Staff are friendly and you can get a good deal on carpets! I worked with Abdul and he is amazing. He gave me carpets on consignment that I was interested in but not sure how it will look in my house. Ended up buying 2 carpets from him.

Home delivery and personal time spent LISTENING to the needs and providing over and beyond what is expected is what you will find here. If you want an area rug, go to a box store; If you'd prefer hand-made quality with world-class education and respect, AREF's Oriental Rugs has no competition.

We have dealt with Aref for the past 28+ years and have always been so appreciative of his knowledge that he so generously shares and his willingness to take the time to ensure that our final choice is the right one for us and our home. When needed he has gone to great lengths to help us make the right choice, which sometimes required him to travel to New York in search of a specific rug color wave we were wanting. He has also been very generous in bringing rugs we wished to try out to our home, leaving them for several days as we considered our choices. In addition we have trusted him with the cleaning of our treasured pieces. Aref is truly the best in his field. You will not be disappointed.

Could not be happier! Recently relocated to Bel Air. I needed to have three room sized rugs cleaned and two of them repaired. One was an extensive repair to a braided rug. I would not have believed they could look this good again. These rugs originally belonged to my great-grandparents so who knows how old they are? Thanks for taking such good care of these rugs I am sentimentally attached to.

Purchased two oriental rugs from Aref's. Both were of excellent quality, hand made silk. Had another rug repaired by Aref himself - beautiful work! If you are looking for a quality oriental at a great price this is the place to go.

Friendly and easy to work with. Cleaning was done on my rug and it was cleaned well and wrapped for protection. Would recommend.

We dropped off a cherished wool rug for a professional cleaning. Arefs gave us the history on the rug and just raved over how beautiful it was and the excellent quality of the piece. He assured us that he could remove as much of the spots as humanly possible. We just picked it up and placed in back in our living room. Arefs did a superb job and we are beyond pleased with their service and care. Thank you for the top quality workmanship!

Aref was extremely warm and welcoming as soon as we entered the shop! Extremely knowledgeable and took the time to show us each of the rugs and all the beautiful detail work that went into creating these beautiful pieces! It was apparent that Aref cares about (and remembers!) his customers, which is not the norm these days. A lovely place to pick up some beautiful rugs with excellent customer service!

I had my Oriental rugs cleaned and they look almost new. Aref and Brandon were very accommodating, replacing all of the furniture in it’s proper place. It took about two weeks to have rugs cleaned and returned. Very satisfied.
