Their drivers are reckless. The driver of W L Gary Company, Inc. (a work van) cut me off in traffic, not using a turn signal, nearly smashing into my vehicle. The car behind me almost rear ended me because I had to slam on my brakes and swerve left (almost hitting another vehicle).

WL Gary proudly says they've been in service for 120 years but they still never learned how to work with customers.

My advice to you before you work with this company is to ask for a free estimate. This way you can get a quote on how much it will cost and their recommendation so that you can compare it with other companies. If they don't provide a free estimate, other companies will. Take your hard earn money else where.

I made a mistake of having them come without asking for a free estimate. They failed to let me know that the visit will cost money, they failed to tell me that there will be a service charge, and they failed to tell me what their rate is. I ended up having to pay for their visit despite: (1) never telling me what their rates and service charges are or that there will be one and (2) giving me the wrong diagnosis and wrong recommendation.

I was having water leaks because of condensation. WL Gary recommended I replace the whole HVAC unit and hungrily wanted to charge me $4,000+ and that this was the only way. I had another company come give me a free estimate and this other company said I just needed to replace the insulation around my pipes for $300+ and adjust my water pan. I decided to go with the other company and have the insulation replaced. After replacing my insulation and adjusting my water pan, it fixed my leak 100%.

After their poor customer service which was a huge red flag for me and lack of interest in giving back money they charged me for doing nothing other than give me a wrong recommendation, I am really glad I did not trust WL Gary.

Beware of this company and make sure you get a free estimate from different companies.

We have very old plumbing and use this company frequently. They are always knowledgeable, friendly, and very reasonably priced each and every time. We have had them come to deal with various issues over half dozen times in less than a year. Each time a different problem they easily solved. Their customer service is friendly and return calls quickly if you have to leave a message. Absolutely a solid five stars plus.

WL Gary has extremely competent plumbers who know how to get the job done and go the extra mile to take care of major plumbing clogs and leaks. They also have an excellent in-house staff who stay on top of your situation and put things forward so you get the service you need and deserve.

In years of using plumbers both personally and professionally I've never encountered pricing policies as opaque as WL Gary's. They charged over $250 for the plumber to buy basic toilet repair parts. They charged for the plumber's time to generate an invoice even though it's automated. They charge for a full day's rental of a plumbing repair device that's stocked on the truck and was used for less than an hour. The basic quality of the real plumbing work appears to have been good, and the plumber was pleasant to deal with, but he did have to return to fix a problem with that expensive toilet repair. All in, I can't recall having felt so gouged by a company's pricing and will never darken their doorstep again.

Had a great experience end to end and a beautiful product with the install of my quilt units

The Quilt units have been a complete game changer in our rowhome. Our upstairs bedrooms were extremely hot in the summer and our central air system could not keep up! Brad and Brian proposed the Quilt system as a way to solve this problem. Not only are the units energy efficient, but they look great and are extremely quiet. Brian and Khyree are also are the most responsive project team and were efficient with the installation and left the place extremely clean.

My 100 year old house is difficult to heat and cool equitably. Working with Nightingale Air, I am now comfortable year round. They helped to balance the humidity and dryness in my home as well, which my house plants love, especially my orchids which are almost year round. We can control the system on each floor, sometimes by each room. The recommendation for radiant heat floor in the basement/guest room en suite ensure our parents are comfortable when they visit. I am spoiled by such a thoughtful approach and level of comfort.

This was my first time getting my air ducts cleaned inside my townhouse, and Duane explained everything that was done. I feel much better now that the issue is resolved. Great job, and keep up the fantastic work!
