For many many years, Bartlett has been considered the best in the Washington area. They continue to deserve this reputation. Our trees were (quite tall and too wide) were pruned back perfectly and just as important, everything was totally spotless when they finished. Honestly it was perfect at our Georgetown house.

I had two trees pruned and the crew did an excellent job. They were great - skilled, professional, and friendly. They cleaned up everything perfectly afterwards.

The quality this year has gone completely downhill since Joel Spano left. Lots of scheduling problems and lack of customer service is very apparent. Our Crape Myrtle’s are dying from an Aphid infestation. We are looking for another company. The prices for what you are now getting is beyond unacceptable!

UPDATE: John and Dylan are trying to make things right. Hopefully we can get back to the service we've had for years past. This was one of the few companies we dealt with that was never a hassle. That's why we were so confused as to what had happened. Especially since we've been customers since 2018.

I receive regular assessments for my trees from the arborist, Forests Bowen. The workers are courteous and clean up when they come. I have no complaints and recommend Bartlet tTee Service to others..

Bartlett provides a terrific service overall and was clear on what needed to be done without going overboard. The team had specific and measurable goals for both the immediate and longer-term and the crew that showed up to do the work was communicative, efficient, and very professional. Highly recommend!

Bartlett’s is more expensive than other services. But they are friendly, knowledgeable and flexible, which makes up that difference . I was very happy I went with them for backyard mature oak tree trimming and soil nutrition. Their forester walked the property with me and gave me great tree advice - not only about the tree I was concerned with. And their pruning crew was efficient and friendly. They even offered to cut and stack the downed branches into firewood for me!

We have used Bartlett Tree Service for decades for both our own property and our neighboring community property. They have provided expert advice and treated our trees and shrubs with the long-term in mind. Rather than continue to maintain unhealthy trees with expensive treatments, they recommend removal as in the case of three small trees of heaven. For mature trees that are important environmentally, the decision often goes to preserving them with extended care such as two tall pin oaks.. We really appreciate the professional advice and tree experts who execute with care and leave the properties perfectly cleaned up after trimming. Could not recommend more highly!

Do not use this company. They are unreliable. Ryan was meant to show up at our house at 10 am this morning. His office called at 9:45 saying he was 15 minutes late. He wrung the doorbell at 10:15, waited 30 seconds, and left. We opened the door and saw him drive away. We called the office immediately to ask him to come back, and they said he couldn't come back because he was already on another job. Don't rely on them to show up at the appointment you set.
