Mel was responsive, answered all questions and made recommendations that would cause the least amount of damage to the house’s finished space. It took a while to get moving to provide detailed information about the job to be done, but once he arrives on the job, he analyzed what is needed quickly based on the info he already had and worked on the resolution. I had an amazing experience with Mel Foster Electric! I’m a first-time homeowner and was nervous about hiring someone, but he made me feel completely comfortable. He installed a motion-sensor light in my backyard, fixed the issue with the old wiring, and even took the time to position the sensor so it covered both my yard and the back door. That extra attention to detail was so thoughtful and much appreciated! He was incredibly responsive, arrived quickly, and did excellent work at a fair price. On top of that, he’s very friendly, honest, and has a great sense of humor, which made the whole process so easy. I’ll definitely call him for any future electrical work. Highly recommend!

My experience was not a good one. Mel is pleasant and professional. If trying to cut corners had a name…This was a recessed light installation that went downhill fast. I explained what I wanted but he did not understand the assignment. The results, bad installation, poor quality of work, unnecessary hole in my ceiling and unhappy customer. He tried to convince me that his work was the best solution. Unacceptable, I expressed my concerns and dislikes on his work. A few days later he returned to redo the installation to my satisfaction. Let’s just say….. do it right the first time.
