Reviews of local pros in Dedham, Massachusetts

My fiancé and I recently purchased a home and needed to redo the bathroom. Charlie helped us out with the plumbing work on this bathroom remodel. He installed new shower hardware, new water shutoffs, a new toilet, O-ring and the vanity. He also fixed our shower/tub drain toggle in this bathroom which was not easy. It was also a tricky vanity/drain to deal with but Charlie made it happen.

He is great local plumber who is friendly, professional and offers fair prices. I will continue to use Charlie over the years as other plumbing needs arise. Thank you, Charlie!

I highly recommend Charlie! We have a very old house, and Charlie was recommended to us by our realtor for any and all plumbing needs. In the 6 years we’ve been in our house, he has helped us with clogged drains, inefficient submersible pumps, leaky pipe joints, an old toilet refurbishment, an espresso cup stuck in the garbage disposal in the sink, and many other assorted projects. His attention to detail is second to none; he is kind, professional, and cares deeply about solving whatever problem is ailing us! Recently, we had an ordeal that started with a bad shut-off valve and a subsequent water outage, which was shortly followed by a pipe frozen somewhere between the street and the house. Charlie was available at all hours to help us out. He called to check in many times and made multiple trips back to the house, sometimes late at night. He also coordinated with Boston Water and truly went above and beyond to help until our water was restored. I am grateful for Charlie’s help and enthusiastically recommend him for any of your plumbing needs!

I can not begin to tell you how wonderful and professional Rob is ....He goes ABOVE and BEYOND to help me out of what i thought was going to be a simple and small project and it turned into something bigger...I would definitely recommend him.

Johnny and his team are always responsive! Great work and good value! I have been using him for years.

Hellas Plumbing was our go-to plumber for the 17 years we lived in Dedham. From fixing a clogged drain to remodeling a bathroom, quality, service and pricing were always fantastic.

I was referred to Hellas Plumbing via Facebook and called, Johnny answered and came out within 30min of speaking. He was very professional, kind and fast. I would highly recommend his services and will definitely call him again if any other issues arise.

Johnny and his crew have come to our house several times for major and small jobs and I couldn’t be happier. He knew exactly what to do and was a far better price than other people we called. We have had zero plumbing issues since. The other day while we were away, our tub stopped draining and I texted Johnny and he came that night and fixed it. How can you possibly do better than that? (HINT: You can’t).

UPDATE: I called Johnny this morning as our pipes were backed up and we couldn't use our bathroom safely. He told me he was busy but he'd get back to me in the afternoon. By 2PM he was here and by 3PM the issue was fixed. He cleaned up after himself completely and gave a very fair price.

Woke up to NO hot water during the cold spell in January. I called Hellas plumbing and heating in Dedham. Within 24 hrs they came out and repaired. Amazing service. I highly recommend. Been a customer for the past 10 years. And will continue. Thank you !

John Bayiates of Hellas Plumbing is THE MOST stand up guy I’ve ever met! I ran into an issue with my washer dryer delivery (it was a delivery not installation and I needed a plumber or they wouldn’t deliver!)
I called Johnny and he was here in 5min!!!

I’ve known him since high school and I cannot EXPRESS what a good man he TRULY IS!!

We lost heat overnight and George from Horan Oil came out quickly and fixed the problem fast. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and had everything working again within an hour. Really appreciate the great service.

Thank you for such a quick response and resolution to our “no heat” issue. Our technician Matt called back right away and with just a few questions had the right diagnosis. Then was on-site before we knew it. He was knowledgeable, professional, personable and repaired the problem in short order. Thx again to Matt and all the McFarlane team.

Wayne was excellent. He communicated his arrival time accurately. He was professional and friendly and talked me through all the aspects I needed to know about what would happen during the visit and what would happen next.

Cam Lucci just came to assist us with our boiler situation. He was very helpful, professional and gave us sound advice and options. We were very impressed.
