I walked into the Pasadena showroom knowing little and looking for guidance. Michael Galvin was there to assist. He spent 20 minutes walking me through options for my project. They were very upfront with pricing and setting expectations. When the time came for the install they communicated electronically and by phone. They showed up when they said they would (typically on the early side of the 2 hour window) and did great work. There was a total of 3 trips to the house to complete the install and chimney chase build. All of the techs were polite and efficient. Highly recommend for fireplace and chimney needs. Very satisfied.

I was impressed with Complete Chimneys.
First, I have called multiple chimney sweeps during the busy season and either received no reply or an unacceptable appointment date (#monthsaway).
I made an online appointment for sweeping my brick fireplace on Kent Island. The morning of the appointment, I called to make sure I was on their books. I was not, but Sara, quickly fixed the issue and sent two technicians out within 2 hours. I had a sweep and camera inspection. The technicians showed me directly on the camera the issues with my chimney and recommended I not use the fireplace. All estimates and photos of chimney were sent via e-mail. However, they agreed to roll the price of my sweep and camera inspection into the price of a new insert and install.
I was already looking to install a Wood Burning insert in the future. Joe and Joe set me up with a detailed complete estimate on the spot. In addition, while speaking with Joe, I asked a question that he did not know the answer to. He admitted that he was a new technician and would not give me just any answer. Joe contacted a more experienced technician and got the correct answer. I really respected that.
Once I finally figured out which wood burning insert I wanted for the family. Sara set me up with and appointment the next day at a great price. The gentlemen that installed the insert were professional and courteous. They also re-caulked the chimney flashing without question and for free.

They have always done a good job with reasonable prices for returning customers! We’ve had cleanings, installation and repairs done by complete chimneys. Repairs have lasted. Suggestions of what may need to be replaced in the next year or so without pushing for immediate replacement. Good workmanship and fair pricing as well as local!!

Nice job! A team of three workers showed up at the scheduled time and quickly began working. Entire job took about 4 hours and all workers were always busy working The finished installation looks excellent. Ability of the workers to fit a slightly different size fireplace insert into the same space, and re-use the existing mantle was a big plus. The only defect was scratching of the fireplace hearth granite due to lack of placing any protective layer (such as piece of cardboard) over the granite floor before dragging out the old fireplace. I am purchasing a scratch "pen" and hope to be able to cover some of the scratches. See 3 pics for OLD unit, NEW unit, and granite scratches.
