I used MHS to install carpet in my basement. Excellent work. Very competitive prices and I would definitely use them again for any home improvement work.

Contacted this company to get an estimate for an involved job. After I explained the history and what was needed, the gentleman who answered the phone was a little condescending so I said that's okay, thank you for your time and hung up.

So my stairs in a 3-level townhome needs to undergo a major repair/replace. The gentleman stated I should send pics and they will provide a virtual estimate. I replied that the job was involved and although I understood no estimate could capture all the needs, especially until you can see underneath, but to start out not seeing the work area first hand doesn't make sense. The gentleman goes on this diatribe about how no estimate can capture all of the work and that's why it's called an estimate. He goes on to say that if anyone tells me an estimate would capture the full job, then don't believe them. I replied, i understand that, however, with this type of job where you're going to have to go into walls to gain access then repair those walls, seeing the job first hand to understand the scope enables a more quality estimate. He replied that estimates are just a starting....at that point I said, never mind. Thank you for your time but I don't think we need to go any further. Have a good day.

Due to the damage done to the stairs by the other contractor, I know this job will not be less than $20k. Therefore, to try to explain the importance of seeing the area first hand to a new contractor did not bode well so it was best to end the engagement.

Their work may be stellar, but the gentleman did nothing to build my confidence in their abilities.

After much research I chose MHS to remodel my bathrooms. After seeing what a great job they did I decided to let them paint my interior and remove and replace my kitchen floor. They didn't disappoint.

MHS came and removed the old Bannister, installed a new one my wife and couldn't be happier with the service and installation. Great Job, we appreciate all your efforts.

My experience from start to finish was amazing, from estimate, demolishing to completion. The crew was always on time and very professional and the project manager kept me abreast of every obstacle that might affect the outcome. The renovation was completed ahead of schedule much to my surprise. Will have more projects for MHS in the future.

I am beyond pleased! I'm pregnant and my husband is not exactly handy. MHS came in and fixed the jacked up paint job in one room and painted another. They were honest with the quote, punctual and cleaned up before they left. Highly recommend!

I was in desperate search of a contractor who was licensed and could pull permits in order to construct four wall partitions of my apartment building. MHS Construction was the eleventh company (and the only one) that I called that confirmed they were both licensed and able to pull permits. Donnell, my main point of contact was honest, straight to the point, and provided answers to any questions that I had. It was literally one of the best experience I've had with a contractor where I wasn't chasing them for answers and questioning why I had work that wasn't completed on time. Their work was literally so good that when I had the code inspector come by, he did not even realize that I had put up a wall until I mentioned it to him. It was that seamless. While MHS is on the price side, the amount of peace of mind you get from knowing that your project will be completed and high quality is absolutely worth it. You cannot go wrong with this company, and I highly recommend them for any project, large or small.

My first time using MHS Construction was a pleasant experience. The owner kept us abreast with the remodeling process. The staff workers were very professional, cleaned up during and after the project was finished. The owner made us feel like he was taking care of a family members home. He was sincere in his work ethics. I will use them again in another remolding project we are planning.

MHS was referred to us by a good friend and after seeing the work we called and got an estimate to renovate our bath, which we've wanted to do for a while. They did such a great job we added an update to our living and dining rooms. Next we had them install a full bath in our basement. This presented challenges as we discovered the waste line was just one foot below the foundation so we needed to add an ejector pump. Overall the experience with MHS was great. We expect to do a few other projects with them real soon!
