My mother gifted me moving services for my relocation in July. At first, I thought the move had gone okay, but once I retrieved all my belongings and reflected on the experience, I realized the service fell far below professional standards.

The movers were polite and courteous, but the execution was inexperienced and careless. One of the legs on my dresser broke immediately and was “repaired” with Gorilla Glue. Boxes were often placed without reading labels, leading to multiple errors. Heavy boxes were stacked on top of lighter ones, causing damage—including a crushed box containing my $200 custom running shoes, which were left with a deep gash in the sole. Two pieces of furniture were damaged in total: my dresser and a marble side table (which now needs to be replaced).

My mattress, which I packed in a protective bag, arrived without the bag, leaving it and my bedding dirty. Several items were also left behind in the loading dock—something that could have cost me extra money had my leasing office not waived the fine.

The movers declined breaks I offered despite extreme heat, saying they just wanted to “get this over with” and mentioned being fatigued from a long drive the day before. I sympathize with the physical demands of moving, but when you pay for a professional service, you expect care and preparation. Instead, I was left with damage and inconvenience.

I also reached out to the company before writing this review. I was told (over text) that they would review my complaint, but after following up, I never heard back.

For comparison, shortly after my move, I helped with my boyfriend’s relocation using 495 Movers. Their team carefully wrapped every piece of furniture, handled a much more difficult four-story walk-up, arrived fully equipped, and still managed to finish without damaging anything. The difference in professionalism was night and day.

While I recognize that moving in July is tough and I provided water throughout the day, I wish more care had been taken with my belongings. I’m sharing this so future customers know what to expect and so the company can improve its services.

2 well mannered, communicating movers took a very heavy statue from Virginia to NJ!! They called every 1 1/2 hours to let me know their status for arrival- well wrapped, well deserved, highly recommended !!

I had a great experience with FECH moving company! From the start, Ade met me at the pickup location and personally introduced me to the movers, which was a nice touch. The movers were friendly, professional, and took great care in handling my belongings. They followed my instructions carefully and made sure everything was moved just the way I asked. Overall, it was a smooth and stress-free move — highly recommend!

Ade and his guys at Fetch were great to work with! I had them pick up a very large and heavy statue in VA and deliver it to my home in NJ. VERY competitive pricing, couldn’t be nicer and wrapped and packed my stutter with care- highly recommended!

Even though I didn't utilize their services for an eviction move (my tenant moved out on his own) I can speak on the attentiveness of Ade communication. (Immediate text/call response, sent email invoice with a discounted price for the move) The eviction move was only a week and a half out, but he still added me onto their busy schedule. Much appreciated!

This was our third time using FECH and they did another amazing job. They showed up on time, wrapped everything with care, and were super friendly and eager to help. They got us moved faster than we expected and gave us a great price as repeat customers. I’ll keep recommending them to anyone who asks.

I booked Fetch Moving & Cleaning for an eviction & they honored a full refund when the renter ended up moving out early without notice. I worked with Ade & he spent a lot of time on my situation & was absolutely knowledgeable about how evictions work. Way more helpful than the sheriff's office actually, I highly recommend them if you need a large team & all the more if it's an eviction. You need specialized service for evictions and Ade knows what he is doing.

The team was fantastic! They moved my entire apartment quickly and even packed a few items I had left out. Their communication was excellent; they called to keep me updated, asked how I wanted certain large pieces handled, and made sure nothing was damaged. They even set up my bedroom and placed everything exactly where it needed to go. I’ll definitely be using them again in the future.

Just want to say thank you guys for an incredible job. I was online searching for movers when I came across FECH. I called that same morning, and we quickly agreed on pricing, which was very reasonable and budget-friendly.

The owner told me his team would arrive at 9:45 AM, and they were right on time. They helped move all my belongings, and everything arrived safely at my new location.

The funny thing is, after the call I went back to read their reviews and thought, “Oh man, I wish I had read these first!” But I’m really glad I stayed with them.

About 1.5 years ago, I thought I was in need of an eviction service. At that time, I contacted Ade at Fech Moving & Cleaning Services. Now, I adoringly call him Mr. Ade. He was extremely attentive, highly intelligent, and had follow-through skills CEOs of Fortune 500 companies would be envious of. We communicated often until eviction time. Unfortunately, or fortunately for me, the tenant paid back rent and I did not need the services of Mr. Ade’s company.
Fast forward to 3 months ago, When I was preparing for another potential eviction, I contacted the same number I had saved from before. Thank goodness Fech Moving & Cleaning Services was still around and, most importantly, Mr. Ade was still at the helm. As before, we communicated often and strategized potential outcomes. Today Mr. Ade’s team carried out the eviction process for my rental home efficiently and seamlessly. His team extracted tenant’s belongs expeditiously and methodically. They were very efficient and completed the task timely. It was very nice reuniting with Mr. Ade and his team. I’m almost saddened that, for now, our professional relationship is on hold until the next unpaying tenant. All jokes aside, I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Ade and Fech Moving and Cleaning Services. If he were to branch out to other endeavors, I would not hesitate a moment to hire his team again.
