Hard to believe that it has been a week since Matthew installed air handler and air conditioner. I still look at the work Matt did for my place because it's marvelous. My journey to meeting NextGen Air (NGA) and Matt started back on November 17th when I saw two NGA trucks at a neighbor's place changing the air handler and AC for their unit. I stopped to chat with one of the techs, and we had a candid conversation about cost, whether to go heat pump or not, etc. The first impression was very good, and I made an appointment to have NGA come do an estimate --for March 15th. The day finally came almost four month later. In the morning, I received a text from Matthew asking if we were still on to meet. I was very surprised to see that the owner of NGA will be meeting with me. It is extremely rare to see the owner of a cooling and heating, or any contractor for that matter, meeting with you these days. Matt and I met for 30 minutes, knew exactly what needed to be done, and discussed pricing. The whole process was smooth, and I felt very comfortable speaking with Matt. We proceeded to schedule the work to be done a week later. Leading up to the day of, I had some anxiety whether Matthew and NGA would be as good as advertised. It would turn out, Matthew and NGA would go beyond good as advertised. Matt arrived a little after 8 AM and finished everything at around 4 PM EST --one day to replace air handler and air conditioner. I observed Matthew the entire time, and he is a pro's pro. He takes immense pride in his work and craftsmanship --also very rare to see these days. Matthew also prepared my place very well, covering the necessary carpeting. In the end, he even did a vacuum job to clean up --amazing. I was really happy with NGA and Matthew. Thank you so much for everything Matthew. I recommend NGA and Matthew to you without reservations.
From sales to install I had a unique project for a recording studio and they did a great job. They installed a mini split and vent system. They actually replaced a bad mini split job I did a year ago with another big name competitor and the quality difference is obvious. Every aspect was professional from the text message and tracking of where they were in route to my house in the morning to being flexible on changing plans on the fly due to a unique project. I highly recommend them as their quality is outstanding.
I highly recommend NextGen Aire. I cannot say enough good things about this company. From their office staff to their field technicians they have provided excellent service. We had both a new installation of an A/C Heat Pump System as well as annual maintenance done and it couldn’t have gone better. They have the expertise, professionalism, attention to detail, great communication skills and competitive pricing. Erin in customer service and Kyle in the field are both exemplary. You can’t go wrong in choosing them.
NextGen Aire is great company to work with. My mother's house had a oil to gas conversion and new water heater done in June 2023. The service technicians did a great job. My Mother does not speak English well and she recently had a issue come up after bad rain storm. Her house must have lost power and I was not able to go on-site to look at her furnace. I called up NextGen Aire and they were very understanding, attentive and responded same day. Technician came out and accessed the problem, explained to me over the phone what he did to resolve. In addition, provided guidance should occur again, steps to troubleshoot and if does not work to contact them accordingly. I appreciate the readiness and quick response in this matter and did not leave my mom and father in the cold.
My partner and I purchased a very old duplex. The unit that is being renovated we had NextGen Aire install 6 mini splits for heating and cooling. (We received a great rebate from Mass Save) In our unit, NextGen installed two mini splits and they also replaced our 20 year old heating system with a high efficiency system. I can't say enough good and positive things about this company. From the pre-sale, back office, to the installation, we received exceptional service. All NextGen employees go above and beyond for what one would expect. For example, when my pipes froze a few weeks back (winter 2023 when temps were in the minus 10 to 15 degree range) I texted Jeff Chamberlain (he had provided the estimates for their service). Within minutes Jeff called me (he was busy with 15 other emergency calls) and told me exactly what I needed to do to prevent my pipes from bursting. My water was running again in 20 minutes. All the guys that came to the house were very knowledgeable and super helpful and respectful. "It's not what you do it's how you do it" that makes the difference. NextGen goes above and beyond. We are very happy customers and would recommend NextGen-Aire in a heartbeat. Thank you too for working within our budget.
In the past I have had my furnace and Central AC serviced by my oil company. Although I have my furnace serviced once a year it did not make through the winter. It got really dirty in side and needed an early service. They told me my furnace was old and it is what it is. I was referred to NextGen Air through a friend. Jeff came to my home and articulated what his company does. He could have tried to sell me a new furnace. He was honest and told me he did not think it was necessary at this time. He explained to me the type of service his company provided and how thorough and meticulous they are with their furnace cleanings. I said I would call in November before heating season and have them come out to perform the service. My furnace did not make to then and got clogged and dirty again a few days ago. NextGen sent a technician to my home. Shawn spent the best part of 4 hours on the furnace. He took it apart in every aspect and cleaned it thoroughly to include the flute pipe. He was very polite knowledgeable and when he was finished it was perfectly clean. You would not know the lengthy service was performed except Shawn was covered in black dust he worked so hard. My 1982 furnace is now running at a 87 percent efficiency rating. I could not refer this company enough. I am a Realtor and would be more then happy to refer them to all my clients because I know they will make me look good. Eventually when I need a new furnace I will I will definitely have this company do the job. I highly recommend this company for all your Heating and AC services and needs.
