This was my first time using Shield h/c services. The appointment scheduling was easy. The service tech, Victor, was on time, very cordial, knowledgeable, and took his time with servicing the units. I'm very pleased with the services and recommend them to homeowners wanting to maintain their h/c units.

Amazing experience throughout. Reasonable quote, quick turnaround, and all insltalled in half a day. They left everything spotless clean. This is a great crew that you would want in your home. Respectful and caring of your home, while doing an amazing job. I wish Google would have a 10 star system, because i would give them 11

Victor came out first thing Monday morning when our heat went out. Everything about the process was so smooth. I received a confirmation email the day before, got a call when Victor was in the way. He fixed our unit quickly and did a great job explaining to us what the issue was. It was very affordable. Will definitely use again!

Shield has been the best communicating service provider I have worked with in a long time. I have 4 properties under their maintenance plan, and they handle all communication with tenants and the technicians always call me with informative updates.
Most recently, Victor took care of one situation where I had a leak in the unit and did an excellent job of communicating and presenting a simple fix. I have worked with other HVAC companies in the past and Shield's pricing and service have by far been the best. 10/10 recommend!

Yesterday July 30th 2025, I had an appointment with the Rebel Heating and Air. On Mammoth Ave, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Tech ask me do I have a broken ac and I immediately told him no. "I never told the receptionist that, its something else, I'll show you". The tech, his assistant and I climbed into the attic. I attempted to show him the all the rust I had on the air ducts which affecting the air quality that comes in the house. He immediately told me, we don't do duct work. Which was a lie that i confirmed with his manager later. At this point of so called inspection I was done. He rambled on about getting a new ac and several other issues not related to my problem. I was really done then and ready to get out that hot attic. We climbed out of the attic and he asked to come inside my condo. After going on and on about what the problem could be, he decided to hit me with a $125 inspection fee. That was a huge surprise to me and all I kept thinking was he didn't really do anything for such a expensive inspection fee. The moral of the review is be careful who you call in the middle of the summer, when you do call ask lots of questions, especially "do you charge an inspection fee". Always remember mostly every AC company wants to sell you a new unit. Even if your AC works. Initially, I didn't ask about an inspection fee and Rebel Heating and Air took advantage my kindness and ignorance, so now I'm out of $125.

So one of your drivers on I 10 on the Baton Rouge bridge in Louisiana cut me off and dam near hit me maybe you !should employ safe drivers!

Mr. Jimmy is an all around good hearted guy. Always willing to help out and goes above and beyond when it comes to service. One of the few honest, hard working men still in business.
