Great experience. Arrived as scheduled, inspected both A/C systems, quickly diagnosed the problems, and repaired as required.

A/C tech was not responsive to customer needs. Kept saying problem won’t be covered when contract clearly says it was covered. He blamed every thing on homeowner not on normal wear and tear.

Please don't waste your money on this terrible service! This company was obnoxious and refused service for leaking ductwork because it would be a "hard job." I have never dealt with/heard of a worse AC company. The technician is one of the rudest, nastiest individuals I've ever spoken to.

I have used Higginbottom for over 10 years. He has provided services for 6 different properties over the course of that time. I have found him to provide quality work, reasonable prices, always prompt, and very pleasant to work with.

We were without a/c for 7 days. He came out many days in a row always at 4, so if he needed a part he couldn’t come back until the next day or the day after. When I complained about his service he refused to come back. The next a/c man said he installed the wrong size circuit breaker (in the future it wouldn’t carry the load), and he installed the float switch wrong. Plus, he’s not a very friendly guy. Do yourself a favor, avoid this company.

As a Senior Woman, alone at home, I felt SURE I was getting the BEST timely Service in these trying times as it ALWAYS has been with this Company. Would not use anyone else.

We have a warranty through American Home shield. He came out and said he fixed the unit. The AC was leaking he managed to stop the leak so we hoped. 2 weeks later I go into the kitchen and it’s leaking in a different spot. We call American Home Shield and they wanted to send the same guy out. My husband calls the tech to explain what’s going on. The tech begins to say that he will need to cut a hole in the sheet rock and that the warranty won’t pay for access and is giving excuses my husband asked some questions and the guy calls him a as*ho** and is ranting and raving. My husband hangs up on the tech. This company is awful! I read some other reviews and it seems like the guy hates to go into the attic. Maybe he should find another line of work. UNBELIEVABLE! Next call my lawyer. I would give a negative star if I could.

Steve with Higginbotom's AC is one of the rudest, most unprofessional repairman I have ever met. He yelled at me in my own home for asking why we continue to have problems with our AC and need him to come out every few months to address a new problem. I absolutely advise you to hire ANYONE ELSE.

He is the assigned contractor that our warranty company, American Home Shield, uses. He requested that we call them and give him a one star review so that he can stop being sent to our home.

Polite , professional and proficient! Definitely will refer friends and family. Love the fact that Mr. Stephen is greatly experienced over 30 years of experience. Punctual as we , he said between 9:00am - 12:00pm and arrived in the time frame. Please remember great repairman may run ahead or behind schedule due to the nature of unforseen issues on a HVAC system, and may need to order a part or better the part is at a supply store. Our repair work was going to be harder/more complicated than the technician had originally anticipated, so he flat out refused to do the work at all. He mentioned that it was hot in our attic (which was a normal attic temperature) and that he wasn't going to do any work to fix our issue. Meanwhile, our AC continues to leak water through the ceiling of our master bedroom and living room. The technician was rude from the first time we spoke with him. Do NOT waste your time or money trying to deal with this horrible company.

My home warranty assigned them to come out and address loud noises coming from my ac unit outside and neighbor complaining about it. The first call to schedule, the guy was VERY rude when I asked if he could be a little more specific than a 5 hour window because um work? I should have known this would be an interesting experience...2 guys show up (unmarked sketchy van) - 1 did NOTHING the whole time, while the other was talking to me and bending parts of my unit instead of unscrewing it....he said it was the fan making noise and it was "fixed" 5 min later, but when I went to check after they left, my unit was still making the same noise, but now even louder.

This was my first time using my home warranty, but I will be calling them shortly to let them know about my experience because I will not continue to pay for it if they send out unreliable people.

I put in a service request through my home warranty and was assigned Higginbottom's. The service call was to get my A/C serviced as I was experience unusually symptoms with my unit. Steve answered my call and was, unfortunately, agitated and seemed bothered with my service request. Regardless of whether he beleived he could be of service, his communication skills were extremely lacking and showed absolutely no care or concern with supporting me. I wish I had a better experience but I feel I gave no reason for Steve to be rude with me.

We had a great experience. Professional and genuinely nice guys. They were working nonstop the second they got here. Our ac went completely out. They came out swapped the motor, cleaned the outside unit, gave some helpful tips, put Freon, even told us that the roofers that replaced our roof missed a installation in the attic. Watered our nearby plants while spraying the unit. It was the middle of day too so even hotter than normal. Home warranty said next business day and they came same day. Can't recommend enough.
