We hired A Plus Carpet and Flooring to clean our office carpets that we thought were beyond help! The team did an amazing job and brought them back to life. We didn't even realize that they were actually blue under all the grime. The detergents they used left a clean smell that was not at all overpowering. I would highly recommend them! We are also having them replace our vinyl flooring areas later this spring. Extremely responsive and reasonably priced.

Jonathan and his crew did a fantastic job with the installation of my hardwood floors. They were professional, responsive to my questions/requests and the final product is beautiful. I would highly recommend using A plus flooring and specifically Jonathan's crew for any flooring needs.

BLUF: I’ve used 3 Maryland carpet and flooring places in the last 5 years (Elegant Flooring, KC Flooring, and A+ Carpet twice)—A+ is the worst.

Their prices and work for cleaning are similar to other places, but the administration, pricing, and repair work are poor. If you have anything other than the simplest, most straightforward job, there will be a problem either with the execution or quoting. They're also slow to acknowledge mistakes and require excessive and time-consuming explanation or validation to adjust. It's like trying to manage 5 children on a job because you rarely talk to the same person for your job.

As far as execution, the repairs I contracted either weren’t done or weren't done well. There were very noticeable transitions between the undamaged and replacement sections. In one case, after more than five emails clarifying the work that was to be completed, one task wasn't completed at all.

Their overall costs are comparable to others, but it's such a poorly managed business that I'll never use again, and with so many other fairly priced and easier options in the area like Elegant Flooring, it's just not worth it.

Edit in response to owner comment: I work (a lot) without access to phone or Internet so the only time I can handle problems like these is on a day off. Honestly, I would’ve let the poor work go since the homebuyer was good with everything else, but the company’s inability to concede any possible fault on a work order that I had to correct multiple times is outrageous. Yes, I requested a small refund (~15% of total) for work on the contract that was not completed because everyone can agree that people shouldn’t get paid for work they don’t do. And no one ever asked me if I was satisfied with the work, I was just charged automatically on the day of completion.

A great experience from sales to installation. Had a problem with the flooring material about to be installed on my stairs and management resolved this immediately. Installers were professional, did an excellent job and made the new flooring seamless with the existing flooring. Highly recommended.

They were very nice to work with, arrived at the scheduled times and did a great job with the installation. Also, their support after the sale has been wonderful! We had an issue with two areas of our new carpeting getting stained during the move into our new house. They came out to our house, without question, and cleaned the areas. You would never know there was an issue. The carpeting looks great! I absolutely recommend A Plus Carpet and Flooring.

I had my carpet cleaned by Thomas, who did an exceptional job! You can see from the before and after photos I have attached that he had his work cut out for him, and I wasn't sure the carpet could ever get much cleaner. Thomas was very courteous and efficient, and should be commended for a job well done. I would gladly recommend A+ Carpet for a flooring cleaning to everyone!

A Plus Carpet in Columbia replaced ~1750 sf of carpeting in my condo with loft Oct 21. Adolfo P and Hugo G were the installers and they were amazing! It's LOVELY! We had boxed up the books/media/etc and moved smaller items to the balcony, kitchen, outside hallway, a bathroom, and the 3 large walk in closets. I thought they'd come back a second day to do the packed closets but they completed the job in one day. They wanted to have as few seams as possible - the previous carpeting had seams all over the place. One piece went 48 ft through the living room, down the hall (included the linen closet), into the master bedroom. The loft with 2 walk in closets was an 11.5'x25' single piece. The other half of the master bedroom has no seam now into its walk in closet. I'm in awe. They were so gracious about moving all our furniture and closet stuff and the 1.5 flights of stairs to the unit, stairs to loft, and courtyard hill that they had to lug carpeting and padding across. So careful with all our belongings.They moved furniture and closet stuff back, cleaned up, and vacuumed. Thomas and Ami let me borrow 3 of the Mohawk SmartStrand Silk tiny sample boards for 2 nights and we narrowed it down to Luxurious Desire. Thanks to Ami for suggesting we order a 3rd larger sample between the two colors we were considering as that's what we finally chose, Ivory Luster. Went with the better SmartCushion pad. Feels great underfoot. Pics are from end of living room looking down hallway to master bedroom and another of living room.

We hired A Plus to install gym flooring in our basement. We had flooring already in another room in our home that was basically seamless that I installed but wanted to use a professional due to the transitions in the carpet. The day the installers arrived they did wonderful work on the edges (shoe molding, carpet transitions) but the product they used was rolled down (instead of interlocking) which created 2 large seams in the flooring. Due to the glue coming through the seams, they used Acetone to try and remove it, which then discolored the rubber. We have been trying to work towards a solution and the company continually says they will call back and won't. When you finally talk to someone, they aren't able to provide a date to "repair" their work. This was a $2,400 project, they charged our credit card after we refused to pay by check due to the poor work quality and now we're left with a rather unsightly floor. Review the pictures and judge for yourself if this is the company for you

Update: The owner contacted us and offered to install new flooring to remedy the defects in the original install. Unfortunately we have to move on to a more involved home improvement project and weren’t able to allow him the opportunity to correct the issues we encountered. He did also provide a discount on the services based on our disappointment. This shows a real level of dedication in making things right

Not only were they very affordable, they were able to come out in a few days. And more importantly they did the best professional carpet cleaning I've had in a long time. I get my carpet cleaned professionally once a year and the popular company who did it last year, was lousy. APlus was in my home cleaning my living room carpet ONLY for about 45 minutes and he got all the stains and dirt out! I'd then back in a heart beat! Plus they were all nice to deal with!

A Plus Carpet is so wonderful. I called yesterday and spoke with Eric, who was so helpful, very professional and patient while I was trying to figure out the work I needed. I got 4 areas of my carpet stretched. The very next morning the 2 men showed up to do the work. They were so professional and very respectful of my property. They did an excellent job. They vacuumed and left everything just the way it was when they arrived. I highly recommend for all your carpet needs.We have used them before and we definitely will be using them again.

From start to end everyone at A plus was amazing. We asked them to replace the carpet in our home with LVP and re-carpet the stairs. An estimator came out within 3 days of my initial call and sent me estimates for all the variations I requested same day. The workers arrived promptly every day and were very courteous.
