Electrical reviews in Boston, Massachusetts

Very professional and knowledgeable about his trait, always easy to get ahold of and very patient explaining the procedure to someone not as knowledgeable as myself… Would refer 10 times out of 10!

Ilias’s services are great! He has good communication, was punctual, professional, and installed an excellent solution for us that is still working great 3 years later. Since his first job for us, we’ve hired his services a few more times.

Very professional and amazing service. Elias and his guy installed my CCTVs. I’m highly satisfied and would recommend them if you need a good electrician! A++

We hired IIias for a small electrical repair job. The work was done quickly with no issues. We also appreciated that he lived in the city, which made coordination easy.

Ilias is a great guy, down to earth and very resourceful in solving any issues. He did several installations in my condo in seaport and i am very satisfied with the quality and speed of the job. I would recommend him highly for any business or private projects

Ilias Bintas is a licensed electrician who is smart, innovative, and solution and service oriented. I needed a tv mounted over a mantel where 2 sconces also were. While others said it couldn’t be done without creating a raceway to run new electric lines, he was able to establish an electrical source for the tv separate from the power to the sconces so they could each function independently and do so without creating holes in the plaster wall. He even picked up the tv and the mount from the store! When the work was completed, he cleaned the area thoroughly and left one very impressed and appreciative customer. He’s probably the best electrician I’ve ever worked with.

I hired Mr Bintas for some electrical work at my home, and I’m very happy with the results. They were on time, professional, and explained everything clearly. The work was done efficiently , with great attention to detail. They also cleaned up thoroughly afterward, which I really appreciated. I’ll definitely call them again for future jobs and would highly recommend them to others.

Ilias delivered top notch service, even staying late into the night and coming back the next day to get the job done. He was able to help me quickly address multiple electrical projects quickly and professionally.

Ilias is great! He's friendly, responsive, and knowledgeable. We worked with him on a bathroom light installation. Thanks Ilias!

Ilias did a fantastic job installing our security cameras and setting up home automation. They were knowledgeable, professional, and made the whole process smooth and easy to understand. Everything works perfectly highly recommend!

Had a great experience with Ilia and his crew. They were on time, friendly, and got the job done quickly and properly. Everything works perfectly now. Would definitely use them again.

Great service , had a major issue at Copley Place . I made the phone call and Ilias was there promptly to get my store up and running . Awesome communication throughout the job ,highly recommend for your electrical service needs !!!

I called Ilias on an afternoon because my building was having power issues. He came by in a few hours towards the end of the day and quickly diagnosed the issue as a problem from the power company itself. He was also able to move a few of the breakers around so the building could get essential things up and running like hallway lights & the fire alarm.

He even called the power company on my behalf and made efforts to see if they could come out sooner to fix the problem. He came back to reset all the temporary changes pretty late that night after the power company resolved everything.

Very professional guy, straight shooter, and went way out his way to help. Comes across as a really honest and helpful neighbor. Hard to find these days.

Ilias is fantastic. We had an unexpected power loss on a holiday and were expecting to have to deal with multiple issues as a result. Despite the early hour and holiday, Ilias jumped right in, helped us get everything resolved quickly, expertly and at a fair price. He's amazing!

We had an excellent experience with Ilias. They came to our business to install and set up our TV, and everything was done perfectly. The work was neat, efficient, and completed on time. They were friendly, professional, and made sure everything was working exactly how we wanted before leaving. Highly recommend for anyone needing reliable electrical work!

One of the worst contractors I've had the displeasure of working with. They started our project (replacement of a single electrical panel) without an electrical permit after we signed a proposal with them in June/July. It then took them until October to get the necessary permit. Not only that, they also still hadn't completed the work by mid December.

Throughout the entire process they were more often than not unresponsive, and exhibited incredibly poor communication skills when we were actually able to get a response from them. They also constantly missed deadlines and important dates, such as not showing up to a rough inspection with the City Inspector, and missing a scheduled meeting with National Grid.

We brought another contractor on to replace Ilias and it took them a week to get permitted and finish the job.

I wouldn't recommend this electrician to anyone. There are way better contractors in the area that will respect their clients time and actually get the proposed work down in a timely manner.

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Ilias Bintas. From start to finish, his professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail truly stood out. I hired him to set up security camera systems both at my home and my business, and he exceeded my expectations in every way.

At my home, Ilias designed a camera layout that covers every angle without being intrusive, blending perfectly with the style of the property. The video quality is crystal clear, and the system is easy to use thanks to his thorough explanation and guidance.

At my business, he went above and beyond—ensuring every camera was strategically placed for maximum coverage and safety, neatly running wires so nothing looks messy or out of place. He tested every unit, set up the mobile app for remote viewing, and made sure I felt comfortable operating the system before leaving.

It’s rare to find a tradesperson who combines top-tier technical skill with genuine care for the client, but Ilias does exactly that. His work is efficient, clean, and reliable, and he’s incredibly respectful of both time and property.

If you need electrical work or a high-quality camera installation, I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Ilias Bintas is the real deal—professional, trustworthy, and excellent at what he does.

Ilias was extremely professional in diagnosing an outlet box problem at our condo building. He came in and did the work of replacing our breaker box and and ensuring the inspection process with the city went as smoothly as possible. Very communicative and easy going and wonderful go work with. Highly recommend working with him.

Ilias was an absolute pleasure to work with! He’s professional, very organized, communicates clearly, and got everything done right on schedule. The quality of his work is excellent, and the whole process was smooth and stress-free. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable, top-notch electrician!

We had an amazing experience with Ilias. Professional, kind, quick. We had an electrical outage that he fixed in around 20 minutes. I'd highly recommend his service!

We had a great experience with Ilias. He was efficient, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process feel easy. We also appreciated how thoughtful he was about keeping each area clean; he used a mini vacuum to minimize dust and debris as he worked. He shared helpful information for future projects and was genuinely friendly and easy to talk to. We are thankful to have found a great electrician and will be working with Ilias for all future electrical projects. Highly recommend!
