Sean has done a great job with my landscaping this summer. I have a pretty large hill in front of my house and it was a fairly Herculean task to rid it of weeds, and he’s gone above and beyond to make it look great. He is super conscientious about his work and does what it takes to do a great job. He has also done ongoing planting and periodic weeding for me and really cares about his work product. I’ve been through several gardeners in DC in the past few years and he’s by far the best yet. Definitely recommend him!

Sean provided amazing service!! He provided a consultation, estimate, date of service, and deadline for completion. He executed flawlessly and completed the project a day early. He was personable, courteous, and delivers well above expectations. During our project he maintained an impeccable work site and left the property in better condition (the whole property was left in amazing condition, he even cleared things we hadn't thought about or requested). Wow. Sean is the definition of top-rate customer service. He was prompt to arrive for our consultation and quick to follow up with a very reasonable estimate. Once the sod was ready he was able to finish the job in record time.

He’s exactly the perfectionist you want to tackle your lawn care needs. While laying the sod he expressed some concerns about the state it was delivered from the farm. Upon a follow-up check he decided (insisted, really) to redo the entire job.

Sean is DC-based, familiar with native plants and grasses, and was glad to take on our smaller project.

I hired Sean to re-sod my backyard. He is extremely knowledgeable about the different types of grasses and provides recommendations based on your specific environment/durability preferences. When Sean installed our initial round of sod, he was not satisfied with the quality and offered to replace the areas that he believed were not up to his standards free of charge. He is on time, shows up when he says he will, and very reliable. Definitely recommend his services!

Sean was great! From the initial estimate, he thoroughly explained the process and his recommendations. He removed all of the previous sod and crabgrass, leveled our yard, added topsoil, and installed new sod. He also helped us decide what to plant in our flowerbed. Sean made sure that everything looked pristine before he left and gave us care instructions to maintain our beautiful new yard. I would recommend him without hesitation!

I used District Landscapes to put down sod in my front and back yards, and plant a few hydrangeas. Highly recommend them to anyone! So it all started last summer when I was googling landscape companies near me and found Green Care Landscaping so I reached out via text and someone responded right away...good sign. I tried to get them to come out for an estimate but never got a response after the initial one so I moved on and found another nearby landscaping company to install my new concrete walkway and wood beam retaining wall in my backyard. Fast forward to this season and I reached back out to Green Care Landscaping via text and again, I got a quick reply and he asked when could he stop by so I texted back with some dates and times but he never confirmed. So I decided to call from my cell phone but he didn't answer...I left a voice message and then sent a text that I just left a message on his phone...no response. So I called the next day from my work phone and this time he answered and we made an appointment for him to stop by yesterday at 1:30pm but he was a no show/no call!! I live east of the river and try to support ward 7 and ward 8 businesses first especially black owned businesses but this one can't even get an estimate right!!

Townhome Landscapes recently removed five bushes in our front yard, and we are delighted with the service. Ben was professional and worked quickly to complete the job, exceeding our expectations. We will be in touch with Townhome Landscapes for future jobs!
