We notified Washington home doctors about a leak in our basement from the upper level. Harry came to inspection the problem. He identified the problem. I was given an estimate and scheduled the work. Harry and charles responded to do the work within 48 hours. They were professional and completed the work on the same day. They cleaned our space after the repair. This was a major repair. I highly recommend this company to anyone who maybe in need of plumbing services. They are great.

The team came at the time we asked and quickly began disconnecting the old water heater. It was removed and the new water heater brought up to the attic and connected. All of the team members were very professional and respectful. The craftsmanship was outstanding. I would highly recommend them for anyone needing a hot water heater replaced

My review is a story that I hope you'll appreciate . . .

I recently sold my home in Lanham, and had a closing date of August 31, with a walk-through on August 30. I arrived home early morning August 28 to find standing water in my recently-renovated basement, just outside my utility room, inches from the new carpet! Panicstricken, I shut off the water, and with my wet vac in one hand, pulled up the Angi app on my phone, in the other.

Two contractors responded via text message. The first could come out in 30 minutes--I was grateful! The second, someone named Al, responded via text message a few minutes later, offering to send someone out, also. While I was responding to Al's message, a call came in from another phone number, someone named Earl.

Earl wanted some information on my system, but in my panicked state, I just wanted a ballpark on the cost to get an idea of the potential expense. Earl said that he needed more information and couldn't just throw out a price. Now, I'm in sales, and this felt like the beginnings of a sales pitch, for which, at that moment, I had ZERO patience. So, I abruptly ended the call. He called back and sent text messages--even leaving a recording, offering an apology for our difficult beginning--but I wasn't answering calls or text messages from that number.

The first contractor showed up on time, and after a few minutes of generally assessing the type of water heater I had, and needing to go to Home Depot to pick it up, gave me an installed price of about $2,500, I told him that I would make a decision in the next hour and get back to him. Truthfully, he didn't convey the most confidence, so I decided to continue my frantic search.

The second contractor, Al, called to get an idea of what I needed. While on the call with Al, someone knocked on my front door. IT WAS EARL!! In the boldest display of chutzpah (and persistent salesmanship, I might add!), he actually showed up at my door, apologized again and offered his services. The company logo on his shirt was the same as the company Al represented, so clearly, this tag-team approach was successful.

To conclude this lengthy tale, Earl did a masterful job removing the old water heater, was calm and forgiving of my rude treatment on the phone, and set everything up for Al and a young apprentice, Jeremy (I believe), who also did a masterful job installing the new unit. The total was more than the other estimate, but Earl conveyed confidence, a knowledge of, and familiarity with my system, and assurance that the work would meet my expectations. He was right!

Everything was finished in under three hours and they literally saved the closing on my house. I've since recommended Hot Water Express to my realtor and others. They have my HIGHEST recommendation and I know they'll impress you, too.

Nothing but praise for the Hot Water Express team. The 17 year old water heater at my moms house sprang a leak on a Tuesday evening and we had a fun time cleaning and drying the basement. I placed a request for assistance (Angi) on Wednesday morning. Al from Hot Water Express got back to me within minutes. He asked several probing questions about the situation and had a very reasonable quote to me shortly thereafter. On the very same day, he and his assistant Jeremy visited my mom's house and knocked out the new system install within a few hours. WSSC came out a few days later and inspected the work and verified what I already knew ... these guys do exceptional work. Many thanks to Al, Jeremy and Earl. I have the peace of mind that my mom is not going to have any hot water issues in the foreseeable future.

I was very pleased with the customer service. The turnaround time to remove my broken hot water heater and replace it with a new one was very fast (within one day)! My wife and I called numerous companies with regards to our hot water heater. Some gave astronomical offers, with very little guarantee, while others never followed through as promised!

When we spoke with Earl, he was very confident and reassuring, as to what his company offered. There were no hidden agendas with regards to contract, nor were there any hidden fees. Everything was upfront, therefore, we knew what we were getting. On the day of service, Ali and Jeremy pulled in front of our home. What we appreciated about Ali is that he asked permission to pull into the driveway, instead of just driving in. Once they got situated, Ali explained the entire process in detail. He answered any questions before and during the installation. His assistant coach, Jeremy, was also exceptional with following detailed instructions!

During the entire installation, he was educating us on everything that we needed to know in order to maintain the level of quality conditioning for our unit. After completion, they stayed an extra 30 to 45 minutes to answer all questions until we were satisfied. We felt like we were back in school again, with a Master Instructor!!! (MIC DROP)

My hot water heater went out on Friday after Thanksgiving I made the call to this company n the next day they were at my house installing another one. They were prompt, professional and excellent. Boy I really appreciate all their above time and service. I thought that we’d to wait until Monday, but Earl was at my early on Saturday morning and we are so grateful. They are the Best Ever.

I had posted an negative review about Hot Water Express. I would like to first of all say that i was upset when I wrote the post, I would like everyone to know that the overall workmanship installing my hot water tank was very well done. Please if anyone read my previous review, disregard the post and know that Hot Water Express does great quality work and I WOULD DEFINITELY USE THEM AGAIN AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. They deserve to be a 5star company for a reason. They take pride in there work.

This is the second time that I use this service. I used them over 5 years ago for a water heater and a furnace. I used them for a toilet replacement service was great always on time. I would recommend them highly. If any problems arise Earl is there to correct it. I highly recommend them.

So very pleased with Earl and his team! We started having issues with our solar hot water heater last March and finding someone that knew about our system was challenging. Luckily, I stumbled upon Hot Water Express and Earl came out right away and understood the system and helped us as best he could for the time being. He advised we would need a new heater, but we were hoping to hold off as long as possible, as we had just replaced our AC units. Fast forward to August and the heater started to leak.
