We visited Green Fields Nursery today to buy some indoor plants, specifically oxygen‑producing plants and succulents. The selection was excellent we found everything we wanted, including a snake plant, spider plant, pothos, hens and chicks, and calibrachoa.
The plants were healthy, well cared for, and priced very reasonably for their quality. We also picked up garden soil potting mix for indoor plants, which was exactly what we needed.
The staff were helpful, and the overall shopping experience was great. We’re really happy with our purchase and will definitely visit again soon for more plants! 🌿

This company shows lack of respect. I have asked the owner several times not to landscape my neighbors grass at 7am in the morning!!! We live in a residential neighborhood, this is very disrespectful! DONT USE THIS COMPANY!!!

Best thing we did was give them a call. I added before and after pictures to see what an incredible job they did. From the initial call ,to a onsite visit , to a great quote and to the actual job was a few days! Excellent communication all along the way, no BS! On time for the day of work, very professional, whole crew did an amazing job. They went above and beyond. We are very happy and will definitely be using them as we need some more work done. Worst people to work with ever. I asked for 2 services- weed removal and a quote for sod installation. Somehow, they signed me up for the 3 cut service; fine, I'm getting sod, it will need to be cut. Perfect. NEVER got the quote for sod, only pulled/cut half my weeds, never came back but still charged for three cuts. Do not use. Run, run away.

Update: Joey from LawnStarter reached out to address my emails and interactions with their customer service. He listened and actually reviewed my account and instead of making me feel crazy, he actually tried to help. I will say I also ignored his emails for a week because I was so angry about this situation, but he made it a point to make it right. I can appreciate when a company messes up and actually does the work to make it right. I’ll change my rating, to account for the remediation. Thanks Joey!

I wish I’d read the recent reviews prior to booking. They spend more time on fancy apps and creating this illusion of a well organized company than on actually getting the job done. I hired them on a Thursday and was promised they’d arrive Friday. Then I was told it was a 3 day window, then they said Monday. I just got an email from them that they are unable to complete the service. I really needed the yard work performed in a timely manner and I emphasized that. These people have wasted 4 days of my time. They are middlemen but they don’t disclose. They have no real control over how to get the jobs done. You’re better off hiring an independent contractor.

They contract out to third party companies so I imagine your experience is dependent on who you get. Unfortunately I've been dissatisfied with who I've gotten. I signed up for lawn mowing and hedge trimming 24 days ago. It took nearly two weeks for them to mow and I'm still waiting for them to trim the hedges. So if you're fine waiting almost a month four the work to get done LawnStarter could be for you.

Your only option for interacting with the crew is by messaging them through the app, which is buried in the More section. No phone number you can call to actually speak to someone. I'm reading on other reviews that LawnStarter has an 888 number which is news to me because it's not shown anywhere on the app.

If they postpone a job you don't get notified or an explanation. And there's no record of any of it so you can't easily track all the delays. You do have the option to request a crew change. I haven't tried this yet because they keep telling me the job will be done in a day or two and I don't want them to delay it further by changing crews. Besides they already changed it once on me. Even though everything happens through the app they didn't send a notification thorough it to tell me. I just went to message my crew one day and it said I couldn't because no one was assigned to me. I later saw an email about it that got buried amongst everything else.

So that's essentially the tactic. Make it difficult for the client to be aware of or communicate about anything that goes wrong so they don't have to deal with it because they're just contracting out anyway.

Very disappointing experience with this company. Their sales staff in customer service does a good job of selling their services. They then contract with a crew that never shows up to deliver the service. When you call their customer service line and press option 2 for existing customers, your on hold for over an hour. At which time I decided to call back and press option 1 for new service, and not surprisingly, a sales person answered in less than 30 seconds!! I explained my frustration with their company and lack of follow through but was told to contact the "crew" that was supposed to provide service through the lawnstarter app. I was informed the crew would finally show up the following day between 2-3 pm. Got a text at 2:40 pm stating they were "on the way". At 7 pm, still no crew and no responses when trying to correspond with crew via the app. I specifically asked for the mere courtesy of letting me know they weren't going to show up; guess that is too much to ask for with this company. Judging by the countless negative reviews, I am obviously not in the minority in having such a disappointing, unprofessional experience with LawnStarter. My mistake was that I didn't research their reviews before I contacted them. They offer a $20 "credit" if you submit your information attached to a scripted review they provide stating how wonderful they are and how you would recommend them. I suspect that this is the source of their "positive' reviews.

This is the first time I ever used any form of lawn service in the 20 years of renting in the last year of owning my own home. Always did the work myself but as I got older and could not do it anymore I was reluctant to use any form of lawn service. But I gave them a shot and the outcome is outstanding! Very affordable very reliable and what I mean by reliable is they keep in contact with you when they are going to show up. I am very relieved that my yard looks beautiful and the service is great. Please consider giving this company a shot and you will not be disappointed I hope. Is looking for a good person I would recommend Leonard
