I had no heat for a month in the middle of winter. I had about 5 different HVAC technicians come down from another company but none had experience with my Rinnai system. I called another plumber and he was on vacation for weeks, he referred me to another company who canceled last minute twice, and he then sent another company's plumber down, who wanted to replace both of my boilers for a large price tag. Then I found Matt Freeman, he came down and explained all my options. His knowledge is impressive. He figured out the best solution at the greatest value. He was able to repair my Rinnai, replace my antique boiler with a new Rinnai, helped with MassSave, National Grid, and getting the permits and inspections. He goes above and beyond, the area looks beautiful. He left the area spotless and finished the job in a timely manner. The electrician he used was also very reliable. Matt is responsive to texts. He writes out a professional detailed invoice. He is trustable and an expert in his field. He was respectful of the house and made sure my cats did not get out. Thank you.

Matt was probably one of the best if not the best plumbers I've dealt with! I had a problem with my tankless water heater and it was covered under warranty. The problem was that no one wanted to work on it. Matt was great because he came to my house which was not close to where he normally works. We called Freeman Plumbing after researching Tankless Hot Water Heaters. Matt was very responsive and knowledgable about the product. We decided to have the tankless hot water heater installed along with moving a pipe and adding gas access for our grill.

He started the project right away because we were starting a basement project and needed the house gas line moved. The process was quick and the end result looks amazing for a hot water heater! He helped with the Mass Save program and navigating the need for a new gas meter. He also helped with the hot water heater warranty.

We will use Matt again for other plumbing projects and emergencies. He responds right away and had quotes to us within a day or two. He crew is professional and the space was cleaned up after they left.

Had to replace my on demand water heater. One company came out and did not follow-up. Another quoted a ridiculous price. Matt freeman was reasonable, kept in contact and provided pictures of types of jobs he has done that were similar to my needs. He came on schedule and advised me that water tank was not what we agreed to before price and install. It was a newer Rinnai model with better features and he finished the job timely and with neatness and care. This guy is great and will definitely use him again. Matt and his crew went above and beyond to get my heat and hot water back on. What started as a small repair turned into a full system replacement, and they handled it with incredible professionalism. They worked the last two Sundays to make sure everything was up and running, and even managed to order and install the new system within 24 hours. Their dedication, skill, and attention to detail were outstanding. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a reliable and trustworthy plumber.

Thompson Works is simply the best. When my water heater went in the dead of winter and left my wife, newborn, and myself without hot water for days while other plumbers wouldn’t return my call, Justin Thompson came through. He’s professional, hardworking, and reasonable. He treated my problem like it was his problem.

We had an emergency plumbing situation over a holiday weekend, and not only was Justin up for the task, but he handled it with incredible professionalism and expertise. Very accommodating and friendly; he diagnosed the problem, ensured it was fixed properly and thoroughly, and cleaned it up as well. Absolute highest recommendation, would 100% call him again!

Justin Thompson is a very neat and clean and efficient plumber. I use him for all my plumbing needs. Also I found out the hard way to use Justin to disconnect an old dishwasher and reinstall the new one much more cost efficient than the big box stores charge you I highly recommend Thompson Works

Be very wary of this company and get estimates for work in writing - we had them do a leak test at our business for which they quoted $600-$800 if no repairs were needed - we gave them a $150 deposit to start the job. They came for the first day and completed the test and charged us for 2 hours of work they were not there for 2 hours - but I'm not disputing that but then AFTER their guys had told us the work was completed and no issues were found they came for the inspection several days later and charged us for 5 hours of labor. Having uses contractors before I understand many have a minimum charge whenever they show up - ok so I'm not disputing for 2 hours on the second day but adding 3 hours to that when the work was already completed and they just stood there while the inspector put the seal on is price gauging.They then invoiced us for $1,105.50 which did not include our deposit and I was shocked that a simple leak test quoted at $600-$800 turned into a 7 HOUR $1,105.50 job so I contacted them or I should say I tried to contact them several times and got no response, no response, no response finally got a response months later they said the bill was correct I told them it did not even reflect the deposit we gave them so then 4 months later they send us a bill that reflects the deposit but won't even talk to us about the 7 HOUR labor charge and discrepancy from the quote they gave us - I paid the balance of the invoice minus the price gauging 3 hours so they got a total of $744.25 from us. They have now sent us to collections for $361.25. Be very leery of this company.
