Worse company out there.
I called for propane delivery on 11/4/25, a few days passed, nothing was delivered. I called back; they told me it takes 5-7 business days. I called again on 11/17/25, they told me it's 7-10 business days. As of 11/20/25, still no propane delivery. I'm not too good at math, I hope some of the readers can help me can help me figure how many days it's been now.
Save yourself the trouble, just don't call that company. Also, don't push it, take it as a sign when you have to call that company multiple times for service before you get someone on the line.

We would like to take a moment to recognize Williams Energy for their excellent service, professionalism, and attention to detail. We recently had a big issue with our home boiler. Others had written it off as a lost cause and advised to replace the entire system, which was incredibly frustrating. Their technician Shaun came out and took the time to listen to our concerns. He went over all the previous work and was able to identify and correct the issue. Everything works great now! It saved us the time and the expense of a total overhaul.

Gavin came today, 10/22/25 to perform the annual oil furnace tuneup and inspection. His demeanor is friendly and approachable. My furnace is older and I had questions about expected length of life as well as the overall condition. Gavin explained things in a technical, professional way yet with wording that I was able to understand. He was efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable. I have an annual service contract with Williams Energy. I have had issues with the pilot blowing out and thermo cupple device, therefore,no heat. Williams responds immediately to resolve the problem, great customer service they sent their technician Ian who was courteous, knowledgeable and an efficient problem solver with great advice and recommendations to make my boiler, which is old, more efficient. I was very satisfied and grateful to have heat restored on this cold day. Highly recommend them!

Words cannot express how grateful we are for the amazing service Gavin and his team provided. It was a couple of weeks ago during the coldest weekend of the year and we're down here in FL and our old drum ran completely out on a Sunday afternoon. The house got so cold that our water lines to some of the sinks froze inside the house. Our service company for 40 years told us the couldn't do anything to help get the heat going again until Monday morning. They wouldn't even put 10 gallons of diesel in our drum with a Jerry can just to get us going again until the morning. Williams, however, took care of us.....and we weren't even their clients!!!! Amazing customer service. Our old company could learn a thing or two in how to take care of people. I would recommend Williams Coal and Oil to anyone in the south shore.

Williams Energy have been completely reliable and responsive to every request, from the people who answer the phones to the technicians who provide service to those who deliver the oil. My father was a Williams client for decades and so were we when we lived in Massachusetts. I’m very happy to recommend them highly.

Recently Had Williams Replace our 50 year old Boiler and Oil Tank. They recommended an American Made product by Energy Kinetics and double walled oil tank, They communicated with us perfectly and cleaned up after themselves. Very Happy

Anthony came out to fix my furnace. Super transparent and honest, went above and beyond for service call. I would recommend higher standard service to anyone!

We needed to diagnose issues with our forced air system to better regulate temperature in our new home in different rooms / on different floors. Anything from Higher Standard was fast to respond with a reasonable quote, made time available to come out the next day, and was really responsive/ communicative via text / calls about timing and next steps. Anthony was highly professional, quickly diagnosed the issue, and even came back the next day to install new thermostat and sensors in our home. I would highly recommend Anthony and will be using him again in the spring for our annual heating / HVAC maintenance.

J.M. service was recommended to me for an HVAC repair at my store. They were responsive, professional, and punctual. Monday January 27, 2020 7:30am one of their drivers in a white GMC Savanna Van was traveling West on Route 2 in Leominster then cut across two lanes extremely close to hitting a School Bus to take an exit on to Route 190 Toward Worcester....... Wow, if these are the kind of employees they hire, I would never hire this company to do any work for me. Clearly safety is not a priority to this employee.
