As an inexperienced pond owner, I am very grateful for the knowledge Dan shared with me this morning when I went in to find maintenance products for my pond. I came away with everything I needed and am happy with the price I paid.

I went in to buy two adult feeder mice on October 13th Wednesday and when I asked the lady working the reptile station if I could have two adult mice she then said “there’s only one you want it or not” then proceeded to be very rude n disrespectful about how she went about asking if I wanted it.. it was ridiculous and made me never wanna step foot in a Zamzows because of that disrespect and hostility. This occurrence was at 3:05

The lady who runs the fish section really needs to be fired i came in a couple time last year and she would never sell fish to me even though I've been in the hobby for almost 7 years. She always claimed they were under "observation" she would tell me to come back on on a certain day and I would come back and they would still be under "observation". I Finally stopped going I returned on the 29th and just walked in the fish room and she said SIR DONT STEP ON THE HOSE I wasn't even near the hose I just ok and continued to look I saw what I needed asked her if I could get 2 guppies and she said their under "observation" so I left and was checking out and a little girl walks up to me

As soon as I walked in someone greeted me and helped me out with my questions. Great selection, great people. I guess that's why nobody knows like Zamzows.

I've never taken the time to write a review before... But, today I had an AWESOME experience at the Zamzow's right next to where I work. I've used many Zamzow's products in the past and always am greeted with a nice knowledgeable person at all Zamzow's I've ever been at & I love all the products I've used. I had what I thought were spider mites on my house plants- Which came from one single plant I bought at Walmart a few months ago- They spread like wildfire from plant to plant- DON"T ever get plants there! Anyway, I thought they were spider mites.. When I went to Zamzow's a few weeks ago I got a spray to kill them, which when it didn't work, I went to see if there was something else today. The nice lady at the Overland/Eagle store mentioned it could be another type of bug and actually showed me one from a plant that had been outside.. IT was the same bug I have on my plants which would explain why the 1st product I bought didn't work. She took the time to read directions of the product and how to use it and was just so considerate and nice. Also, since some of my plants have died from this horrible white bug- I forgot the name already... But, I bought another cute plant from Zamzow's , they're plants are always great!

Organized store. Not sure how good their lawn fertilization program is though based on results over past 8 years compared with using non-organic fertilizer.

Ferrets are pretty neglected. Improper bedding, low almost empty water, no food available, poo filled food bowl and overly dirty litter box. Employees were friendly though.

The pet room people are not helpful. I was chastised for having a 10 gal tank and too many fish even though I've been running it for 5+ years with no issues. One guy tried to sell me an assassin snail and said it was the same as a zebra snail. DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME. Their RO (reverse osmosis) water kills fish because they don't change the filters on their tank and then sell the water as RO when it really hasn't been filtered properly. Overall the pet room people are unhelpful and judgmental. Save a trip and go to another Zamzows or an actual fish store like Aquariums and Stuff.

I’m just a little disappointed, I purchased 2 female rats almost 3 weeks ago now and have been a rat owner many times. I have never dealt with a rat so unsocialized and fear biting every time we go to even pet her. I usually go to the Zamzows on fairview but figured they all purchase their rats from the same breeder, as I was told. The way one of the employees handled the rats was just a huge no! I understand needing to catch them to take them home but forcefully grabbing one like a claw is a huge no. I should have known right then and there it would be a problem. The smaller of the two rats is starting to warm up, more curious but the (I’m assuming) older one hides, fear bites (not hard enough to draw blood), looks terrified every time we even come in the room. I have never dealt with this behavior and I’ve had plenty of feeder rats as pets more socialized. Handle your rats with care and I hope you are getting them from a breeder who is handling them from birth as it should be and not a huge corporation.

Giving 3 stars because Christine actually helped me while Jodi basically directed me to the back of the line after waiting 20 minutes to ask someone for help in the soil section. I was told she had to help everyone in line behind me before she could answer my one question.

Asked too many times if I needed help ( total of 6 times & by same people ). I like that they carry freeze dried dog treats that are sourced and manufactured in the USA. Nice that now carry Primal, raw frozen canine food.

The prices are high but the products are great especially the dog food. My dog's coat is noticeably shinier after using the grandma z's food. The staff has always curteous and helpful.

Great customer service, it may be more expensive, but it's always been quality lawn and garden care. I have come here for grass seed to start a lawn and lawn care, other cheaper big box stores and name brands will work, but zamzows just looks and work much better. I don't have to do as many applications for seeding or weeding.

Love the lawn feed program. It's easy, and convenient.

My family loves Zamzows and this is our preferred location. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and have helped us troubleshoot issues with our lawn and garden. Their lawn program, while it seems expensive, is great and pet/kid safe. Their Grandma Z's dog food has been our chosen brand for years now.

I have three dogs and have been a long time customer. I go out of my way to buy food, leashes, beds, toys, and treats there. I feed Taste of the Wild and 2 weeks ago went in to the Overland store for a 30 lb. bag and they were sold out. No big deal, I just grabbed a 15 pound bag and went on my way. This week I went in for a 30 and they were out again. I asked if they were having problems getting the 30s and he said they could take my number and call me when they were back in stock. Well, my dogs were almost out and I could not wait, so I asked if I could buy 2 of the smaller bags for the 30 lb. price. They called "Scott" who I assume is a manager out, and he said "No, I cant do that. We would loose money." Which is a lie. Well, guess what? D&B Supply has is for less than what Zamzows sells it for and it is right on my way home for work. Instead of losing a few dollars in profit, you just lost a customer for life. I was so disappointed, I called headquarters that day, left a voicemail and never heard back. Shows how much they care about customer service....

They have some of the best prices in the area. Amazing, wonderful, helpful and kind staff (I go in every 3 days for crickets), and they have 2 black cats who are incredibly cute, even though one of them is a cute little pisspot and gets overstimulated with a couple of pets. Always getting new and cute critters too!

Austin was incredible! I have an extremely picky 10 month old golden retriever puppy and we are trying to find a food she will eat. Austin spent atleast 20 minutes with me, answering my questions and giving me advice. Austin is an incredible employee and obviously has a passion for his job, customers and most importantly animals! Thank you Austin 💗

Carrie is the best! She gave us some great recommendations and made shopping here fun! The store is clean and well laid out and very dog friendly.

Great supply of indoor plants. Love all the toys for pets! Definitely could use som help in the fish department
