I wanted to write in and commend your Beltsville store and the staff you have there. Particularly Clarence and Tami. We, unfortunately, had a run around with another store location who assured us they could delivery material to our job site but then later on said they couldn't. This was all coming out last minute and we had a job to do. I realized that sending a tech to their location was 3 hours away from the tech's house. Instead, I found that Beltsville was only 40 mins away, thus saving us at least 2 hours' time. Clarence stayed on the phone with me for 36 minutes, took my list down, went and picked out every single item and put it on his desk. At the end of the call, he had everything I needed except disconnects.

This is where Tami comes in. Clarence found that a store in Alexandria had the disconnects. He sent Tami home early so she could swing by and pick them up and bring them with her to work the next day before my tech came by.

I am beyond thankful for these two and the help they gave me. In addition, our project was able to go on as planned without any more major set backs. I wanted to make sure you knew just how much I appreciated these 2 and the assistance from the store. Thank you so much!

The initial visit and installation went smoothly. I had concerns about communication efforts with Edge but just received excellent customer service with Anthony from Edge who walked me through any concerns I had as well as my electricity bill. I appreciate the focused effort and even have a recording to refer to in the future if I have any additional questions. I would refer Edge to anyone considering installing solar.

Edge Energy performed an energy efficiency update to my home earlier this year. I am so grateful for this project. My home is much more comfortable and my utility bills are manageable. The service providers who worked in my home were courteous and professional. I highly recommend this program!

The contractors and inspectors from Edge Energy were professional, reliable, trustworthy, pleasant, and efficient throughout all of the work that was done. I am happy and satisfied with the completion of the job. Qualifying and being a recipient of this grant allowed my house to become more energy efficient at no cost, otherwise I would not have been able to afford it. Thanks to Pepco and Edge Energy.

I contracted with Edge Energy to aeroseal my ducts. Overall I was pleased with the services they provided. I received a timely and competitive estimate from Josh that I accepted even though a competitor countered at a lower price. The crew arrived to start the work in a timely fashion and completed it within the timeframe given. Their attention to detail cleaning up afterwards wasn’t quite to my standard with debris and dust being left behind at several registers. Lastly while finishing up the work when reopening a damper some debris from prior renovation work to my home fell into the air handler. Luckily they caught this but I did have to have my unit turned off for a day in the middle of summer and have it serviced at my own expense to remove the debris. They did provide a credit that covered about half the cost to me. Overall I feel like my home has been more comfortable since having the work done and my unit working more efficiently so I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

Edge Energy is a fantastic program for people who qualify. Very professional service provided. They make sure to lay down drop clothes to protect your flooring, clean up after themselves when on the job, very polite and best of all not a penny came out of my pocket to improve my energy efficiency. Couldn’t say anything more, they are truly the best

EDGE Energy just completed a home energy audit on my home. The energy auditor was professional, the report came back in a timely manner, and it was more detailed than any home inspection I’ve ever received. There were more pictures of my crawl space than I’ve ever seen, a very detailed scope of work, and information to help us qualify for all the local incentives/rebates offered to help reduce the upfront cost.

Recently had Edge Energy come out to do an energy audit, aka a blower test. The technician, Robert, did a very good job with the blower test and explained the different aspects of the house that could be improved for efficiency. It took about two weeks to get a proposal sent over with a list of recommended work items as a result of the blower test. After selecting the “highly recommended” items and letting them know I wanted to move forward, I received an unexpected response, that they were “too busy” for the job because I didn’t select all items on the proposal, or at least not the biggest one. They said it was “too small” of job. Glad to know a couple thousand dollars worth of repairs that you “highly recommended” aren’t worth it. Only reason I am giving two stars and not one is because Robert did an awesome job with the energy audit. Wouldn’t recommend Edge Energy for “small” efficiency improvement jobs, their too busy.

Edge Energy did an energy audit for us, then sealed the house, installed a new roof with excellent insulation, and an ERV fan to ensure fresh air. They were a delight to work with throughout, very friendly and professional. We needed some follow up work due to quirks in the house, not bad work by Edge, and they did it promptly and without charge. I couldn't recommend them more highly.

EDGE Energy is one of the best companies I have ever dealt with. From start to finish, every person I encountered was awesome! I submitted my application and within a day got feedback from Alison, who informed me of everything I would need to do and send. Once that was done, she scheduled someone to come out and do an audit on my home within weeks. Joey did the energy audit on my home, showed me the recommendations he would make. Again, within a few weeks, I had a team here, led by Elder, fixing my heating vents and re-insulating. He was very courteous and made sure everything was cleaned up, as did Joey. I can't praise this team enough. Thank you so much, Alison, Joey and Elder!

Great experience! Brett took the time to review all the information regarding solar, what Edge Energy provides and answered all of my questions. The scheduling happened in line with expectations. The day of installation was smooth, efficient and they cleaned up! They went over the app and how to use it. The electrician came back when Pepco approved the install and we have been off and running. The panels look amazing and I have received many questions from neighbors about solar. So that's what we want...more sustainable energy.

Edge Energy is a pleasure to work with! Their employees are knowledgeable and helped us learn the true causes of our home energy losses. Their communications are excellent. They told us exactly what they were going to do and why. They explained the results of their testing and why our HVAC system wasn't as effective. They carefully described how these heat and AC losses would be corrected and gave us tips to make sure we used the better bath fans so the modifications they made to reduce air leakage in the house wouldn't let moisture turn to mold. Using their services will save us money on utilities and gave us knowledge of the most effective next steps we should take to save money on utilities.
This month we were looking for updated windows, thinking that would make the biggest impact to save on our utilities. After working with Edge Energy we are thinking differently and hopefully can "see through" overstated sales promises of remodeling contractors. Thank you Edge Energy!
