The cleaning is average, although I would have preferred for the company to train the lady that has cleaned my house three times to not waist time wrapping ribbons around toilets and use the time to dust instead.
The real problem is communication, which is systematically not working.
We travelled for a week and I cancelled the scheduled weekly cleaning by phone. When I received the confirmation of the cleaning appointment I called again angry (why let the poor woman travel to my house in vain? That is really mean) and they apologized and told me that it would not have happened again. This week we were all sick with a cold and due to the pandemic I thought it was better to cancel and protect the cleaning lady's health. Well, the lady just showed up at my door this morning and I had to send her away. It broke my heart. This company does not appear to be fair to its workers. They use an answering service located who knows where instead of picking up the calls and have not returned my numerous calls with request to cancel.

Kendrick, Jeniah and Miranda are all awesome! Andre, the owner is wonderful to work with as well. They are hard working and super great people. I’ve used Emaids for a rental and now my new home and they do a wonderful job every time.

I have been using emaids for a few months now, and have been absolutely delighted at how sparkling my home is after their cleaning! Everything shines and smells fresh, and they don’t leave anything undone. Thorough cleanings, with real attention to details, has made my life so much easier (and cleaner)!

eMaids of Washington DC did an incredible job cleaning my apartment! Miranda showed up on time and was incredibly professional and kind—my roommate and I enjoyed chatting with her and having her in our home :-) She cleaned every corner of the place, and everything was left in order. I will be using eMaids again and I would definitely recommend Miranda/this service to anyone in the area!

They do good work. They didn’t clean my fridge or oven which I had paid extra for but I don’t think that was communicated to them so I will not hold that against them. Otherwise professional and I was pleased with what they did. The company refunded me for the services they didn’t cover which I appreciated. I will use them again in the future!! Thank you!

I found eMaids' service to be inconsistent. The staff themselves were courteous and professional. The company sent different people each time, so i had to orient people to the space every time - once I wasn't able to show them around and they missed a bathroom. Their teams would come separately and each team member would call me (sometimes multiple times) to tell me they were on their way or late. The cost was very high ($325) and usually they rushed through and were in and out in a little more than an hour. So 160+/hour per person seems really high to me. Quality was just ok.

I’m being very generous with providing 2 stars. I must say I regret using this service. I’ll list a few of my complaints 1. Arrived late, making me late for work. 2. Upon confirming the services I explained to the rep what the maid should focus on (bathroom, floors(asked them to use my products I left on counter), floor to ceiling window, and dust). Pretty common areas right? Well let’s just say, my floors didn’t look much different at all, my window I don’t believe they touched at all, I had to clean it myself, 3. my bathroom wasn’t touched at all, even after taking my time to walk the maids thru the apartment stressing a 2nd time the importance of what I must have done. Upon calling to complain the representative was completely offended and not putting herself in the customers shoes, as if it’s my fault they didn’t use the cleaning supplies I made clear I wanted used, not cleaning my window, and my bathroom being untouched. The representative is in need of retraining when handling customers complaints. I was very excited about using their services and the maids seemed very nice when we first met (they were nice ladies but just did a poor job, I give them 2 stars only bc they seem very nice) but the cleaning service itself could use some work. I’m a very reasonable person and wasn’t going to leave a review but this I couldn’t let go.

Oh! They brought did send the maids back. The rep text at 2ish saying maid were on their way. I reached out at 4pm asking how long would it take then she texted back 5pm. I reach out again at 5:15pm and I was told something happened and they are in the way. At this point I was really frustrated because I had a haircut appointment so I just left my door unlocked for the maids. Fast fwd, I come back from my haircut, my bathroom smelled like an old mop, my windows still looked horrible. I don’t have the energy to call back and speak with that lady again so I’ll clean my apartment myself and be done with this company. I would never in my lifetime use this company for my home or any of my businesses. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

I was looking for a deep cleaning for my upcoming Gender Reveal and came across eMaidsofdc On Yelp and I couldn’t be happier that I did. I quickly filled out a request with some basic info. & Jasmine replied to me first thing the next morning. She first congratulated me on becoming a Mommy and then proceeded to ask a few questions and specifications as well as fulfilling any request. I quickly scheduled my appointment for the preferred date and even received a coupon for $25 off! Skip to appointment day, two ladies (one named Miranda and the other name I didn’t catch) arrived on time and quickly began deep cleaning the specific areas mentioned while scheduling my appointment. In about 2 hours they managed to make my kitchen, half bath and full bath upstairs SPOTLESS! I highly recommend eMaidsDC and will continue to use them in the future!

EMaids provided a high level cleaning experience for my home. The call center was professional and provided an accurate estimate. The team sent to my home was professional and detailed oriented. I signed up for a bi-weekly contract moving forward. Highly recommended.

I had an outstanding experience with eMaids! I have a 3 story, 3 bedroom, 4 bathroom townhome and the ladies did an amazing job cleaning my entire house. They were extremely professional, organized and thorough throughout my service, which included cleaning hardwood floors, baseboards, window sills, shower doors and floors, bathroom tubs and tiles, the kitchen (microwave and stove included) and all the little places and spaces you don’t always have the opportunity and desire to clean on your own. They came well prepared and had just about every tool and item needed to complete the job. The only item I supplied was my vacuum cleaner for the 3rd floor carpet, which they empty and cleaned before leaving. After initially showing them around the house and noting a few areas of concern, they went to work and I almost didn’t notice them for the duration of the cleaning and didn’t have to provide any further direction as to what to clean or do around the house. They seemed to work really well together, they had great personalities and I honestly enjoyed having them in my home. If there was one little suggestion I would make is that eMaids would provide an add on service option for folding clean clothes. I’d gladly pay for that additional service. Either way I’m extremely happy and can’t wait to have them back!

eMaids was fantastic! We have a golden retriever and it had been a good while since our last deep clean of our 2BR/2BA apartment. There was a lot of dog hair, dust, and dirt on surfaces and in those easy-to-overlook spots like base boards, blinds, etc. so we were especially looking for a cleaning service that was going to be thorough and diligent. eMaids ended up being everything we hoped for and more!

I worked with Jasmine on the phone, who was very professional and eager to help. She answered all my questions and got me set up with a next-day appointment and was even able to offer the flexibility of sending 2 people over 1, to shorten the total time needed for cleaning. The next day, Miranda and Imani arrived perfectly on time and were very professional and thorough at every step of the way. They covered every surface, nook, and cranny and the apartment was sparkling by the end!

We were very happy with our experience, especially when we've used other services that we felt left a lot of areas untouched and overlooked. Highly recommend!

I had a deep cleaning service done of my three level townhouse, (three bedrooms, three bathrooms) and the maids did an excellent job. They were punctual and identified themselves upon arrival. They looked the house over and started to work. They were very detailed and went above and beyond in my three bathrooms and kitchen. I had a few areas that needed extra work. My bedrooms looked better than ever and the floors, living/dining rooms were left organized. I appreciated the extras they did like folding a few things I had left out and spruced up the area where my dog sleeps.

In all, I was very pleased. It was originally going to be a one time clean but now I am tri-weekly. Thank you eMaids. I will be telling my friends about my experience and recommending the company. I’m

A recent unfortunate plumbing mishap left me in dire need of a thorough deep clean throughout my entire house. Let me just say, if you’ve never lived through having portions of your concrete foundation jack-hammered up to reach pipes underneath, you have definitely missed a once in a lifetime adventure – and NOT of the good kind! There was dust and dirt everywhere. Cleaning it all up was not a task I cared to take on by myself. After doing some online research, I reached out to eMaids of DC. I explained exactly what I needed and why to Jasmine. She assured me eMaids could handle job, and they did! The team arrived right on time and went straight to work. It took a while because every surface had to be dealt with. But, when they were done, my house once again looked tidy and clean. With the exception of the holes in the floor – but that’s another story entirely. If you are looking to have a deep clean, I highly recommend eMaids.
