George Bailey was fantastic. Fixed up some light switches quickly and left everything even better than asked. Would call again no question.

The technician than visited my home was excellent. Troy was courteous, respectful, professional and friendly. I appreciated the time that he took to assess the job and explain everything to me.

The electrician was great but the company was terrible. I had an 8am appointment. I was in the shower at 7:45 when they called. When I got out of the shower at 7:50 they had cancelled my appointment. When I called to inquire, they said they would send someone over and would call me right back. 30 minutes later no call. Called to complain because I got a text saying by 5pm. No way. Called again asked to speak to a supervisor. Would not connect me. The electrician came out. Great knowledgeable guy but gave me an estimate almost double of McGonathy. Would not use these folks.

George was a true professional, courteous and worked quickly to resolve our power issue. He made recommendations about maintenance we should consider in the near future, but not in a pushy way. Was so impressed that we signed up for F.H. Furr’s service plan.

Phenomenal. I can’t say enough kind things about Bernard. He was friendly, efficient, and thorough. Would recommend to anyone. We had a random leak start and couldn’t find where it was coming from as it seemed to be coming from the floor. It ended up being the toilet.

Sean stopped by today for my fall HVAC inspection. I was very pleased with his service! He was punctual, friendly, and worked swiftly but also took the time needed to perform a quality inspection. He gave me peace of mind that my furnace is ready for the winter and gave me some cleaning/maintenance recommendations to consider in the future without applying a bunch of sales pressure. Home maintenance/repair experiences can be stressful, especially during hard times, and I really appreciate Sean making this a very positive experience!

William did an amazing job going through my house and identifying safety issues with electrical. William has also replaced my main panel box and upgraded it which was an amazingly complex job that he finished in one day. Would highly recommend.
Bernard on the Plumbing side worked incredibly hard and dedicated on replacing toilets, fixing plumbing and minimizing disruption. Great Service and Quality Work.

I had a great experience with FH Furr! Dale Kesecker was outstanding – professional, knowledgeable, and honest. He thoroughly inspected my entire boiler system and clearly explained why it was unsafe to keep using it. I appreciated his transparency and expertise, and he even arranged a same day consultation for a replacement unit. Excellent service from start to finish – highly recommend!

Bill was awesome he was friendly knowledgeable explained everything he was efficient fast quality work. Recommended the preventative maintenance program which I signed up for the discount I got today of 15% paid for my first year. Today. He did 4 things for me he converted my hardwire oven power wire to a wall outlet and a new cord for my new oven. He also installed 3 new wall outlets. I highly recommend them.

Following up from my earlier review about the terrible scheduling and service. Finally got someone to come out after they canceled for the 3rd time. Technician said I needed to replace the air filters (which they did need replaced) and wanted to sell me air filters for each system for >$100 a piece. Since these are specialty sized filters they aren't exactly cheap and the brand they were selling does charge that price online.

HOWEVER, I have been a member of the Premier Program with Service 1st Financial. When I called them to buyout my program, they went through all the things that are supposed to be included with my enrollment in the program. "completely worry free, you don't have to pay for any maitenance on the systems, YOU GET FREE AIR FILTERS every year". I had already decided that the best financial decision was to buy it out now, but I made a point of telling them that F.H. Furr has been charging for air filters AND maintenance on my system since this started. Hoping that those notifications that "this call may be recorded" actually happens.

Debating shooting an e-mail to an attorney as I can't imagine I'm the only person they have been scamming like this through the Service 1st Financial Premier Program.

*The last time I reached out to their number to "call so we may address your concerns", I just reached a generic call center who then "transferred" my call which resulted in being on hold until the call just disconnected. Not going to waste my time a 2nd time on that only to get no where. AVOID!

Recently Nick Rossi, consultant from
F.H. Furr HVAC, assessed our old HVAC system and provided options and recommendations for a replacement with new HVAC system. We greatly appreciate Nick’s helpful advice & recommendations. We received reasonable estimate for repairs and opted to proceed with the replacement. Thank you!

Jayln was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the issue with my furnace within 15 minutes of arriving and provided a solution just as quickly. F.H. Furr has some of the best HVAC technicians in the DMV.

Update: Jayln did a great job with the installation of my new furnace part! I couldn't be happier with the service.

Outstanding Service! My heater blew in the middle of the night and they came out first thing...and i decided to also get AC and water heater as all were old as hell (over 22yrs). They didn't pressure me, offered spaces heaters, and scheduled me for full install next day. Thank you so much for treating me like a person!!

George was very informative and helpful when going over the work I was looking to get done. Providing the full cost and breakdown, instead of an estimate that could change, for what it would be to add a dedicated line to my panel box. Very professional and relatable.

Thank you FH Furr and William Jones again. He recommended changing my smoke/carbon monoxide detectors as they exceeded the 10-year battery warranty. After changing battery -I decided to act on his advice. Thank you -10 new smoke/carbon monoxide detectors (wired) with new Kidde equipment with a 10-year battery life. The updated technology includes voice activated alarm commands. No more chirping, ladders and battery changing for 10 years! I also, followed his advice and had him install the GFI outlet on the garbage disposal. Getting ready for winter season and making sure alarms, electrical, furnaces -are ready and efficiently running for the season. Thank you William for your courteous and professional service. We needed an electrian to replace a doorbell transformer, this is first time using this company F.H. Furry. They have a tracking system where it let you know how far out they are before they get to your house, particularly liked that. George the electrian very professional and knowledgeable in his work and told us about what the company does, we signed a contract with them this year. I need George today. Thanks

Endy was very helpful and polite in trying to resolve my electrical issue. He explained things well and was very courteous. Once he determined that my issue actually needed an HVAC technician instead, he made sure someone came out the same day to try to resolve it. Would happily work with him again.
