The crew at Bartlett Tree did a great job trimming a magnolia away from our house. A few years ago it browned out and looked to be dying, but with their careful work we trimmed it back and it is doing great. Thanks Forest Bowen and team!

They are one of the larger tree companies in the area and service some of very large propeties and institutions, but they provide the same quality service and responsiveness to individual homeowners.

From the first visit by the supervisor who inspected my project and proviced an estimate, all the way through the scheduleing of the work and the great work of the crew who came to do the job, everything went smoothly and efficiently. The crew did an excellent job, made sure all the debris was cleaned up and when they ground up the stump, I had several cubic yards of hardwook much to use in other areas of my garden and flower beds. You might think that a large organization like Bartlett with supervisors, administrative personnel, losts of heavy equipment to maintain, and large a staff would be more expensive than some of the smaller, independent landscapers, but this was not the case. The Bartlett quote was several hundred dollars less than some of the other quotes I received. Bartalett did an excellent job.

The. Bartlett team is an incredibly knowledgeable one and we’ve seen incredible results with our trees and the overall health of the growth on our property. We’d used other landscapers who trimmed our trees so badly that they nearly killed them, and Forest and his team has brought them back to full growth. I had an interaction with Brian at Davey Tree that left me pretty disappointed. The overall experience just didn’t feel very professional, and communication could have been a lot better. Things felt rushed and a bit disorganized, and I didn’t get the sense that my concerns were really being taken seriously.
