FM Generator installed a stand-by generator for my home which is on the east coast, about 7 years ago. The installation, which included a new electrical panel and routing of the gas lines, was performed professionally and competently. The price was less than I expected. They have always been very responsive to any problems which have arisen since, as the generator takes a lot of damage due to the salt air.

FM Generator took over from our previous generator maintenance company that went out of business. They honored our existing contract and continue to perform regular yearly maintenance. They do a great job

Fm installed my new whole home generator. The process was quick and painless. They also offered me a maintenance program to keep my unit ready to go in the event there is a power outage. Their indusrty experiance was the main reason we went with this company.

I have had numerous challenges with this company. From billing errors, to multiple contacts and multiple email addresses, a remote monitoring equipment installation that requires additional unquoted parts and service, problems that required multiple visits by different techs to resolve, a tech expressing that he had forgotten parts, being charged $315 in labor to change a $7 fuse, problems that were repeatedly missed and most recently a $2700 quote to replace the radiator. But here is the kicker, after spending $5k in maintenance I was sent a remote monitoring renewal for $200 and told if I did not immediately renew, there would be an $850 reconnection fee as the equipment would be removed and the only way to reconnect would be to reinstall. I paid $850 for equipment that I do not own and that is not portable - I cannot monitor myself or through another firm. I also noticed that I signed a 3 year maintenance contract. Apparently they make up for poor service with contract lock in tactics. I have not audited all of the billing and am sure there would be more if I did. I would suggest not doing business with FM Generator under any circumstances.

In Operations, Julie at FM Generator is a total powerhouse. She entered the management of our generator installation during the height of COVID times. She did a better than fabulous job as Project Manager, tying together several different internal and external services to complete this difficult installation during this difficult time. She made sure that we were informed every step of the way, kept everyone on schedule and task, and definitely over delivered on each of her promises with the help of her management team.

During this difficult time when just procuring a generator was an issue because of floods and fires elsewhere, FM Generator stepped up as a team. Pricing was fair and as described. FM Generator 100% stood behind their work, product, product and promises. We definitely made the right choice going with FM, and we couldn't be happier.

I hired this company to install a propane generator at my home. The owner Will made sure every step was done professionally and on time. Julie was the coordinator for the process and she was also great . I had an awesome experience with this company and I highly recommend if your looking for a generator.

Excellent service. Called twice to report generator not working on Friday evening with pending storm coming Monday and Tuesday. Service rep came first thing Monday morning and got my generator working perfectly. Rep was courteous and professional. Very pleased with FM Generator.

FM Generators were extremely professional to us when installing a generator for our home. I was expecting a baby when we started the project and it always felt like we were a top priority to the Team to get that Generator up and running before the baby came. FM Generators were GREAT to work with.

They were easy to work with. They explained everything and then took care of installing the back up generator. I had to make a couple of phone calls to give permission for work to get started, they then communicated with the other contractors involved in the work. One of the best home upgrades I have done, I no longer worry about losing power.

i bought my Generac generator about 3-4 years ago and the service from FM has been fantastic. I call for service and the technician shows up on time. the technician is very knowledgeable and a true professional.
Last year my generator stopped working. one of the boards had crashed.
the tech cam to my house and figured out a very difficult problem with the board. The board was under a service contract, which he informed me and a $1250 repair cost me nothing.

I actually dealt with FM at the Jordan Hospital many years ago and the service and knowledge of their equipment and the timeliness of their service and the professionalism shown has not changed in 20 years.

it is truly reassuring to know that I can rely on FM when I need them.

My house experiences higher than normal power outages. I had a 20kw Briggs standby generator installed by FM Generator. Everything was great with the install. It is such a great feeling when the power goes out and within 15-20 seconds my whole house is up and running again. The only issue I've had was two blown fuses in the transfer switch (likely lighting hit, to blow them both at once). Under maintenance, FM was out that day and replaced them. The tech that came out took extra time to re-review some of the aspects of the transfer switch and generator with me. Great customer service!

My generator had not been serviced in 5 years and would not start when I tested it before the hurricanes in August. I'd signed up for maintenance, but that would get a lower priority. Donna and Fran were so understanding and sent a technician over to take care of it. Very grateful. Customer for life!

Renewed the contract in November and waited a few weeks and finally got a call from Dave said his staff would come tomorrow. Then the next day he said his tech was sick and rescheduled to the next day and promised his staff would come as the first appointment. Then the next day his tech didn’t show up so I called a few times to find out his tech mixed up the appointment. The tech called me before 10am and never made any apology. God knows when he will come today.

FM Generator is very professional and extremely responsive. They took on my service contract from another provider who went bankrupt and FM Generator has been fantastic to deal with. They setup appointments quickly and show up when they say they are going to and are professional to deal with. I would recommend them to anyone needing a generator or that may need their generator serviced. It's good to know you can rely on someone for something that sometimes may need emergency service.

On Time, and do the work correctly, and maintain our back up generators periodicatly! We had a water leak on our transfer switch, which they quickly repaired with one visit! The crew that works for them are all Great! I cannot recommend this company highly enough! If i didnt already have a job! I would want to work for them!

We have had the opportunity to use FM's maintenance service for our Generac 14kW standby backup generator system for the past two years. The system was installed 10 years ago by another company, but unfortunately, they were forced to close their business. Since that time, we have had absolutely ideal service from FM, in terms of the easiest booking of appointments by very pleasant receptionists. Their technicians always arrive on time, are very courteous, and most importantly, expert in what they do. I work together with the technicians, as we always perform a simulation of a power failure during each visit, to ensure the system's transfer switch operates perfectly. We are always fully informed of the results of the service, and have a plan in place for replacement of parts, if needed, in the future, given the age of the generator. All in all, we could not be more satisfied with working with this very fine group of people.

As an update, we just had our annual service, and despite the inclement weather, the technician took the extra time and effort to remedy an issue of “hard starting,” by adjustment of the valves and spark plug gaps. Thanks to this dedication and expertise, all should be in readiness for the upcoming winter, which if the meteorologists are correct, promises to be more challenging than recent past seasons.
