asked if she added it trying to be nice and not annoy her further. She then walked around asking everyone if they did an ems discount. After her manager said no which was odd since last time I went, I believe less then a month ago, they did. I checked out and left. Last time I’ll go there.

My first visit to the Louisiana Nursery for Ladies' Night Out was fantastic. I adore this community event; the generosity with free drinks and food made it stand out. The organization was impeccable, featuring incredible vendors. The staff, particularly Ashley, was exceptionally welcoming and kind, adding a personal touch to our experience.

The variety of plants was extensive, and all were in excellent health with competitive prices. Ample parking at this location makes it convenient. Without a doubt, I'll be returning for another visit!

Have been many times and it’s consistent that I buy more than I came for because they have a great selection of items even beyond plants. Ceramics, soil, gardening accessories, etc. highly recommend. If you don’t know where something is ask, the employees are so nice and willing to help out!

The staff is polite and knowledgeable. Great variety of plants to choose from. Bulk material purchase was quick and easy.

Had a little time to spend 11-4-23 so I stopped in at Louisiana Nursery in Prairieville. While there, Evelyn Clark asked if I needed any assistance. At first, I told her no and just roamed around. I watched as she interacted with other customers and soon realized she was knowledgeable and not forcing anything onto customers. ( I hate pushy salespeople especially when I really have no knowledge of what I looking for. They can make you feel uncomfortable and turn the experience negatively quick)
She seemed polite and cordial so I decided to ask her a few questions about plants for a small area at the end of my driveway. She asked all the questions I didn’t know to ask. Such as, how much light the area gets, how often would we be watering and so on.
She suggested several specimens and explained in layman’s terms what to expect regarding care and outcomes from each plant. I didn’t purchase anything but will return.
If you’re looking for a knowledgeable person to help you pick out some plants or, I’m sure she could help with care, information on current plants, do yourself a favor and search her out. You won’t be disappointed and she may teach you a few things.
Great experience at the nursery and will definitely return.

Lovely store, has everything in it, friendly staff, good range of prices!

I love them however for example their Albelia is $39.99. Same Abelia Kaleidescope at Home Depot is $24.98. They can do better on the pricing.

Very overpriced it’s ridiculous and they put the worst possible sticker on a pot I bought as a gift. The sticker won’t come off and is leaving behind glue. How frustrating as I paid $50 dollars for it while it was ON CLEARANCE.

I know absolutely nothing about plants. Nothing. If it doesn’t bark or cry, it’s probably gonna die in my house. The wealth of knowledge that I just left with after working with Beth is invaluable. I’m so excited for our new project. She listened to my needs and helped me stay in a reasonable budget. I’ll be back in a couple of weeks :)

Everyone is nice and helpful. Plants are beautiful. I have never been disappointed in anything I have gotten there. My best friend comes in from Hammond and she always wants to go there. And she is picky. It is a little higher than a chain hardware store. But , well worth it!!
