We had a leak behind our wall and Wilmer was able to locate and fix the pinhole leaks quickly even though the pipes were in an awkward location right up against the wall. Wilmer was very pleasant and professional and knew what he was doing. We are very happy with the repairs done.

I hired Dennis to work on my utility sink, repair some copper lines. I know nothing about plumbing so I had a couple of questions. He didn't want to reply, leaving me waiting a couple of mins for each answer. I think anyone that has a complete stranger coming in their home has a right to know what exactly they're doing, especially when you hear them upset about the work they're doing. What bothered me on top of that was he didn't even bother to put on shoe covers!! It had been raining and muddy outside. Granted he cleaned his feet at the door, but none the less, I don't know where you're shoes have been nor would I like for you to track germs in my house. If I hadn't been such a nice guy, I would've told him to go back and put some shoe covers on. I'm sure I'm not the first to be in an awkward position, telling someone who is coming to help you, to get out and cover your disgusting shoes. That should have been a given. He ended up repairing my lines but they came out crooked. I guess he was in a hurry to make the proper measurements.

We had a great experience working with Dennis to install a new water heater. He took the time to explain all the options to me and was patient as I clarified and re-clarified. He was professional and has reasonable rates, and we will definitely keep using him for other projects.

Dennis recently replaced our water heater and brought everything up to code. Excellent job. Dennis also did many jobs for my clients when I was a realtor. Does the job right for a fair price. This guys knows his stuff! :-)

Among the many good choices for local plumbing services, I recently discovered Chris and Son of Kensington.

I had two jobs that needed attention, and I was really pleased with the prompt and courteous approach, from the very helpful office manager, to the friendly and skillful plumbers.

One thing I appreciated, in addition to the skillful plumbing, was Chris's willingness to carefully detail the nature of the problem, and the best path to the solution. For me, it's fun and enlightening to get "educated" on these issues, since it helps demystify what plumbing is, and how it works. Chris has a real knack for explaining this stuff.

I thought the pricing was fair (relative to the sum total of other experiences I have had in this area). I did not get surprised or "sticker shock" at the conclusion of the jobs, since (1) Chris was happy to explain the structure of the charges up front and (2) their prices appear to be based on real costs (with no unexpected ad-hoc up-charges at the conclusion of the job). I think, most importantly, I felt like I got equivalent value for value, and I simply cannot ask for more than that.

I happily recommend Chris and Son.
