Nick was very thorough in his initial assessment and promptly began to work. When the assessment was completed he gave me a list of options or suggestions. He was very clear in the description of the services offered and I really appreciated the details. Also as a sidenote he was very kind, helpful and went above and beyond what I would have expected. Consultation for safety of existing wiring for updated portable generator hook up with possibility of upgrade as needed.

Nick was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He carefully examined my main panel, inlet box, sub-panel and generator. He answered many questions (which led to more questions) and thoroughly explained and SHOWED me patiently how and why my generator worked with my existing home interlock.

Nick did a safety check inside my home and gave explanations and estimates to improve services throughout my home.

Jada in the office was courteous and followed up with appt confirmation and even called to see if Nick could come earlier than scheduled. He showed up on time with the earlier timeframe.

AC was short-cycling and wouldn’t stay on. Called Seth for some diagnostics. Quickly assessed that the motor was out of sent Eric out next day and replaced the motor, but it wouldn’t turn on. Ugh-oh, what now I thought. Seems like the new motor is bad he said. Next day, swapped the motor and everything is fine. Brand new motor was defective. Live and learn. Ready for a long hot summer. Thanks to Seth and Eric for a little vendor induced rework (no charge to me).

Technician Seth Chandler arrived well ahead of anticipated schedule. We requested a technician to inspect an EV wall charger to make sure it was compatible with the EV we purchased and he was very thorough and explained how it would work as well as the portable charger. He also advised that with the wall charger we had their company liked inspect the home electric systems in order to ensure the safety of the property. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything involving the electrical panels and the things that we could consider in the future. Very happy with the inspection and when it’s time for upgrades, will definitely request that Seth is the tech that does the work we might need.

Very professional. I received a text with a picture of the service person and a confirmation of appointment time. I got another text when Seth was at my door. I was not at home and told him how to access my home in order to check on electrical components and verify that my exhaust fan was operating properly. He did a general inspection and then specific exhaust inspection. He verified what our agreement was as far as service and price and let me know he would put covers over his shoes and practice recommended practices to protect my home as well as himself. Once all of the inspection was done I received a call from Seth to discuss his findings and recommendations. All of this was handled with the utmost professionalism. I truly appreciate what Seth and Big Family electrical did for me on short notice. I give both a 10-star rating and will recommend them to anyone in need of services provided by them.
