Electricians arrived on time and diagnosed issue with thermostat for electric heat, after thorough testing. Thermostat was installed and functioned properly. Very personable and knowledgeable gentleman who responded to the call. Couldn’t be happier with result.

They use an AI system to handle calls, which is interesting and modern. However, the plumber they sent arrived without parts or equipment. He was scheduled for the afternoon but arrived later and quoted $700 just to replace a toilet tank fill valve.
Be careful — it seems like the business model relies on charging a $70–$80 visit fee even when no work is performed, followed by very high estimates.

If I could leave 0 stars I would, not servicing a machine that was installed a year ago during the blizzard that isn’t working and leaving 2 elderly people without heat is a new low. This company purchased Winters in Waltham and doesn’t keep its commitments or honor the warranty for a boiler that was installed 1/25. I’ll be contacting everyone to inform them never to use your services. I’ll be contacting the State about your business practices. Please understand I have just begun to make everyone aware what a terrible organization you are.

When my water heater failed I called HL Bowman -Winters because of the great work the did with my furnace. They exceeded my expectations. Julien and Mike were all business and finished the job quickly. They did quality work, all connections are clean, unlike the series of splices done from the last time it was done. I have other miscellaneous plumbing issues. I will definitely have HL Bowman back for more work. I know that I can trust them to do the best work possible.

Winters installed my new heating system just about three years ago. It’s been terrific, but recently it started to make some odd noises. Jeo, my excellent technician, identified the issue right away. A little air in the line, which he immediately took care of. And because my house is over 100 years old and settling, it caused two copper pipes to press against each other. So when the heat came on they would vibrate and make a rattling noise. A small spacer put between them solved the problem right away. Awesome service. Friendly and knowledgeable technician. And a responsive company. I give ‘em an A+.

Huge shoutout to Terry for coming through and fixing my heat so quickly! He was able to diagnose everything right away, and got my home warm again in no time. Super professional, honest, and friendly. If you ever need an HVAC expert you can trust, Terry is your guy! Highly recommend

This company is dishonest and is trying to take advantage of people!

They came out to look at a combo boiler that failed. Gave us a quote for 28k to replace it. I'm talking drop the old unit , put up new unit and do little piping and turn it back on. Ive been in the trades for 35+ years and never had anyone give such inflated price. There goal was to take advantage of the situation during this cold weather snap. I had an other plumber come out on the same day ,replaced the unit and reworked the plumbing for fraction of the cost. My bill was 4k in material plus labor which was a fair price. We even tipped the plumber because he did such an amazing job. HL BOWMAN IS TERRIBLE do not even wast your time

My experience with all, the service men that came, Timothy Whalen, that showed up Saturday when we had no heat just arriving back from Grenada for 3 weeks no heat. We needed a new furnace, and the servicemen Chris Sines and Zack Mordini and they removed and installed our new furnace by mid morning. What a great job and it was really a pleasant experience and we thank you so much for professionalism and rapid response in the middle of the winter.

We had a great experience with James both when he came to give us a quote and when he came to do wonderful work. James had someone working with him, unfortunately I do not remember his name, but also was great to meet. James and his co-worker installed a bathroom fan and put an outlet on our sunroom porch. Everything works great and they left everything clean after they were done working. James explained everything they did and why they did it. The work looks wonderful and was done safely. We are looking forward to additional work we are having done with this company - which is happening because of James coordinating the next person we need to work with. Thank you!!

The crew came out today as promised, to get rid of the mold on my attic. They were the only company that responded when I needed them to fit me in.
They did an amazing job cleaning out the mold, restoring and prevention.
Mike came right out to give us the quote then during the mold remediation job, he showed up to go over the work with us and answer questions and then called to check in the next day.
Matteo and Joey worked extremely hard for 2 days to make sure all the mold was gone and never comes back. Matteo explained what he was doing through the whole job and answered our questions. They were all very professional, compassionate, friendly and hard working. I'm very pleased with their work and highly recommend this amazing company.
