My trash compactor was under Lowe’s service agreement and Sears did the work. Both technicians were fine but contact proceedure was terrible

Mark, the repair person was really good. He came twice. The first time, he assessed what was wrong with my riding mower and ordered the correct parts and the second time he fixed it. It seems to be working fine so far. The only reason I did not give it five stars was because Sears itself did not schedule or keep the scheduled appointment for Wednesday and, luckily I was able to figure out that there was no appointment when I was told that there was. So Sears needs to be more accommodating at troubleshooting things like the appointment. I could not get through the phone because it kept saying goodbye when I was trying to talk with someone to confirm my appointment. I paid $500 for repairs; Sears should at least allow me to talk with a person.

Mixed feelings, however, finally the washing machine is fixed. Numerous damaged parts received, wrong parts installed causing clogging of the drain, numerous large damaged and wrongly ordered parts left for me to discard! and inaccurate information from on line staff. Technicians that finally fixed it were great though. Took three tries to get it right.

Good tech appt unfortunately dishwasher would cost more to repair than replace.

Zack contacted me prior to his arrival. When he arrived at my home, he saw the problem and made some recommendations. Due to this, I was able to set an appointment regarding his recommendation.

Sears had lost its department store business at many places; however, thanks to its repair of home appliances business that it is surviving. Generally, regarded professional service. Must maintain Best Customer Satisfaction.

Experienced, professional, passionate about his job and great interpersonal skills.

The five stars and rating above is for the technician that came and repaired my washer. As for Sears Repair, I rate you at "C" because of: difficulty getting to reach customer service, delay in getting a timely repair appointments, sometimes on the day of the appointment, they claim I did not book any appointment. Please, I personally I like to talk with live person not the machines. Can we at least have the option to do so than being blocked by those machines that most times are not able to resolve the issues we have.

I'm sure the technician is good at what he does but Sears has definitely dropped the ball with their AI phone attendant.
Their AI only let you answer questions they want to ask with absolutely no personal Touch whatsoever. I made over five attempts to a correct a phone number but to no avail, thanks to AI. For this reason alone I would never use Sears again. Rip Sears, you used to be good.... 30-year customer saying goodbye!

I'm highly dissatisfied with my recent service experience for a portable air conditioner. I was unable to speak with a human representative, only AI, which quoted me a service fee. However, the technician who arrived attempted to charge a significantly higher price. He also informed me that the only solution was a $1,000 compressor replacement, which is over three times the cost of the unit itself. I declined to pay as the technician's payment system didn't reflect the quoted price. Additionally, he was late after Sears had me confirm the time frame he would be arriving 12 different times and he spent over an hour on-site only to state the AC couldn't be fixed.

No communication did not know what the repairs were for. Left all the trash here in the basement took one piece of equipment with him that was supposed to be replaced. I tried to ask him about it and he just said no no I’m taking it with me and got in his car and drove off, that means he did not replace one piece. I tried to call him back. He would not turn around or come back. I want someone to come out and take a look.

Scott did a good job of explaining how we should proceed given that the necessary parts are no longer available and not in stock anywhere.

Our refrigerator had an issue. W estates calling around about repairs. Contacting these guys was a grave mistake. They have a new ‘artificial intelligence’ system that is bonkers. You have to provide your details not even get to seeing the schedule. When they didn’t have anything available? We tried to stop. The system scheduled an appointment for us and began no barring us with notifications and spam marketing. At no point did we schedule anything. Repeated cancelling the appointment had zero effect. No one to call because … AI. We literally could not shut this junk system off. They dispatched a repairman anyway - to an appointment that was never scheduled, repeatedly cancelled, and wasn’t needed anymore.

Don’t even contact these guys. It’s not AI, it’s harassment by insane robot. Just an utter waste for everyone involved but the hyper aggressive bot.

How does anyone think this system would do anything other than drive customers to file a restraining order?

Excellent Service, fast, efficient, professional, and I am so happy to have this problem fixed without having to get a new machine.

I don’t like the fact you could only go through the website to actually get anything accomplished. You don’t talk to a person even if you call the one 800 number you don’t get a person. The fact that everything is done by text or an app is absolutely crazy. There’s no human communication you don’t get no person to talk to you about prices. You get no receipts. Everything is electronic. The process was long the times kept changing …The technician was never here when he was supposed to be.
