Rich was very responsive, accommodated my very tight schedule and he was able to remove pet stains that a prior steam cleaner couldn't get out. His work ethic is truly amazing. For example, I asked if he did power washing. He told me yes, he could, but he doesn't do it often, and I would be better hiring someone who does that regularly and recommended another person for me, including sending their contact info. I trust those who not only are good at what they do, but know what they don't do as well. That is the sign of a true professional. Thank you Rich for taking such great care of our carpets.

As first-time homeowners, we wanted clean the carpets from the previous occupants before we moved in. Rich (in Laurel, MD) helped walk us through the process and was flexible around our schedule since we were living out of state. For anyone inexperienced in carpet cleaning (like I was), make sure you document any dark marks or discoloration in the carpets, particularly on the edges/corners of the room. Due to the additional cleaning necessary, it can increase the price, and it’s easier to get an accurate quote if you provide that information up front. Thankfully, Rich clarified pricing once noticed, showed us some small areas where we could use extra cleaning, and recommended places where we probably didn’t need to spend more money on (like closet edges that will be covered by furniture). We also got a discount since the house didn’t have furniture in it yet, so the total cost was still lower than other competing quotes. He also provided some helpful tips for us as new homeowners. It was a smooth and pleasant experience, and I’m so glad we got it done before moving in. The house was fine before, but now that the carpets look (and smell) so much better, it really feels like a new house.

Rich runs a great carpet business. I called and he sent a crew in less than 24hrs. I had family coming to visit and was desperate. He understood the calling and took care of us. Our basement carpet was irreparably stained after someone left a window open and the rain made the black paint on the back sofa legs bleed into the carpet. Ahmed and Ahmed (yes! two Ahmeds for the price of one!) from My Carpet & Cleaning Restoration took care of the problem. We had a piece of remnant and they were able to cut it into three strips to match the grain of the carpet on the floor, and then patch it in so that you couldn't see a seam. They were wonderful!

We had family coming to visit and carpeting that needed to be seen cleaned, and I found Rich through NextDoor - he absolutely lived up to the positive reviews I had read. He was friendly and thorough, experienced and really knows his stuff! We wish we had found him years ago - our carpets looked amazing after his renewal/cleaning process. The tough stains we had grown used to seeing were gone. The carpet dried quickly. The entire carpet was vastly improved. (He was also very sweet with our dog :) Highly recommend!

Rich has been cleaning my carpets since I moved in my house some years ago. He is very professional and takes him time when cleaning. The carpets always look fresh and newer after he is done. Rich arrived promptly and was professional, friendly, and efficient. He explained everything he would do and then got right to work cleaning the standing water from my unfinished basement. He then used a solution to kill any bacteria and other nasties that could infest the concrete floor. He took care to advise me to keep my cat from the basement until the floor was dry. I was totally happy with his work and would hire him again.

Herbert from My Carpet Cleaning & Restoration Services did an excellent job in our Ellicott City, MD home. He removed mounds of pet hair from our carpets, vacuumed and then shampooed them. He took his time, and was very thorough. The difference is amazing. Our whole home looks brighter, and is clean and fresh. I highly recommend this service. Rich is wonderful to work with. I appreciate how he communicated with me from the beginning to the end. He came out to look at the carpet and to recommend the correct service the same day I called. He called me about potential issues with cleaning (there weren't any). The rug came back clean and beautiful. When they delivered the rug, they laid it back down, lifting the furniture.

Rich did an amazing job of cleaning my carpets. Although it’s now nearly 20 years old, applying his knowledge, experience and commitment to his work, he was able to make it look almost new again, even removing several spots of dried paint and restoring heavy traffic areas on the stairs. His work ethic is commendable. Rich arrived on time and took great measures to protect corners and my hardwood floors from damage. He managed moving larger furniture so all I had to do was remove breakables from tables. I would highly recommend his services.

Although we had to delay services, he promptly reconfirmed pricing once we were ready and provided service date options. Damion and Matt, the techs, were great. They not only walked thru everything but also not only took the time to suggest additional furniture that should be moved to get the best clean and the most for my money but also assisted in helping move some items (smaller, like nightstands). I didn't have to tell them; they took the initiative to find an uncarpeted area and placed the items there. I felt a sense of cleanliness once they were done. Rich was amazing! My husband and I just bought a new house and my mom uses Rich and raved about him and how good his work is. My carpet in the new home I thought I would have to replace which would have cost $$$ so my mom suggested rich and so glad that I went that way. He made our carpet look almost new ! Dont know if you can tell from the photo but there was a really darken area in middle of carpet from wear and tear +/- pet wear. It looked completely improved after rich finished

Rich provided a great deal of information when I called for a cleaning consultation. His services did not disappoint and he had our bedroom carpets looking brand new! They were even able to get rid of the buckling that we saw in the carpet. Highly recommended.
