We had a good experience working with Merry Maids - we had them come and do an initial deep clean on our newly purchased house. Overall they did a thorough job! The two women who came spent about two hours (I think) cleaning our house (2100 total sf, hardwood floors and carpeted basement). When they were finished, Maribel asked me to check the house and let them know if anything was missed or unsatisfactory. There were a few spots (e.g. dusting the fan blades), but they happily went back and cleaned those areas when I pointed them out.

This Company is amazing! My house always looks and feels clean. Diane and Yeti are the Dream Team. Thank you ladies for your professionalism and hard work, I will be recommending you to everyone.

The staff worked efficiently and thoroughly. I was at home while they were here and they worked very quietly. My surfaces sparkled! They cleaned things that I didn't even notice were dirty, and they found things that had been missing for months. They have provided reliable service for me for the past 7 years.

Jacqueline and Maria once again left my home beautifully cleaned! I arrived home to a a house that was spotless and well taken care of. They are always very careful handling my household items and I appreciate that and them very much! I have the best team!

I have been a longtime customer of Merry Maids Columbia, and initially was very pleased with their services and with the cleaning team. The office staff was lovely and the cleaning team was as well and worked hard. The cleaning services were expensive, but I felt it was worth it, as I am a working mother. However, as time went on, I felt that the team was increasingly sloppy with their work, and every 3rd visit or so, there would be major omission in the the cleaning (ie, an entire bathroom wasn't cleaned, beds repeatedly not made, the kitchen counters and stove back stops left with grease etc). Additionally, because of these repeated errors, I felt like I had to be present for the cleaning, which required the team to come late in the day due to my work schedule. Yet, every month, we received a message from the office staff not acknowledging what we have previously scheduled and trying to schedule the teams to come at times of the day when my family and I can't be there. Other than sloppiness, the team also started coming increasingly later that they scheduled to, and this was disruptive to our family schedule. Lately, the customer service has been terrible. I was not treated with respect or like a long-term or loyal customer, which became very frustrating. When mistakes were brought up, there was no attempt to rectify them or adjust service prices, other than to issue an apology. The Merry Maids motto is to help make your life easier, but it has lately only added stress. I will be taking my business elsewhere and hope they reconsider how they treat existing customers.

I fired Merry Maids because they broke several items within the year that they cleaned my apartment. They claimed that my cats broke the last item, even though I found the broken pieces hidden behind my television. They wanted me to send them comparable quotes of the dish, which I did, and they offered to pay 1/3 the price of the quotes. I finally agreed to the price, but now Merry Maids isn't responding. If you want a reputable cleaning company, USE ANOTHER CLEANER.

10/4: Merry Maids resolved this issue because of the bad post that I made. They still claimed that they weren't responsible for breaking my dish and only paid 1/3 the value of the dish. Do yourself a favor, and FIND ANOTHER CLEANER.

Merry Maids did a fantastic job of cleaning our condo before we moved out - everything was spotless and really had never looked better. They were very accommodating of our tight schedule as well and were easy to work with. I highly recommend them!

Merry Maids has been helping us keep our place clean and tidy for years now. Xiomara and Kathy and Maria are all wonderful, but I appreciate every person I've interacted with here. Professional, helpful, timely, communicative. The team at the office, Jeannie and all the rest are also amazing and always try to help us when we need a last minute clean for guests. They are great with our cats and our dog too! Thanks, y'all!

Excellent team. Antonieta is thorough and has a good attention to detail. She is easy to talk with and good at changing direction if needed. Definitely a keeper!

If it wasn’t for Diane Sadler I truly don’t believe we would be with Merry Maids. Diane is the BOMB.COM. Her customer service is just AWESOME along with her Professionalism. Even our dog Saphira loves her.

5 stars for excellent customer service. Today my house is sparkling! I requested a new team after the first one wasn't doing a thorough enough job. Not only did Merry Maids send me a new team, but Diane personally came out same day and cleaned the things that were missed by the first team. I'm extremely satisfied. Really have liked getting the Merry Maids team in to clean the house. They come in do a good job. They are reliable, efficient, and the communication from them is excellent.

I can’t say enough good things about the person who takes care of my mother’s home. She has become an integral member of the family. The quality of her work is second to none and her work ethic is just as exemplary. I wouldn’t want to have to ever not have her.
