Very knowledgeable staff and they use products healthy for the environment and animals. I have the best lawn in my neighborhood because of their lawn care program.

Such an awesome place to get garden and livestock supplies. The staff is so helpful! They're very willing time to give advice and share information.

Small store, but lots of inventory. Local products, great customer service. I adore their outdoor garden area. Beautiful succulents and great gardening ideas.

This morning somebody who works at Sam's o's and was the beholder of the keys turned out to be human estimate and point although they were a little bit later open this morning both lady that was there before the keys and the lady that brought the keys were so positive so generous so eager to help. That kind of attitude alone is reason enough for me to come back to this store on purpose not just out of convenience

The store itself is decent and I appreciate what they are trying to do especially as a local company but the prices are just outrageous. 13 bucks they are asking for a piece of plastic that is used to spray their also very expensive Thrive product. Highway robbery.
Check out amazon or the NXT line of products for better rates and ingredient profiles for lawn tree and shrub micronutrients.
Also try the Ortho Dial and Spray from the Homedepot next door for product applications. It’s way more versatile, more substantial and less money. -
I can't sing enough praises for this Zamzows location. Our experience with Steven is always top-notch, as he is knowledgeable on a variety of topics including tree and other plant health. I highly recommend this location and especially Steven for your outdoor needs!

I love Zamzows selection of house plants but I think I have finally ended my time buying from you. I have bought many plants from you in the past. Some have survived but a lot haven’t. I hadn’t caught on until later that I started having a mealy bug issue once I started brining Zamzows plants home. I know I should always check but sometimes it doesn’t cross my mind in the excitement of a new beautiful plant. A week ago I bought two new Pothos from the Federal Way location for my work office. The next day at work, I started to find huge mealy bugs all over the stems. I decided not return then because I wanted to try and treat them with washing the plant and neam oil treatments. The larger Pothos I have been able to treat pretty well but the smaller one hasn’t gotten any better. All the stems started to turn brown and die off. It almost looks like root rot and I haven’t even had it long enough to water it yet Today I had to throw it away because it was just dead due to the bugs. Again, I love the selection but there needs to be something done about the bugs.

The Federal Way location is the best Zamzows. They are always accommodating, friendly and genuinely care about the well being of your furry friends. It's one of my favorite spots to get every day items (cheaper than Petco/Petsmart AND local), and have a lovely selection of flowers for the garden. Management seems to be very good to their employees here which is another big plus-- love seeing happy workers! Thanks for being a go-to for the last several years.

Wow, Zamzows was amazing! We came through to fill up our propane on our RV and the staff was so kind. We were so happy with everyone from the guy filling our propane to the guy at the check out. All around great stop and made our day better!

I have always had really good luck with finding perennials at this location. I have some raspberry sorbet poppies that I got at this location about 10 years ago I have never seen them anywhere else locally. I have also always had a great experience with the customer service. I have been a customer since they were a couple of blocks further down state street

My mother and I went in to purchase an air plant. The young lady helping us said that she could never keep them alive and said that I was basically wasting my money buying one. When my mom asked how to keep them alive she told us to must them.... which is not how you water them. When I asked if they sold any thing to display them in the lady helping us said "No, we don't sell anything for them". I liked at my mom and said "I'm going to look around and see if I can find something glass that it would look cool in. The young lady said "We don't sell anything like that, so don't bother looking". I assured her that I heard what she was saying, I was still going to look around.
While looking for a container my mom decided to buy a bird feeder and 50 pounds of seed. I helped her carry the stuff to the registers while 3 people that worked there all stood around. While she paid I went to the fish area to check on glass bowls. When I came back to the registers my mom was trying to carry 50 pounds of bird seed and her bird feeder while 3 employees, standing around, watched her struggle. I let them know that I'm glad they had nothing better to do than stand around and watch her struggle.
The staff at this location was very uneducated, and very rude! I think they definitely need some training with costumer service. My mother and I will be buying our bird seed elsewhere from now on. -
They’re always attentive and helpful, but don’t harass you constantly. Everyone is very knowledgeable about basically everything, and if someone isn’t for a particular thing then they find someone who is. They don’t act suspicious and ask a bunch of questions when you need to return something; if it’s not working out for you they simply say, “I’m sorry it’s not working out, can I help you find something that will?” Everyone at the Federal Way store Boise is absolutely fantastic. I wouldn’t even consider going to another place. Also they let my pup come in and explore! He loves it:) Thank you all! Zamzows for life!!

I was originally given incorrect information on how to plant grass seed and get rid of the weeds in my lawn. I went in and spoke with the manager, Taylor, and she immediately apologized for the misinformation from the other employee and was determined to correct the situation. Her enthusiasm and knowledge on lawn care was very helpful. It is hard to find good employees these days and I believe that Taylor is one of the few gems that goes above and beyond to make things right. It is because of my experience with Taylor that I will continue to shop at Zamzows.

Always really great employees and happy animals. The animals are well cared for and the reptile habitats look awesome. Prices are great too. I can find more here and at a better price than at Petco. And the animals seem so much happier.

Will sell a 12 year old live animals without a parent. If it was feeder fish I would understand. But pet rats and to recommend to get two and to give the child a male and female rat is highly unprofessional. Do not recommend this store.

I've always kind of been a fan of Zamzows. Not all locations are equal. This location has built an atrium addition for plants that are reasonably priced. It has an amazing selection of pet supplies, good soil in bulk, along with a friendly knowledgeable staff. It has great aquarium supplies but is lacking in aquatic life; I'm sure it's sufficient for most people but nothing out of the ordinary and no salt water fish.

Zamzows is a great spot to shop for home garden supplies. Their friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to help, and they have great local insight. They also have many options for pets, but focus a bit too much on their own brands. Many items are a bit pricey comparatively and it's difficult to compare to other brands since much is limited to only Zamzows products. All in all, a great store for gardening that could improve for pets.

Great selection of fish and big store all around. Always great customer service but over priced but you always get what you pay for at zamzows.

Love this Zamzows! The crickets' tanks are always kept pretty clean. If you purchase crickets, you know how dirty those buggers are. I've had good luck with my crickets not dying super quick like they have when I get them from other stores that don't take as great care of them. Sometimes I get lost and end up in the plant section and accidentally buy a plant. The plants always look lively and well cared for. I hate when they all beg me to take them home though.

Joshua, in the fish dept is my favorite! He was so friendly and cares so much about the work he does to take care of the fish and critters there! If this location was closer I'd be swinging by more often to browse and say hi to josh!
