I have used them for almost 2 years now, and I have been very happy with their service. Today, they completely went above and beyond, and I felt that I really needed to share with all of you.

Ms. Kathy ( the one who manages the schedule) and I were going back and forth about rescheduling my appointment. She had correctly told me the date we finally decided on, but for some reason I thought the date was next week November 19. So I was extremely surprised when the ladies were at my doorstep this morning.

After a quick conversation, where Ms. Kathy was apologetic and kind- I realized what had happened.

Unfortunately I had not picked up the house, and had no time to do so. And with 3 kids, and a husband, the house was a bit of a disaster. Ms. Kathy said not to worry, and that the ladies could still clean the house. I wasn't expecting too much because I know how tough it is to clean the house without it being picked up.

But when I came home later that day, I was really surprised at how much work they had done to get it all clean. They had picked up everything on the floor in my kids' rooms and placed it on the bed/shelves neatly. Whatever they could fold, they did. In the kitchen- my kids dirty lunchbox from the day before ( see I told you it was a mess! ) and breakfast dishes from that morning had all been cleaned and were sitting on the drying rack and all the counters were completely wiped clean. The dirty laundry that my kids had left on the bathroom floor was placed in the laundry room. And the allen wrenches I had left all over the counter in the bathroom were all nicely placed back in the container.

I think that one of the greatest simple pleasures in life is leaving a messy, dirty house and coming home to a lovely smelling clean house. If you feel the same way, and like to hire women that take pride in their work, you will want to hire Atlantic Maids.

We found this company at a neighbor’s recommendation and hired them spare of the moment, just before an event. Not only were they accommodating to our schedule they did an outstanding job. They were very thorough, responsive to calls, and detail-oriented. They also had the best price out of all the other local cleaning services we reached out to. In addition to the bathrooms, they also cleaned areas of the home the last maid service missed such as the stove top, kitchen area, and inside of the microwaves. We will be using them going forward for all of our cleaning services. We cannot say enough great things about this company.
