I called Back Bay Mechanical to check out and service my condo AC/heating unit; this at a time when the hot weather was placing heavy demands across this service industry - and this company came through for me. Their scheduling office was professional and courteous and arranged a date/time that worked for my business/work schedule. Their tech came on time, he was knowledgeable on my systems, was able to diagnose and improve the operation of the system. He explained, offered suggestions and got the work done promptly and without creating a mess.

Back Bay Mechanical replaced my furnace/ air conditioner in my Boston Condo , and they come out twice a yea to do preventive maintenance. They are on time, professional, quiet and keep my unit working perfectly. I would recommend them highly.

The mechanic they sent was early which is always appreciated! He helped with my wiring, checked everything on the roof and gave me good suggestions to ensure the filtration is good. He also fixed the settings so the heat was more efficient and less expensive!!!

I had a broken heat pump and consequently, no A/C. The owner of Back Bay Mechanical came out within a day to assess the problem and got me a new one within a week or two. The installer was very professional, very clean (he spread out a drip cloth and wore booties), and did a great job installing the new heat pump. I’d use them again in a heartbeat!

Back Bay is the most reliable vendor/contractor I have encountered in my 22 years living in Boston. Though they did not install my HVAC systems, and it is a complicated system, Back Bay’s work is excellent. They are always on time, helpful, and cost effective.

Our four unit Back Bay condominium building started using Back Bay Mechanical last year for HVAC maintenance. Chris came the first time and Dakota came the second time. Both were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They went to great lengths to avoid damaging or getting the apartment dirty. They took time to explain what they were doing, and clearly did not rush the job even though it was for a flat rate. I have also spoken a number of times to Nicole and Tricia in their administrative offices. They are delightful, responsive, and totally reliable. These days it is not easy to find people of this caliber providing home service. They are a five star service and I highly recommend them.

After getting 3 quotes, i decided on BBM. It was not the lowest bid, however it was a company that was very upfront and professional and honest about the installation process. As a single woman, they treated me with respect and answered all my questions. We agreed on the contract, scheduled a date and the crew arrived on time and ready to go. They left my home spotless after each work day and completed the installation according to the timeline. I would highly recommend BBM. You will be happy with your decision!

Back Bay Mechanical is exceptional. They are always accessible (even in the middle of the night…the on-call people are right there for you). It is easy to make appointments, and the office staff is so friendly and helpful. The techs are so nice, punctual, responsible if they are held up (only happened once in 8 years), respectful of your home and always clean up after themselves (they wear shoe covers, and vacuum when they’re done), knowledgeable and patient (always happy to explain what they’re doing and why), and they are meticulous about the condition and safety of your HVAC unit. A+!!!

Good experience with HVAC cleaning service. The technician was kind, professional, and clearly knowledgeable. They worked efficiently and finished the job quickly. The space was left clean and tidy.

I'm very pleased with the work done by Elite Plumbing. I have very old pipes that are almost impossible to repair without breaking. In addition, these pipes might as well have been welded to the deepest basin of a sink known to man. So I had my doubts that even a professional plumber could change out my faucet, but the plumber from Elite Plumbing was able to manage it. I was very pleased with the price point of the services. I was able to have different things fixed throughout the house, some much-needed advice that will help avoid costly repairs in the future, all within just a couple of hours and well under the expected price. And aside from time and money, The young man was nicely dressed. He even put protective footies on each time he came in and out of the house to avoid tracking in dirt. I highly recommend Elite plumbing and will not be going anywhere else for my plumbing needs!
