I first met Van in July 2025 when I needed bathroom faucet and valve repairs. What impressed me was how responsive he was, his patience, his attention to detail, and how he respected my property. Since then, I have been reaching out to him for all of my plumbing needs to include replacing my hot water heater in August and recently repairing my wobbly 2009 kitchen faucet. He hasn’t disappointed me yet!! Therefore, I will continue to ask him to help me with my plumbing needs!

Quoted a 5000+ estimate for a job that’s 785.00 total. I did call back and pay for them coming out. In this day and time with the world in such a bad place to think that a company would try to get over on older people is extremely sad.

Called for a poorly flushing toilet. I understood when they missed the first appointment but to then randomly show up a day before the second one threw my plans off. On top of that, I was told I needed to replace a flapper I just put on the night before and given a $145 estimate to replace a $15 dollar toilet handle. I just got it on Amazon and replaced it myself. That solved my issue.

Bernie and his team are honest, capable, and hard working. His prices are always fair and if there's a problem they will fix it. They usually come out the same day I call. I recommend them to everyone in Laurel.

Had a fantastic experience with them this week. Made a call over the weekend for a minor repair and got a call back first thing on Monday to schedule an appointment. They offered a same day slot, but I wasn't available unfortunately. We made an appointment for Friday morning and the technician showed up ready to work. Didn't catch the technicians name, but he was helpful, friendly, and got the job done quickly and efficiently. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a local plumber.

Service: two valve replacements. Dryer vent replacement.

Called these guys out for some minor repairs regarding a leaking washing machine water supply valve. They showed up ready to work, and were timely in completion of the job. Plumber was awesome, and even helped us replace a dryer vent while they were here. Work was clean and well done, and showed respect for our home. The plumber didn't have to help us with the dryer vent, as we didn't ask for that. But they went above and beyond expectations and helped sort that out for us too. Now we have a dryer that is safe to use as well as functional washing machine.
Locally owned and operated as well. 10/10 we have a preferred plumber now.

Laurel Plumbing is excellent! I've used them several times, and they are always responsive on the phone, polite, friendly, on time (or early), and they do the job quickly and professionally. Kevin came out recently to fix a clogged drain. He took the time to show us what we could do ourselves to keep the drain from clogging, then he looked at two other trouble spots and fixed those too! He only charged us for the one problem, which we really appreciated. We have a home warranty company, but we'd rather pay for Laurel Plumbing to come out any day. That's how good they are. Kevin Burke is a very skilled technician. He assessed the problem, and gave me a detailed explanation of what needed to be done. When he finished, he showed me the old drain line and the cause of the leak. Price was fair. The work area was free of debris. Laurel Plumbing will be my first call for any future plumbing issues.

Let me start with the fact that I changed my plumbing appointment with Bernie so many times that I was sure he would stop accommodating me but he rolled with my situation. Bernie and his team are absolutely fantastic and the job was flawless. Laurel Plumbing will be the only company I use from now on.

We've had badly unbalanced heat from hot water baseboard radiators on our upper floor for years, and had both Heidler and Staton teams look at it for remedy. Staton's main suggestions involved moving the thermostat or try rebalancing by cutting out some of the aluminum radiator fins along the pipe in the warmest room, which I spent a few hours doing this winter. I was referred to Laurel plumbing. They arrived exactly when they said they would, diagnosed the issue in about 15 minutes (a closed return valve, two of the zones have a single thermostat-controlled head for outgoing water but two returns each), and with a half-turn of a flathead, solved the issues to a first approximation. I will call them back for any plumbing issue in the future (Annapolis, MD).

I would give Laurel Plumbing 10 stars if I could! Today (8/1/23) Kevin came and replaced a leaking sink in my upstairs guest bathroom. He arrived promptly at 9:00 a.m. as scheduled and had the job all done by 10:00 a.m. He replaced the sink, the faucets and the trap. When he called me upstairs to see the finished job I was shocked! It was perfect and the new sink looked like it had been there for years! I was a VERY happy camper. And that's not all, as Kevin was leaving, I told him that I had a toilet that was not shutting off and asked him if he could take a look at it. He immediately went back upstairs to the Master Bedroom toilet with me and quickly identified the flapper as the problem. He then ran out to his truck, got a new flapper, and replaced it. The toilet is working fine now. I asked him to add the toilet repair cost to the sink replacement bill, and his response was, "Don't worry about it." So Kevin repaired my toilet for free! What kindness!

I happened to find Laurel Plumbing on my Nextdoor Community List-serve where I noticed that all their reviews from neighbors were excellent. From now on I will be using Laurel Plumbing for ALL my plumbing issues. They are reliable, professional, punctual , reasonably priced, AND kind!

Laurel plumbing is the best. I have had them at my house a few times for multiple reasons and they always show up fast, they’re friendly, do a great job and, leave the area cleaner than they found it.
