We received our first TruGreen application for the season today. Their employee did excellent job applying the fertilizer. He was informative, friendly and on time.

I used TruGreen last year and it went fine. Now it's gone so far downhill I just quit them and am pursuing a dispute for the $93 they just charged me. The representative who last serviced my lawn on 7/5 rang the doorbell quick then took a fast walk around my house not realizing I was home and could see him - one quick swath next to the house, 30 seconds, popped a flag on the edge of the back lawn, left and I was auto-charged $93. I didn't have time to react - but 9 days later my lawn is suddenly sprouting weeds everywhere except the tiny swath next to the house and I have guests arriving this weekend. I tried emailing. The auto response says "sorry, we're short staffed" and didn't get back. I tried the chat line. It hung up on me while I was attempting to type what happened. I'm done. I'm filing a CC dispute for the $93 I was just charged and cancelled. This was a near $900 a year contract. Downright fraud, and no luck getting a response from the company.

I've been with TG for over four years... and these are the results... but as as soon as the bill comes up they're quick to charge you. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

2/13/2026 Had to cancel my service. Didnt get a message on my phone, that they were even coming on the day they came to my residence. (2/10/2026) I just got back in town and noticed with the little sign in my yard and on my door....Charged me $151.93 to my account and from the time they pulled up to the time they left....was literally 11:42 a.m. and put a note on my door at 11:52 a.m...... I live on an acre, with a huge yard and my cameras around my house and property....showed a young gentleman who walked quickly with a handheld fertilizer spreader and the note on the door said they used 51.75 lbs of fertilizer.....which is impossible within 10 minutes of being at my property. Thats horrible service and makes me not trust Trugreen. What a joke. Do it right!

My lawn has never look better. I love my lawn! Tru-green has great employees and they communicate with the customer always. I had them last year and I got them again this year.

I was scheduled to have someone from TruGreen come out to my home to provide winter fertilization. No one showed up either time. I called on 12/16 to terminate my service. Today, I receive a text from Steve with TruGreen to remind me of my service start date in February. I told him I had canceled service and he instructed me to call TruGreen, directly, as it shows my service is still active. I called and spoke with Michael who wanted to argue with me, stating my service was to start in March. He blames me for being confused yet offers nothing but excuses when I told him someone was scheduled to be here on 12/15 before 2:30 to fertilize my lawn. They (TruGreen) scheduled this appointment, not me. Absolutely unprofessional. Two no-call/no-shows is unacceptable and no way to start a business relationship.

Too soon to rate the results of the treatment TrueGreen ( Boise) provided as it was just two weeks ago they came out for first time. I will say they were very responsive in getting back to me after my initial call and came out for first treatment within a few days. The tech that came out, Zachary was awesome! Informative , quick and very personable. He alone deserves 5 stars for his customer service.

I received a promo and decided to explore the services. The individual who signed me up was great at first. Ultimately, I signed up for two services, only ever received one, was charged for both, and could not get a response to my calls or texts after that.
The reason for giving TruGreen two stars was that the initial experience was solid and when I called their support line to cancel and get a refund for the service I didn't receive, they were very helpful. They successfully cancelled everything and refunded my money for the unperformed service.

Been with Trugreen for years and this year I believe they killed so many plants. They said it wasn’t them and said they would test the plants to see if it was them, and never got back to me. They would not cover any loss, so I canceled them. Beware who you use

TruGreen has helped our lawn immensely! Our lawn looked so much better after only a few treatments. We tried to do it on our own but, failed! Thank you TruGreen for taking over and getting the job done!

I regret ever using this lawn care company. After four treatments and requested watering recommendations, my lawn was still dead and patchy (see photos attached). We communicated multiple times that we were concerned about seeing no improvement and the lawn was actually getting worse, but was told we'd get call backs from the branch that never came. We were cautious locking ourselves into the program but was assured by the sales team that they had a guarantee that we are now being told is only a refund for the remaining services. So we are out the hundreds of dollars for the services that literally made our lawn worse. Awful customer service, shady sales tactics, and services that do not work.

Do not hire them unless you want to dump $$$ into making your yard look 10x worse, and then being told it's against policy to refund anything beyond the remaining services on the calendar.

Note: Frustrated with their lack of results and poor customer service, we ended up hiring a different company after not getting calls back for improvements. Their solutions worked within a couple short weeks. Find someone other than Trugreen for your lawn needs.

Prompt communication, really good work, would recommend to anyone. Jason is great.

What can I say? Sod Squad came out and got all the leaves up and gone in a couple hours! I’m talking leaves from 4 oak trees! Thanks for fixing me up for the summer season will be calling you again big guy, good job

Jason is amazing! We were having issues with our past landscapers, I reached out to see about weekly mows. Called me 1 minute later, came by the house 10 minutes later and we got a mow that same day! Highly recommend!

These guys are our go to landscapers for a commercial property we have in Garden City, and have been for the last few years. They provide great customer service, very fair pricing, and preform quality work. Highly recommend! Jason is always great to work with.

Jason with The Sod Squad was very prompt in his responses and communication. They were very open to feedback and committed to making sure we were satisfied with their work. Also very reasonably priced. Will definitely use them again!

The Sod Squad did a fantastic job and now my lawn looks great! They mowed, edged, pruned, weeded, cleaned up bushes and more. I came home to find all the work we'd talked about was done ... and then some! Great service, awesome price. Highly recommend this company!

I can not say enough good things about this company. We had a major infestation of bugs in the trees at my work. After Idaho Spray Service came in, the bugs were quickly taken care of, and they're great about following up to prevent recurrences.
They also do lawn care. My yard at home has been a mess since I bought it, but Idaho Spray Service came in and took care of all the weeds that we haven't been able to get rid of. We tried every product we could think of, with no luck. Idaho Spray Service saved the day!!
I would recommend this company to anyone!! Great people, wonderful service!!

We were in need of lawn care service and preferred to use a locally owned company. Idaho Spray Service was recommended, we called and Rico came out. We told him what our needs were he did an assessment of our lawn and flower beds. He did a treatment that day. Rico is very personable, professional and thorough. We have found our new lawn care service!
