Louis just visited us and unclogged our kitchen sink. He was in and out in a half-hour and used a drop cloth to protect our kitchen floor. Reasonable price too. Thank you Stang!

Jason arrived early, and we invited him in. He put covers on his shoes to keep the floors clean. We had a partially blocked sink and he put a snake down it to clear it out. He finished within an hour. He answered our questions very well. We are very satisfied with the service.

I was so impressed by Jon, Jason, and Andrew for so many reasons, but suffice to say they met and exceeded my expectations in every way. They were extremely prompt, worked hard and on task in an efficient manner, and were honest to the core. I can’t say enough good things about them, and the next time I have any need for a plumber or plumbers, I know now exactly who to call, these guys. My interior main sewer line needed replacement, and the entire process went smooth as silk with absolutely outstanding communication, planning and coordination not only with me, but with my tenants as well. Jon also was quick to coordinate and arrange for repacking the line in a tight 2 week window on everybody’s schedule. Oorah Jon! Andrew was very knowledgeable and professional about installing our water heater. He answered all of our questions while doing his job with confidence and ease. I would highly recommend Stang to anyone who needs a plumber!

We had a strange rumbling noise that I eventually realized was happening after we ran water in the house. Jon and his team knew right away that it was a master pressure regulator and got it fixed immediately. They were very professional, wore masks and foot covers, and cleaned up perfectly after their work. I have used Stang Plumbing many times, from leaking valves to replacing my hot water heater. They are always great to deal with and do great work.

(9/7/2020) Emergency holiday call to Stang and, as always, we were able to get a plumber out quickly! We were delighted to have a familiar person arrive (Louis), he's done work here previously. Louis came in with a mask, courteously, really knows his stuff and exudes true respectful, customer service. Holiday rates are high (expected as they're paying overtime), our situation couldn't wait so we had no choice and it was worth it! We hate spending money but costs had all been stated up front on the phone, no surprises and we're smiling! You're an asset to Stang Plumbing, Thank you Louis!

Our water heater began leaking water, last week and after getting the water up and draining the old water heater I called several companies. Stang said they had someone available after finishing another job early, so I was happy to get replacement with new heater the next day. Jason M. came out and was highly professional, did a great job and did it fast with little disruption to our household. I would definitely recommend Stang Plumbing, and Jason in particular!

Louis from Stang is a lifesaver. Our basement was flooding on Sunday night. We called an emergency plumber. He told us to unplug our full basement freezer and get some sandbags (are there 24 hour Home Depots I don’t know about?). He said he would come back at 10am the next morning to try to figure out the source of the problem. I got back online, called Stang, and at 9-10pm on a Sunday night, Louis showed up at our house. Within 15 minutes he had figured out that one of our sump pumps was out and the other was on its last legs. He got one running and solved the immediate source of the flooding. We had him come back a week later and replace both sump pumps. This is the guy to call in an emergency!

Beware of Stang Plumbing they appear nice and super helpful until the bill is written. I was charged $7500 for a $1600 tankless water heater. When I asked for a breakdown of the charges I was told, installs are not itemized; there's no time for that. Not even labor was listed for this 7 hour job! When I asked how he (the owner, Jon) arrived at $7500 when they are much cheaper. The owner replied, it's a markup, I gotta get paid somehow!! There was no serial number or model number. I had to request that info from him the next day. There is a warranty on my new water heater but I don't have those documents either! I've been swindled by the best!! Beware! One of the nicest scammers you'll ever meet.

We were very happy with the service we got for a drain blockage and an outdoor faucet replacement. Jason was great, explained things in detail, and went above and beyond to help us.

I had a leak in my boiler return pipe that was located under my basement floor. Stang was very responsive and came out immediately to give me an estimate. Jon was very knowledgeable and was able to fix the leak without tearing up my entire basement. Jon and mark were great to work with and they both did a great job with the repair, leaving as little mess as possible. I could not be happier with their work.

They don’t do bad work, but their prices are high and management has an unfriendly attitude. You can expect to pay $300/hour. You can expect the work will take longer than you might reasonably expect, I was charged 2 hours for a simple job. You can expect they’ll charge $100 for $20 worth of PVC at retail prices. You can expect to pay an extra $50 if they snake your drain, even though you’re already paying them $300/hour. And you can expect to pay an extra 4% for their credit card processing fee because they demand immediate payment. Would not recommend or use again.

Stang is a great company with great staff. They responded to an issue over the weekend -- an emergency with our boiler -- and got it fixed. In the past, they have troubleshooted complex drain problems until they were fixed with a high degree of dedication to solving the problem permanently. Their pricing is very reasonable and they didn't overcharge in the case of the difficult drain pipe despite how much time it took to get it right. In particular, I want to call out Louis Bingham for being a total pro in all respects.

Stang plumbing replaced our water heater today. We informed them in advance that we need same size of heater because of its congested location under kitchen counter top. However, after they replaced the heater we can not put the counter top back to its place. Because water lines are too high.
Other than that tech did a good job

We had an intermittent, but very bad, smell that seemed to be coming from our air vents on hot humid days. Countless plumbers and other contractors could not find the source ...for over 15 years! Stang was able to find the problem (a broken vent pipe within a wall) and make the quick fix. The job was done in the Fall and although the problem appeared to be resolved, I decided to wait until it was summer-hot again to be sure. This week has been in the upper 90s with heavy humidity and yet...no bad smells. We are eternally grateful and would recommend Stang to everyone.

This is the fourth time over the years, that I have used Stang Plumbing. One time for a leak in the basement, once for a new kitchen sink and faucet install, with me supplying the faucet and the sink, another time for repair of a leak under the kitchen sink. And this time for a garbage disposal install, with Stang plumbing supplying the disposal. Each time they were responsive with an upfront price quote. Each time they arrive the next day as promised. All their personnel are polite and professional. Each time the job was done right and the technician left the job site neat and clean when they finished. I think their prices are resonable and competitive, and I do like that they have senior citizen's discount. Stang Plumbing will always be my first choice, when it comes to my needs for any plumbing work.
