Capital Cleaners did a great job restoring an old wool rug I found in an antique shop. The rug was filthy with staining and they managed to make it look wonderful again. The staff is friendly and informative. I highly recommend them.

What a great family owned business that takes pride in their work. I have spent the last 2 days with them not only purchasing equipment for my Rug Spa in NC but learning from their experience and expertise. If I lived in the MD area I would trust them and their process 100%.

I took a fifty-year-old braided rug made by my late mother to be repaired and cleaned. Due to age and damage, I feared it was not possible to do a good job. The rug was returned in great shape, and the owners were polite and professional. Their price was very reasonable.

I was impressed with the care and cleaning of our Persian rugs. Upon a detailed inspection of our silk Persian Qum rug, it was recommended that additional repairs were needed, Hamid Wardak made them with skill and if it was his own rug. The additional time required was worth it. Just as important, was the attention made to our machine made rugs. They were cleaned with the same care as the Persian rugs. Picked up rugs on August 7, 2024. Gave them a deposit of $900.00 it’s August 30, 2024 been trying to call and no one answers. Also stopped by 2 times during their work hours and no one is there. Met a lady as I was approaching the door and she asked me if I worked there and I told her no. She has been trying to contact them for 5 days now she told me. What’s going on?

Capitol Rug was one of the few places that could clean my flokati rug, and they did a wonderful job. I will bring all my other rugs to them for the same expert care. The owner and his son were a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them for your rug needs.

I found them online when searching for area rug cleaning. I called and spoke with Lisa who was very helpful and informative.

I dropped off my rugs and saved 10% by doing that. The rugs were ready when promised and someone loaded them back in my car.

I had been dragging my feet on getting my area rug cleaned. Now I question why I didn’t do it sooner! Rug looks brand new. Great communication and service from the Capital rug team. Some discounts for dropping off your rug as well as a military discount. Definitely would recommend!

I had Capital clean (4) antique rugs. They were great from the first call to the drop off--communicative, punctual, and most importantly great product. The colors truly popped; they worked real magic. I would highly recommend Capital and will be a repeat customer.

We have had many rugs cleaned here, wool, poly, etc. Have also had one repaired. They always do an excellent job. Now that they’ve moved to a new location (same business center, but in a different spot) they now have a better spot and are easier to find. Definitely recommend them for all your rugs.

Not sure how they have 5 stars. I made appointment for a pick up for 2 rugs which they missed twice. I asked for 3rd appointment and they told me they don't pick up for a small order like mine so I asked for exception because I had already waited twice for them. So they picked up rugs and after about 4 weeks I called to see if rugs would be ready in 1 week for pick up and they guy left voicemail and guaranteed rugs would be ready. I arrived and they were not ready so they said they'd drop them off in a week. Made another appointment for drop off but at the time of the appointment they called and said 1 rug got damaged in cleaning process so they would miss drop off appointment and try to fix rug and would deliver following week. Rugs dropped off today but 1 rug the color bled. It wasn't a very expensive rug ($250) but decorators designed the room around the rug so not easy to find replacement. I was not charged for either rug to be cleaned but still a series of missteps from start to finish.

Very happy with my rug cleaning experience. The job was completed on time and the rugs meet my expectations including getting rid of the order from animal.accidents. I also feel the cost was reasonable and would definitely use Capital Rug Cleaning again!

What a joy it is to find someone who really knows what they are doing! I've had 5 oriental rugs cleaned by Capital Rug Cleaning in the past 6 months ( yes,I had a flood!) and each one has come out looking almost like new. They are quick,professional and a pleasure to deal with. I will not be going to anyone else for carpet cleaning. 10 out of 10 AND a gold star!

The rug I left with them had been outside on the porch for a long time with a lot of ground in dirt and a small spot of mildew, but otherwise was a beautiful 5 x 7 Tropical print rug. I was contacted within the timeframe agreed on and I went and picked up the rug and once I got it home and put it in the room I was so impressed with how clean the rug was and it looked just great -Big difference from when I Mischel he dropped it off. I definitely recommend them for great customer service and great quality

They gave a reasonable quote and then met it in a very timely manner. On a smaller rug they gave a discount for me bringing it in. On a larger oriental rug they did a pickup and delivery, which included moving some heavy furniture which I could not have done. They called in advance an the crew were friendly and professional. Also I was able to contact the business by phone without hassle or delays. Overall very satisfied.

These guys were awesome. I started by only having them clean 1 rug to see if they did a good job and if they were knowledgeable to clean my more expensive handmade persian rugs. I found their prices to be very reasonable and I trusted them to clean ALL my beloved persian rugs. The people I worked with were great too. I highly recommend them. Also, they did not try to upsell me services or products I did not need. They simply informed of other services they offer.

They cleaned 4 large and 2 small rugs and cut 4 pads for the large rugs. 2 of the large rugs were in fairly rough shape and all 6 of them were dirty from 2 cats and a dog. They also did some repairs to one of the small rugs.
I am extremely happy with the quality of the work they performed. All 6 rugs are very clean and soft, and the pads were cut perfectly.
It was a pleasure doing business with Hamid and his son. They are very professional, courteous and take the time to explain the cleaning process in depth.
