I had put off fixing a broken heating system because I just didn’t want to deal with the big chain HVAC company I had used in the past. I always felt like they weren’t fixing problems so much as maximizing their revenue. Quality surprised me. Without being a gold member or a preferred customer, their team was at my house, squeezing into a tight corner, replacing an induction fan. They were so fast and way to work with, I had them back two days later to install a much dreamed about whole house humidifier. Again I was surprised they could get it done so soon and at half the price than I expected. Quality is just that and will be my go-to for all things HVAC!

They understood a non working furnace in the cold weather was important and showed up within a day of my call. They diagnosed the issue, handled it and all is working now. I am very happy with their work

PLEASE READ MY REVIEW:

I recently had some work done by Demetrios the owner of Quality HVAC. When I got to Google to post my review, I noticed a couple of 1-Star reviews with people disappointed in their service. It seems like the concerns were around “emergency service” and availability. I didn’t see reviews complaining of the actual work.

I want to chime in and give anyone interested in listening some VALUABLE feedback about this company and Demetrios.

1. I recently had a new furnace/AC system installed. The pricing was the best and the installation was done quickly and to my complete satisfaction. He installed filter vents instead of the typical filter replacement at the unit because this keeps the ducts clean. It would make sense to install the filters BEFORE the dirty air gets into the duct work keeping them clean. Please see my pics of the vent cover that easily opens with 2 clips to replace a 14 X 14 filter. In addition to this advice and better filtering system, I saved $2,500 with his installation over the next best quote.

2. On another occasion, my beach house in Ocean City, Maryland had stop running cold air. Two different companies charged me $200 each to do an inspection and each told me they could not find the leak and that they recommended replacing the entire system. One eventually agreed to just replace the outside heat pump fan unit for $3,500 plus $1,500 in refrigerant/cooling gas. My TRANE unit is a little older and uses an older refrigerant that is more expensive to replace. The full system needed 15-20 gallons (that’s what I remember from all the companies) at a price of over $100 per gallon. Frustrated, I called Demetrios and he agreed to go to Ocean City during his family vacation and inspect my system. He found that a “king valve” outside the house at the heat pump was the problem and replaced that valve for $125 and added the refrigerant for a total repair under a $1,500. I saved $9,000 over one company (the largest in Ocean City) and $3,000 with the other company. I was mad about others trying to rip me off and am glad that Demetrios fixed my unit correctly and affordable.

Demetrios is a hard worker. He started this business and it’s growing. He is a very nice man, knows his trade, and is an HONEST person. If you need a new system or want an HONEST man to inspect your system I cannot stress enough that you should contact him. Give him a call first and if he cannot get to you in a fast enough time, then call someone else. He is worth the wait. You cannot put enough value on honesty and integrity. I highly recommend Demetrios and Quality HVAC. You will get a fair price for expert work without taking advantage of you. He is NOT going to misinform you with the intent of overselling you what you need or inflate any repair.

My experience in Ocean City was without question the most eye opening experience in my life dealing with a HVAC company.

I have used these guys several times and I cannot say enough good things about this team. Finding great tradespeople with a focus on customer service and professionalism, while they maintain their skills in their craft is hard, but Demetrius and Dominick are simply incredible. Dominick was our technician when our ac stopped working and it was tough to find the issue however he was persistent and knowledgeable and great to work with. They will be our maintenance company moving further. They were really great to us and it’s refreshing to have such honesty in a company. 10/10 using again.

Had an issue with my heat pump not starting. Got a very quick appointment and the guys spent time diagnosing an uncommon issue and repaired my system quickly. They explained in detail the issue and got my heat pump working. Thanks again!

The team at Quality HVAC are always fair and prompt. During the recent ice storm, we needed a service call for our heating unit. The team at Quality were able to schedule us for an appointment within a few hours and offered very fair, regular-rate pricing instead of surging prices like some other companies may do during a storm. These guys are a rarity- they really stand by their work and actually care about their customers, reputation, and integrity. Our contractor wanted to use someone else during a reno that included two new hvac units, but we insisted on Quality, and I’m so happy we did. In total we have had 3 hvac systems installed with them, and I recommend them to everyone. A++++++++
