Matt was very quick and honest with his assessment of my tree problems and was able to provide a clear proposal. Their crew showed up when they said they would and did an amazing job.

Excellent job. Took down 3 trees and trimmed 2 other trees. They needed to get the shredder up next to our house in a very tight space and they were very careful to not damage anything. I was amazed at how careful and skilled they were when bringing down the trees.

Davey Tree is professional and shows great expertise in any task they are given. They arrive promptly and work efficiently. They are courteous and responsive to all requests. They are excellent.

The most important reason is that the arborist Tom Kolick gives excellent service with everything that we have asked him to do for us ! ! ! Our garden looks beautiful and all of our neighbors have commented on how wonderful it is ! We know that if we need anything taken care of Tom will do it perfectly ! ! !

I was referred to The Davey Tree Expert Company of Gaithersburg by a family member who had used them 7 years ago. I made appointments twice for tree inspection and trimming services and they failed to show up to the property for both of the appointments and provided poor customer service. Therefore, I suggest you avoid wasting your time and look for an alternative company.

My experience: I reached out to the contractor via online form on 10-20-2021. I received an email from Toby, the Client Experience Coordinator later that afternoon with a date and time for an appointment on a Monday morning, 11/1/2021. I replied to the email to confirm my interest and availability. Nobody showed up at the morning appointment time. I called the company after waiting 20 minutes and spoke with Toby on the phone, who advised there was no record of my appointment and offered to reschedule. We made a second appointment for later that day in the afternoon. Again, nobody showed up at the appointment time. I called back after waiting 15 minutes, and again spoke with Toby on the phone, who advised the Arborist was "running a few minutes late". It would have been nice to receive a courtesy call ahead of time to let me know the employee was running late. Before the call ended I tried to confirm if the Arborist was actually going to show up (I had taken off work for these appointments since I do not live at the residence and wanted to make sure I was not wasting my time or money). Instead of receiving an answer to my question I got hung up on. I waited another 30 minutes, but nobody had showed up yet. I decided to go back to work and wait for a call confirming arrival so I could go back out to meet them. I received no calls. I have not received any follow-up calls or emails from the company since, so I assume nobody ever showed up. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this using this company.

I was very impressed with Davey Trees. Jeremy was very prompt with scheduling and providing a detailed proposal for the work. The crew was excellent in performing the work. All work was completed as proposed and on schedule. It is great working with a responsive professional company.

The crew that came to my home was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable. Their work was done in half a day, and their clean up was perfect. Nice, polite, responsive, company and crew. They are operating under the standards of yesteryear; polite, caring, and a job well done. Nice to find these standards are not lost with Davey Tree Expert Company.

Davey Tree did an excellent job with the tree pruning work at our house. The crew was right on time. They were very professional. They performed all of the services we asked. And they did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I will use Davey Tree again and I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs tree service.

I have used Davey tree multiple times in the last few years. The managers and crews are first rate . Their equipment is well maintained and they are always conscious of safety and to take care of your property. my yard is extremely challenging with massive oaks and other mature trees. They work around the challenges and do not just hack down what is in the way. First rate and always recommend them to my neighbors.

Davey regularly feeds my dogwood and, when needed, trims it away from wires and solar panels. Their folks are always great & on time.

Excellent work, reasonable prices! I requested a quote over the weekend for a medium-sized tree removal. Their office staff got back to me first thing on Monday with multiple times for a consultation, their arborist was exactly on time, provided a quote in under an hour after our meeting, and they came and removed the tree on the next business day! Highly recommend Davey Tree Services for reasonably priced and extremely professional service.

Wilson injected our neighbor's tree to restrict fruit/flower drop. It's too early to speak to the results, but I found Wilson to be extremely friendly and helpful. He happily spent 20-30 minutes chatting with me about gardening and shared some tips based on his training as well as from his extensive experience as a home gardener. I hope he comes back!!

I was being charged for service. I did not know I had scheduled. I told them that I wasn’t going to have any more services. I will send an email. Someone telling me they’re gonna come out to do a service. I didn’t schedule it. I didn’t want it I don’t want it And I don’t know why Dave tree service is still scheduling me for services.

Jeremy Faoro and Shawn Siefers, at Davey Tree, have provided outstanding arborist service and tree care for our garden for many years. Their care of our trees and shrubs could not be better and we could not be happier.

Davey Tree experts were wonderful. They pruned some trees Some which were difficult to do (because of thick vines) and cut down a tree. They were professional and careful.

Jeremy , was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, and the crew did a fantastic job trimming our trees and cleaning up afterward. Highly recommend Davey Tree!
