We were excited when first talking to this company. They gave my husband an approximate date when they would be out to give an estimate. They didn’t show up. He called them again. Still, didn’t show up. He called again and was told that the area manager would give him a call the same day. No, that didn’t happen either. Apparently this company doesn’t need any more customers. If you’re looking for horrible customer service, be sure to give Weed Man Lawn Care a call. 👎

Initial call the lady told me it would be $120.00 for yard fertilizer and full property weed spray.
I called to postpone, and two weeks later, they just showed up with no apt made. Come to find out, the $120 was only for just the yard with an extra big amount for the rest. What was meant to be $120 is ending up to almost $300.

The guys who came were nice though.

Update: in response to your comment- id love tp hear the recording because I would not of signed up for anything costing almost $300.00 each trip, thats insane.
After reading the other 1 star reviews it seems I am not the only person that you have had communication issues with.
On top of the pricing, I asked you guys to wait for me to call to schedule...I never did and your company texted me at 10pm the night prior.

Austin (Rood) was our technician today…he was polite, efficient, on time…and offered to combine some services to save us time in the future. All that, plus no more weeds! Awesome!

I’ve tried to pay these people multiple times to spray my weeds in my lawn and today is the 4th time the tech had an “issue” and had to reschedule. What a joke this place is. Each time I have been on the schedule I take time off work to ensure my dogs don’t get in the way and they never show up. Looking for a new service now.

Don’t waste your money! I don’t know what has happened to this company, but I have been using them for over a year so you would think that by now my yard would be in pristine condition. However, it looks worse than it has ever looked since I’ve owned my home.
I was told that they will come out and do a re-application if you have weeds come up within the first 30 days. So I called them at 28 days because there was one side of my front yard that was completely covered in weeds already. I was told That they would have somebody out the next week. Two weeks later and I hadn’t heard from or seen anyone so I contacted them again. I was advised that someone would be out the following Tuesday. Nobody ever showed up. I called on Thursday and was told that they would get to management and call me back. Nobody bothered to call me back. I called on Friday and nobody bothered to call me back. Meanwhile, their sales reps have called me three or four times to try to sell me other services, which is a complete joke. Who would buy more services when you can’t correctly or promptly complete the ones already paid for??? I am also not usually one to post a review like this, but this situation feels like it should be acknowledged. I am having my wedding reception here in two weeks and my yard looks like trash. It looked better when I just used weed and feed twice a year.

Weed Man has consistently delivered a high quality lawn on my property year after year. I've had neighbors come to me and ask how I keep my lawn looking so great. They do an amazing job.

We decided this year that we would like a little help with the weed control with our yard. Unfortunately, these guys don't seem to do the trick. We recently obtained some rocks for our front yard and they came with free goat heads and cockleburs! Yay! We were told by weed man representatives that they could get rid of these. Well, after only $400'ish and 2 visits, goat heads have taken over about a quarter of the front yard. I certainly don't remember paying extra to have a flourish of goat heads but that's what I have gotten. They seem annoyed when contacted about the situation and don't seem to mind ignoring the requests my husband has made to have the weeds sprayed again. I don't recommend these guys. Find a better lawn pro service!

I have used Weed Man for over 15 years. They have always helped me keep my lawn looking park-like. I will be more than happy to change this review if something is rectified in a fair way. Before this, I could have easily given a 5 star rating. Upon last application, the tech fried several spots in my lawn with fertilizer. It went from gorgeous to a major eye sore shortly after. A supervisor was supposed to have been calling/scheduling to come out and figure out a plan to remedy this, however after multiple calls I haven't heard anything. This is definitely going to affect my continuation and referrals (which I have given so many) if this doesn't get attention to.

As promised, I'm adjusting this review. Thus far, Weed Man is making every effort and compensation with services. Very pleased with this. It will take some time for results to show, but I know it can return to the usual beautiful shape their services have always provided.

A few weeks later, and my lawn looks great again. Thank you!

After dealing with a grub and crabgrass issue after the fertilizer issue, I can no longer support this company and their services. Many chances later and my lawn is looking bad again. On the last visit, the tech evaluated the lawn while I was present and confirmed the crabgrass would be treated. It got worse, so I requested another treatment. No one showed. After a phone message with no return response, and trying to be fair and maintain longevity with a company after 15 years, it is time to opt out. I would much appreciate Weed Man obliging to the already paid fees through December.

We absolutely love WeedMan! Our yard has looked horrible the past few years and we were in desperate need of help! We didn’t end up signing with Weed Man until later in the year and they still saved our yard! It looks sooooo much better and we get compliments on it all the time!! I’m amazed at how quickly they turned our yard around! They are wonderful to work with and we plan on using them every year now! Thank you for saving our yard!

I had a lot of uncontrollable weeds in my lawn when I bought my house a few years ago and DYI weed control was not doing the trick. Weed Man got it under control in one season, so I keep using them and my lawn is healthy and beautiful now. Neighbors regularly compliment how nice my lawn/yard look. I am very pleased with them!

Absolutely blown away by the service. Great customer care. Very efficient, super respectful. We’ve had great crews come out and take care of us. My man, Austin Rod, took care of us this year. Very grateful to have someone that actually CARES about the yard. Very happy with the work you guys do. We appreciate you!

This is our first year with weed man and it has been a remarkably good experience. Our lawn is looking so much better and with the reseeding we are seeing even more of an improvement in our lawn. Henry has been great at taking the time to explain about what is happening and what he would recommend. Couldn’t be happier with the services we’ve received. Thank you!

Avoid these thieves.
I called to set up service with Weedman(the must be high) lawn care in Meridian ID. Weed and fertilizer for my lawn. Weed control for my landscaping/hard scape. I asked to talk to the technician prior to the first application so I could go over my areas of concern. A week later, I still had not received a call or text of when my first application was going to be. I called back and had to tell them again, that I wanted to go over my areas of concern when the tech came prior to the first application.
A few days later I met with the technician (there were 2 of them) and went over the areas in my landscaping that needed to be address. Some of them were obviously (5 sq ft, another, 150 sq ft), went inside and let them do their job. Within 5 minutes, they were packing up and leaving. I went outside to check their work and they had only treated about 20-25% of the landscaping for weeds. I took pictures of the wet area(pictures taken within 5 minutes of when they left) and the vast swaths of areas that were dry because they were completely ignored. I went back to the recording on my security cameras for concurrence that the job was not done. I emailed proof to Weedman and then followed up by calling. All within an hour of the techs leaving.
When I called Weedman, I was told that the manager had to "Review the footage" because the Weedman trucks have cameras on them(how would their truck see my back yard). I replied, "that I also have footage of what happened", and that I also just sent pictures to the email their website provided.
The following week I received and email from Mia, stating that I would be refunded the remaining services for the year. I replied that I did not just want that refunded, I specifically asked for the $60 I was charged for weed control on my landscaping that was not completed. Still waiting to hear back from Mia.
So I called the office again where Kevin started he's just the front desk guy and he would let the manager "Dawn" know.
Now 6 days after that call, I went to Weedmans location Meridian to ask for my money back. I walked into their office that looks like a 6 year olds bedroom (due to the toys and general unorganized look of the dump) and wait for someone to talk to. After a minute gauges came down the stairs. I asked to speak with Dawn. He replied that he was Dawn...I went over my issues and that I wanted money back. He said the Dawn I was looking for did not work there. I asked for her number and he said they do not have a direct number for her LAST RED FLAG.
I said that I have spoken with Kevin and emailed with Mia as "Dawn" blankly death stared me and said he could take my address and they would get back to me...which really hasn't happened in 10 days.
These guys are lying crooks. Do not do any business with them. You will get half-asz lawn/weed service and worse customer service.

I’m canceling my service with Weed Man Lawn Care after a frustrating and disappointing experience.

When I initially signed up, I specifically asked about trouble spots in my yard, which the sales guy looked up my property online and said it would be no problem. I was told I would receive a text 24 hours before each visit so I could speak with the technician about those areas. That never happened.

For the first visit, I received no call or text, just a voicemail after the fact saying they had already been there. When I called back, I was told they had incorrect contact information on file. They “fixed” it.

The next visit? Same issue. No notification, just another voicemail after the service was already completed. When I called again, I was told a text had been sent and that I had replied “stop messaging me,” which was completely inaccurate. After asking them to verify my information, they realized they had updated my contact details in one system but not for text notifications.

Finally, on the last visit, I was finally able to speak with the technician about the trouble spots, the entire reason I signed up in the first place. That’s when I was told those areas were not actually included in my service and would cost an additional $90 to treat.

To their credit, customer service did attempt to fix the issues. However, every attempt to resolve one problem seemed to uncover another breakdown in their process or misstatement by their sales representative.

Overall, the experience was disorganized, inconsistent, and not worth the ongoing hassle.

They are not consistent. They came to spray flower beds and rock beds in July. I was told they would be back in 2 weeks to respray an area with quite a few weeds. I contacted them 2 weeks later when they failed to follow up and they sent someone out a week later. August and September I received no full treatment, despite agreeing to a monthly contract with a sales person. I contacted them 10 days ago and still have not received a service date. It’s now Oct. 5.
So many weeds are in the rock beds due to treatment being skipped. What a waste of my money and it’s embarrassing to look at.
How is this excusable? It’s just bad business.

Paid for 75 crickets had them double count and only had 59 when I got home.
